  1. Meh -- what'll happen if San Jose tanks again this year? I wonder ...
  2. Wait! Aren't trolls named after the first thing they eat? That means that Dad ate his ... OMG! Actually it's the first thing they tried to eat, so don't worry to much. Oh that's MUCH better ...
  3. I see that *someone* got 99 in Sarcasm this bxp weekend ...
  4. I lol'd. To the OP: As a female playing Runescape -- and in particular one who is older and has children -- I can tell you that there are a lot of women playing. You'd be surprised at number of "moms" who play the game. Most of them are like me, they got into playing because their children played. Now our children no longer play, and us moms are all hooked on it. Such a good role model. :shame: Meh - I have a job, three kids, a husband, a car and a mortgage. I think I've earned some time to myself to have a little fun each night. :P
  5. Funny -- I thought that it was their "greed" that scammers feed off ... Well. Greed and stupidity.

  8. I'll take bonus XP whenever I can get it. That said I prefer items. I'd rather get the bonus casually, rather than feel pressured to get the XP all in one weekend. :shades:
  9. Nice! Looks great -- I cannot wait! OMG! LMAO!

    1. That it sucks and it's better to be prepared? 2. I'm not the type to kill over territorial purposes, but it definitely shouldn't be considered shocking that someone gets hurt after severely disrespecting another person. That's nature. You can't go around being an inconsiderate ass and expect nothing but good to come your way. When it comes down to it, a person stealing somebody else's things, in their home, in front of their nose, chose to put themselves in such an awful position. And the fact that a stranger broke into your residence is reason enough to be on the defense. Too bad home invasion and murder/rape have such an upsetting correlation, or else maybe people wouldn't feel the need to be on the defense so much when they hear their back window cracking. You don't know what they're there for. Simple as: You shouldn't be there. GTFO. yah true that. 1. i only know about british society, but its not really that bad. i know of like 2 people that have been house robbed. its usually really rich people and shop keepers. 2. yeah totally agree with this. in britain you can be put in prison for life if u kill someone that broke into your home, even if they might have killed u. i have no respect or time for thiefs, (in england anyway, can understand in many other parts of the world). what do people expect to happen? 1. Should you be considering the sources of crime, why it's committed and actually correlating resources to improving the circumstances of others in order that they need not commit crime? 2. Very few crimes occur while the occupant is in the home. Does one really need a weapon capable of killing another person in order to protect their Xbox? Is a human life not worth more than your Xbox? Does one really need a weapon to protect a few pieces of paper with monetary values written upon them? Is your life or the life of another human being worth so little?

If humans never existed, nobody would be around to tell a lie. Or I could be sneaky and say... aliens? On another note, some animals have pretty in-depth forms of communication, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were occasions where one animal would use a cry/call/signal/sonar/etc. to send purposefully misleading messages for their benefit ("come here for food" = "come here, I want to eat you" [AKA: a "lie"]). It's a stretch, but possible. Isn't a lie merely a communicable form of deceit? Aren't chimpanzees capable of deceit?
  12. Does it suck less when it's a "less advanced" country? Hope the death toll stays pretty low...they're saying it's in the 40's at the moment. http://bajansunonline.com/japan-earthquake-live-200-to-300-bodies-found-in-sendai/ It's getting worse as time goes on. A tsunami is supposedly hitting Hawaii now as well. Initial surge is/was one metre -- they're predicting possible larger waves to hit Hawaii and still larger waves to hit the North American west coast ... Edit: BBC News Edit: OMG - the live coverage from BBC is freakin' scary! Edit: One funny note: the volume control of the BBC video goes up to "11" - (Spinal Tap reference).
  13. Man! This is scary stuff!
  14. And that's why I trust Tip It guides better than RS Wiki ;) Hi moar lava titans. I wonder if there's been a raise in the value of Lava Titan pouches in lieu of the commonality of this scam?
  15. I gotta say that I find this thread fascinating. The information herein is invaluable. Thanks to all of you for your hard work! <3:
  16. Nothing! Chara got nothing for that cheap shot?!?!?! McSorley's stickwork on Brashear wasn't as bad as that!
  17. The only "luring" I've seen, lately, are these set ups: 1. Ice Plateau Group Telly; 2. Lava Titan Lure; and 3. Dangerous Clan Wars Portal.
  18. Oh gosh-the real world's fetish for gold colour-how ugly. Y'know, it's stupid because it reflects real life. Personally I rather like the colours, but gold doesn't always look bad. For example, the imperial palace of Madrid is completely decked out with gold, marble, you name an expensive old thing and it's there. But it still looks amazing. Jagex are only trying to imitate that. Personally I think the mixture of style with functionality works well, but maybe for you it's tacky? Gee -- I dunno about you, but when Jagex refers to it as "pimping" your cannon, I tend to think that it lean towards "tacky" ... Prolly just me though.
  19. Junk? Thanks to Summoning, Iron platebodies, Steel platebodies, various bars and ores all now have additional uses within the game environment. Most of the material over steel is worth making an alching or selling to alchers. Somehow I don't envision some huge pile of excess smithing junk sitting in a wastesite ... As compared to what, exactly? Slow and tedious manufacturing of useless material? Ok so when I read this, it reads to me as an acknowledgement that: (a) They DO now realize that they [bleep]ed this up; and (b) They've no actual intention of doing ANYTHING about it. Am I reading that wrong?
  20. It's interesting to see the link showing the Gowers's resignations as directors of Jagex as of last December, 2010. Funny that Jagex hasn't mentioned ANYTHING about that?
  21. .. and they could fall and break a hip?
  22. Well - as the article points out. They had ample opportunity to move less viable organizations to Hamilton numerous times, and they've refused to do it (for various/obvious reasons). Still - I'd rather see a team in the 'Peg than in the desert. :shades:
  23. Basically -- all it shows that is that people are "searching" bot sites. Hell -- there's enough chatter on here and in game to make ANYONE curious enough to go looking for a site at one time or another ...
  24. ... oh come now -- don't you remember way back when, about 3-4 years ago, that all the little nooblets were out and about asking everyone and his brother to "join their clan"? That's what *this* update is for! :P
  25. Ooh! Can I come watch?
