  1. Not that I found any of this information particulary useful myself, but I am sure that you have answered the questions of many people. As for feedback: you have definately made a good start in writing the guide. But as mentioned you do have to include pictures. Include Maps of where items are (Trees, monsters and the like), as new players have no clue where anything is. Spelling: I want you to do something for me... 1. Highlight the entire guide 2. Press Ctrl+C 3. Open MS Word or the equivalent 4. Press Ctrl+V 5. Press F7 6. Fix up those spelling mistakes!! Content: Don't put in your personal opinion unless it affects the validility of your guide. I would say: When I got to this point I went and killed (Monster), I was level (X) and I found it pretty easy. They have low defence so every attack should hit This definitely has potential but it needs a serious overhaul to get it up to scratch 7/10 For content 1/10 For Spelling and Grammar 5/10 For accuracy
  2. This guide is great! And it really gave me a chuckle, especially the pun at the end about the macroers 1/10 for Topic 100/10 for Effort Overall 10/10
  3. I still don't think that having an extra +6 defence bonus is going to save me from getting hit On my last attempt (Which I took a god cape) I was proficient at lining up my kills, so I am not considering getting more defence when I can get another bonus. At the moment I am tossing up between the God Cloak and Ava's accumulator (Pray bonus vs. Range Bonus) I actually change my killing order a little. Pray suckers first (22's?) then range the lvl 360's, then I turn off pray. At this point I put on my guthans and d hally and run for the Italy Rock to safespot the 180's and 45's. If needed I range the 45's if they are further away from me. When I have only the 180 to kill I put on my Guthans spear and melee pray to heal to my max (If I've been hit). Once at max hp I put the hally and d hide back on and hally the 180 until dead. This stops it healing its self, and I am ready for the next wave. Any Idea's for a music playlist for the caves? ~Blue
  4. A trimmed skill cape is actually better than an obby cape due to it's nice prayer boost. I'd say unless you really really want to melee them all, you should just range everything, making the hally and potatoes redundant. A sara brew is far better than 1 potato for a slot, and you only need maybe... 4-5 brews to do it, giving you more room for supers and range pots. I use the Hally from waves 1 to the one where the 360's come out. The reason for that is I can trap the 180 behind the italy rock and kill it. I found that if you hally it, it dosen't heal. Which is good. All that allows me to save a few prayer points and sara brews. I want to keep one C bow for the 360's and another fresh one for Jad (Max Range bonue) Also I would like to ask a few questions: Why is the obby cape > than the god cloak God Cloak Stats: 3+ to all defences and +3 to prayer Obby Cape Stats: 9+ to all defences (I believe) Now personally I would rather the +3 prayer than the extra +6 defence Would it also be worth taking an accumulator for the range bonus? I want to take a few potatoes for later on incase I need some major healing quickly (A wrong pray switch on Jad perhaps, and in the lucky case that I don't get 1 Hit KOed) I don't have the cash for any battle rings but I may be able to get one off a friend for a few hrs. Anyways I'm off to school XD ~Blue
  5. Thanks, this post fitted into so many categories. Ratings, General Help & Advice, General P2P. Bring Up My Post
  6. Hey guys This weekend I am attempting the fight caves again as I went down fighting last time on wave 61. Just 2 waves before Jad :( This time I am faster, stronger, more accurate with a bow and more holier From those who have experience in this field, I would like you to rate how I would go with these stats on a gauge of 1 to 10. 1 being hard and 10 being easy. Range - 77 Prayer - 71 Attack - 82 Strength 80 Defence - 79 Hp - 81 Agility 60 Inventory setup and Equipment Equipment Inventory 12 Super Restore Pots (4) 4 Sara Brews 2 Range potions Black D hide legs Black D hide Top Crystal bow (Start to before Jad) Crystal bow No.2 (For Jad) Dragon Hally 5 Tuna Potatoes (Thinking of interchanging 1 potato for holy wrench, thoughts?) When replying only take into account what Items I am taking in, do not worry about technique. Last time I was successful in trapping the 180's and lining up the kill order, and I feel confident that I can do it all again. So thanks for viewing and please take the time to reply, even if you just wish me some good luck!
