  1. RPG and harrinator, thanks, although I've already decided to do that. It does help to have my decision agreed with though.
  2. Go to the store you bought the Classic from, tell them you bought it from them. Ask if you can return that iPod for a greater discount than the 10%. You will have to talk to the store manager to do this.
  3. All the faults of Mass Effect would have not mattered to me if it was possible to have 3 person co-op. Your friends just take the place of your two allies, one of you is deemed Shepard, so they control what areas you go to. I'm really hoping that Mass Effect 2 lives up to the claims of the makers to the fullest extent, as almost all 'consequential actions'-based games fail to do.

Birds aren't self-aware, meaning they don't have the capacity for introspection. How do we know what birds know? The frontal lobe is thought to be the epicenter for personality and cognition. In most animals, with exception to some mammals, the frontal lobe is almost nonexistent. That is still not proof that birds are self-aware. What if the frontal lobe in birds isn't the epicentre for personality and cognition?
  5. Completely wrong. Some people are just more fun drunk. Personally, I couldn't care about the drinking age. I can get alcohol easily enough. Hell, I drink with family, I'm open about it with my parents, and I'm one of the few that keeps myself under control. My general rule is that I have to be able to walk home (Often a 30 min walk sober, so about 1 hour). I'd say this is where you get the best of both worlds. You can still control yourself if you really want to, you get the fuzzy feeling that I'd definitely say is good. You're tipsy, so that's something to laugh at with your friends. If there's an emergency you can react appropriately. NO HANGOVER. Two thirds of a mickey and I'm there, it's wonderful
  6. I'd head immediately to the Southern tip of South America and claim to be Catholic. Since it is a large region of one dominating religion, no worries about conflicts within the continent (except in Brazil, which wouldn't matter since the indiginous peoples are isolated form the rest of the world pretty much). So basically, if South America became a target, the likely country to be destroyed first by an ICBM would be Brazil I'd say, or in and around the Northern regions of South America. The Souther South America is largely made up of weak economic powers (I think), so not a high-priority target. Also, if anyhting goes wrong, just hop on a boat and head to wherever I can.

It would be worth a lot more if it was one of the original pressings. It even says on the sticker that it is already one of the greatest selling albums. I wouldn't sell it anyways. Good album, good singer, and I like the idea of having collector's items. Granted, I wouldn't pay a premium for them. Sentimental value>monetary value by ten fold for me.
  8. So here's the deal. A couple of months ago, I dated a girl (We'll call her Kate). It built up for about a week, then we actually dated. We broke up after 2 days. Kate plays water polo one helluva a lot. Right now, she plays for her club, and Team Ontario. She even played for Team Canada over the March break. The reason we broke up was exactly because of this. School and water polo took up all of her time. Even though we went to the same school, the most I'd be able to see her/talk to her is about an hour, during lunch. So we broke up, but are still good friends (We both still have feeling for eachother). Once schools ends and summer starts, so do her all-day practices (As in 18-20 hours a week), since she's going to Hungary with Team Ontario for two weeks (Was originally four, then six, now two). She gets back August 1st. We're still good friends, I still have feelings for her, I'm almost certain she still has feelings for me. We talk on msn every other day or so. About two, three weeks ago, we get talking about us, and she ends up revealing that she broke up with me with the intention of getting back together, but she's realized something (About her, not us, she did tell me what it is), so she's decided against the getting back together. By now I'm over her in the sense that I still want to date her, but it's no the end of the world. Then comes Mary. I met her at a party last Wednesday. We've talked on msn quite a bit over the past couple of days. Saw a movie with her Monday, we had an awesome time. I've decided that I'm going to try and date her, I'm not going to wait the rest of the summer for Kate (She gets back August 1, but there's something else), especially if I'm not sure what's going to happen. We're still very good friends, so I'm worried about what her reaction to me and Mary will be, in case Kate still has feelings for me. I want to keep the friendship, since I'd say she probably is the person I trust the most right now. Just thought I'd put some context as to how much water polo Kate plays. Since late April to mid-May, I've seen Kate about 5-6 times outside of school. Of those, I've talked/hung out with her 4 times (Walked her home, after my rugby game, she passed by on a run, going to her house for fireworks last Friday). The most I've talked to her face to face was going to her house for fireworks, which was about 2.5 hours. So advice is welcome, but right now I've made up my mind. I'm going to try and date Mary. Again, there's just the nagging little corner of my mind worrying about Kate. Telling you this is one of those it-feels-better-to-let-it-out kind of things.
