  1. Rick can meet RUNEGIRLIE :D Who is sooo pretty :D AWW!
  2. Rollercoasters are incredible :D It's not that close to CENTRAL pennsylvania... but it is in Pennsylvania... have you been to Dorney Park? It's not bad, but not amazing. I mean, a lot of people love it, but I think the coasters are overrated. There's only one good one that isn't wooden, and I can't stand wooden coasters. AND the non-wooden one doesn't even have loops, it just goes crazy fast. But Six Flags has some AMAZING ones :D
  3. Eeeeee yay spooferfish!! :D Happy birthday :D No more wonderful teenage years, you old bum :D
  4. Hehe yeah... I'm going crazy over AP tests over here... speaking of which, why am I not studying for my AP European History exam that's tomorrow? :D Five tests is ecky. And two 5 AP exams last year too! Oh well, almost over, on to college :D

I've heard you're supposed to do active studying and such, but I never really do... I tend to just read over things I didn't know well, if I do anything at all, and hope I'm good :D
  6. Keeping a blog isn't a bad idea. Always helps me feel better, ranting into my blog :D Sorry you had a bad day :( I think a hug might help? *SQUEEZY HUG :D*
  7. ...united in LOVE and in HUGS and in HAPPY TIE-DYE SHIRTS :D My goal in college is to get the "pot" stereotype out of the hippie reputation, yumhum :P I think I can do it. 8) :D
  8. :D:D:D I don't hate hippies! My friends can attest to this fact. I'm the biggest wannabe-hippie ever.
  9. Must admit, when a guy wears pink, I do rather like it :D It shows he's got confidence/style, really :P Then, I'm a girl, and I love wearing hot pink, too. :D Not that there aren't amazingly nice things to say about blacks and blues, on guys, or on girls. :D
  10. Ha :P :P If only it weren't so true :P Anyway! I agree that a best-movie poll/competition would be a great idea :D
  11. I'm hungry :x i should get my brother to make me matzah brei :D
  12. I chew on everything... I think I've had pen ink before. :x :D
  13. I've always wanted to go to a random stranger's seder. Maybe next year, when I'm in college :D I know my family would be open to having random people show up :D
  14. Yeah :D YOU CAN DO IT, PETER :D
  15. For those of you celebrating Pesach (Passover)... enjoy the seder, keep kosher l'pesach if you can (no leavened bread, etc.), and see lots of family! :D Happy holidays!
  16. Yeah... originally at least. Though by now, the school is 1/3 Jewish, and 90% atheist. 90% atheist is possible even with a third Jewish, I swear. :P :D
  17. What college are you goin to? :D I'm a senior in high school right now, but I'm going to Wesleyan University next year, and I am *SO* ridiculously excited. It's going to rock. I visited there last weekend, and I actually partied. Like, a lot. That's cool to me, because I'm a total geek. And the people were SO AWESOME and I sat in on some classes and they were SO interesting (ex. linguistics seminar, behavioural neurobiology, Kafka and Jesus class... :D)

I still feel uncomfortable with it. The fact that everyone in Germany was becoming a Hitler Youth at that point, in order to not annoy Hitler, isn't an argument I feel comfortable with. That's like saying it's alright to become a Nazi and kill people, because otherwise you're in danger of annoying Hitler as well. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive because I'm Jewish, but I don't feel comfortable with a pope who was once a Hitler Youth. I know people change and all... but I don't like what it stands for, that it suggests to people it's OK. Meh :x Also, more conservatism isn't my thing. I think in the modern age, a more progressive Pope may have been a better choice, able to reconcile modern-day problems with the traditional faith.

I've had so many people question me about what the Day of Silence actually does. What is the point of being silent? It's not JUST about being gay (LGBT). It's about anyone who has been silenced - any minority groups - but particularly LGBT groups have pushed for this Day of Silence. This act of silencing hasn't always been intentional, and it hasn't always been malicious. It simply occurs because people do not feel comfortable being who they are. They struggle to communicate, but feel silent anyway. So by participating in the Day of Silence, whether you are LGBT, minority, or not, you are having a valuable learning experience. You are finding out what it's like to actually be silenced and try to communicate when you have to in other ways - by writing things down in class, body language. How can you make yourself heard? It's not easy. But when a large group of people are silent together, suddenly the silence is deafening. It makes a statement, it is heard. The Day of Silence is about being open to what other people have to say - and then saying to the world what you have to say. Because behind all of our facades, we are ALWAYS struggling to be ourselves. I think that if everyone in society were more open, it would be a much better place. For the record, my local Amnesty International and Gay-Straight Alliance organized the Day of Silence for my school last year, and will be holding it again this year. Almost a fifth of the students in our school participated, in the first year!

  23. Gosh :S I really don't know what to say about something like this :( It's just... unspeakably awful. :( I think the only thing I can do, is what I always do in situations like this... give you a huge, and truly heartfelt hug. *SQUISHY-HUGS AND1BALLER TIGHTLY* Lots of Love :( What type of cancer? Have you known about it for a while? Wow at having such a specific date... :S :(
  24. All I have is Tetris on MirageOS... and trust me... that is enough to distract me for ages :D My brother programs them though and stuff. He's a crazy genius :D
  25. Yuppers, there was the rune purple large helm too... Here's an SS I took when Paul showed up on a "board troll" party. Ganja Rasta is the same person as Fook A Ji, btw. In case anyone is interested, here's the other SS I'm quite proud of... with Andrew announcing that on his list of things to do, Wilderness is quite a priority... it didn't come out until months later, btw :P