  7. Great guide and I might use some of those tips myself However you might want to put in the conclusion that using the Abyss is NEVER 100% safe... But you've reduced it down to 95% safe which is good enough for me
  8. I'm sure I've posted on this thread before but here it goes again Thanks for the info, now I can sell some of those elusive items that I can never seem to sell. You might want to put in that you can buy God vestments (Treasure Trail ones) south of the furnace, and Blessed Dragon hide on the East side of the furnace ~Blue
  9. I was JUST about to say the same thing! And it really helps, just recharge your prayer at the altar and you can stay for as long as you want
  10. When you say to bring torag, is that only for the monkfish method? I spent a week training at dusties to get a chain, and I could of easially been killing for 30 hrs. When your torags breaks you have to get it fully repaired ($$$), you then have to leave and come back which breaks your training mood. I suggest that it is worth sacrificing a little defence to bring rune armour instead of any barrows armour. Same story for karil, bring black d hide :) ~Blue
  11. He's right! And he stole the words right out of my mouth :D
  12. To purchase barrows and dragon gloves you need to... Dragon: Finish the ENTIRE quest EXCLUDING the final fight Barrows: Finish the ENTIRE quest INCLUDING the final fight
  13. I did a few lvl 1's in my time, but for the rewards you get (100k>), I don't think that it is worthwhile doing lvl 1's. At least at my level. Lvl 1's are good if you are looking for a quick buck if you are low on cash. But for earning a constant flow of cash, lvl 2's are the best. I've also noticed a trend, when Lvl 1's give salmon, Lvl 2's give Lobsters and lvl 3's give sharks. Same when lvl 1's give mithril, lvl 2's give addy and lvl 3's give rune.
  14. Personally I would rather press the 5 key, my wrist gets sore if I arch my hand for too long. I've used the mouse keys whenever I've alched (very rarely mind you), helps alching go a little faster because you can time the *brings* of the high alch spell... But me being an oldie, I like the normal alching way too
  15. Personally I am going to sit on the fence on this one. I do like it because: It gets my total level up (a joyful time indeed), I like it because it enables me to restore energy a little faster (lvl 58- 80xp to 59) and it allows me to finish off my quest list. Now I don't like it because it is not a skill that has any NOTICABLE bonuses associated with leveling up. Example "Oh boy I spent 6 hours training so that I can restore 1% energy in 3.2 seconds instead of 3.25!!" Now If i spent 6 hours training... theiving. I can get quite a few levels which ables me to pickpocket elves or something like that. And they give FIRE ORBS. So personally I only train agility when it is absolutly necessary; like when a new quest comes out. ~Blue
  16. I think that this agility course is aimed at people who have grown tired of the barbarian course, and want to get some better xp. But looking at the guide its self, a few constant spelling mistakes but it only takes a few mins to edit them up. 8/10 for pics and good instructions =D>
  17. Banned for stealing the souls of the bunnies by taking photo's of them! 8-)
  18. Yeah, i noticed that before I attempted caves, really interesting, maybe a shortcut to somewhere If you have the fire cape... :-k
  19. I remember that the night before I got members I sat down and read through every quest guide and wrote down all the ones that gave the best XP... That was a year ago, and i've only finished some of those quests recently Fishing contest, random quests... umm, I remember being really overwhelmed by all the things that I could do
  20. Okay, I like the guide. But can you add in how much xp per hour, and compare it to other forms of training like ice giants? I might head to F2P for a month to train combat a bit so i'm not distracted with anything else XD
  21. I had to read through the guide a few times, but i get the gist now. What your saying is to do other skills while you doing the original skill... Alching and cons for example. But aren't you contradicting yourself because the guide is about doing skills effectively. I mean, I thieve at Ardo and plant the seeds, not too bad. But for other skills like... Agility for example, I like to get 100 cakes from the cake stall, then I like to use the lever to go to the wildy and train there until i die (Thats a good method BTW). Overall I rate it a 7/10, add some more worthwhile pics and I'll give it an 8/10
  22. Okay, you mention restock time. What if we are protecting ourselves from attack in whatever way possible? Praying at elves with the altar, safespotting behind a fence, attacking caged monsters. What armour do you suggest for that sort of training? Just maximum range/mage/melee+strength bonus? ~Blue
  23. You can add in that if you really want to wield a weapon on entrana, you can use the tool leperchaun to bank your magical or non magical seceteurs. Hop to entrana and grab them from the lep and wield. I'm not sure how much of a combat bonus it is exactly though
  24. I agree with jwrm22... This guide is elaborating on scamming :shame: But your guide is valid in the ways that it does tell you to make money In F2P yew logs are nearly impossible to get because of autoers. That it ~Blue
  25. Cosmics are a lot cheaper than souls. And as mentioned before, you meet great people in the mage arena