  9. From a trailer I've seen of it in a movie theatre, an laien ship lands somewhere on Earth and gets captured, along with the insectoid aliens. The aliens want to get home, but because the humans control their ship, they can't do that. Then there's a none too subtle implication of a revolt among the aliens stuck on Earth.
  10. I've had more than a couple of glitches where I had to reload my last chechpoint. Also, Threshers piss me off because I would randomly die, when I didn't even get hit as far as I could see. The worst is getting killed by them when the pop up, or even worse, when that happens the first time they pop up, and your last checkpoint was a couple hours, and many planets ago.
  11. Oh why thank you : My town is having a parade today, throwing out candy, riding atv's, giant platforms being pulled by tractors ( Iowa) with people throwing water balloons/squirtguns at the people watching  Plus a raffle so... could win some free stuff  You get all that and I got to work on Canada's birthday... Ouch... Well it IS on a saturday so... a lot less people working today. But even if they are, the fireworks are tonight :P Yeah, but most of the people I know had it off. It's just because my company isn't Canadian, I guess. Canada Day is a statuatory holiday, it's illegal for you to work on it...
  12. I've had a damn good farmer's tan for 2 months now ;) I tan very easily, and rugby had me outside a lot. Some people are jealous of it (All girls  ). Now I think I've reached my limit as far as a tan goes on my arms and neck, just have to get a tan on the rest of my body.
  13. Like the Wikipedia list has proved, lots of people like die every year. It just takes a few deaths of well-known people for everyone to realize it.
  14. Define what you did to 'boost' please. There are waaaay too many ways for someone to boost in Halo 3. The company is the one that manages it's online service, it has every right to say what you can and cannot do. Just play the game, who cares about a tiny number that has no impact on the way you play the game.
  15. Man the beaver launchers, and prep the moose for their raid! Happy Birthday Canada.
  16. I'm not afraid of the fall, I'm afraid of the sudden ending. Not sure if I said it in this one or the other one, but physical disability is my fear. Being sidelined because of a minor injury is bad enough for me, but not being able to do play sports for the rest of my life... That is something I don't want to to think about. Also one of the few times I would ever consider suicide as a real option. Other than that, I'm not really afraid of anything. I'm used to tight spaces because of how big I am, darkness doesn't scare me, just confuses the hell out of me, spiders I'm perfectly comfortable around, same with any animal that isn't a direct threat to me, and every other common fear isn't found in me. Except the injury one, I think everyone has that, if just because of basic instincts.
  17. List of sports you can play in an organized league during the summer: Pretty much all of them. Even if the sport isn't usually played in summer, a lot of leagues are set up for students. To name a few more, maybe even repeat a few: Soccer Rugby Hockey Football Water Polo Swimming Baseball I could find a league set up right now for any of these sports in 10 minutes. Also, sports don't have to be limited to leagues, friends are great for sports. I don't plan on doing that much gaming. The most is an hour a day, the least none.
  18. To add to what Necro said, I'd like to see an improvement to the driving controls. My only real problem with them, after getting to to them, was the fact that depending on your orientation, they were a bit iffy when it came to forward/reverse. I wouldn't mind getting less add-ons for weapons and such. I liked the concept, but the add-ons were practically stuffed down your throat.
  19. I couldn't really care that MW2 wouldn't be as recognizable as if it had COD slapped in front of it. Doesn't change the game in anyway.
  20. Peregrine Falcon. Failing that, any mid-sized to large dog. No tiny, yapping, ankle-biters.
  21. Permanent or prolonged disability. Whenever I'm injured from sports, it's hell to just sit on the sidelines, able to do nothing. For instance, last game of hockey, I landed awkwardly on my hip, and it tightened up for the next 2 weeks. Those 2 weeks were the start of outdoor rugby practice. Still showed up and helped out, but hated watching. It is kind of a bad thing, since if I get injured, I always try to just ignore it, which most of the time makes it worse.
  22. Everyone with a childhood worth salt is a fan of Toy Story.
  23. This Respirator, by the Flatliners. [yt]lKZsGhi6bx4[/yt]
  24. Holy mother of Jebus.
  25. I only watched the Str8 Rippin' vs. Carbon Match, and even then only the first 3 games. One thing I noticed is that Str8 Rippin does have the better individual talent, but Carbon comes through in Objective gametypes, where teamwork is more important than being able to go off on your own with killing frenzies.
