It stays at 1000 regardless If youwant more points get rid of something

80% of Tders dont have steel titan And again, if you replace torso with a range body it's 30 ranged bonus better, - 8 bonus opportunity cost from zammy book = 22 boost What's so great about new things for tds? am I overlooking something, I have void already but rarely use it, Chaotic Crossbow and Maul is usually what I take (it's really accurate the crossobow) I thought deflector was only defense stats? :S It counts as an item in the void set so you can replace top / bott with the shield

As melee void is the same as bandos, neit and dark gloves, the loss of defense would be substantial, thus this will not be good for bandos. As for ranged, the new best setup would give a maximum 13 range attack over the previous best void setup, which really isn't good enough, and would only be good for TD's if you changed helms, bodys(arma for void), gloves/shield(void for dark/defender) AND weapon(s). So yeah, if you can switch 4-5 items in no time at all(which i know some can do, but not for a full hour) this new setup would be the best for TD's. For range training on low defence/chinning, this will be part of the best setup. It's a lot better to get range attack bonus than melee attack bonus at td's, so all you really have to switch is still helm and weapon. (that is unless you use a steel titan) I'd rather say that it is much easier and beneficial to have great melee bonuses and use range as little as possible(or whenever needed), but whatever is THE BEST there, you are giving up ALOT to get the best, and with a karils/bandos/neit setup you'd likely get 1-3 kills less an hour while only switching one item and having better defenses across the board. Assuming you don't use a steel titan, the speed of killing is much more determined by how fast you can deal 300 range damage rather than deal 300 melee damage. It's similar to how in a chemical reaction the overall rate of the reaction is approximately equal to the rate of the slowest step in the reaction. Idk why people are so close minded to this new setup >_> I already liked void a lot at Td's before, and now it's even better

How so? You still have to switch the helm to get it's respective bonus.. The only difference now is that you can wear barrows gloves, and that means you gotta swap a rune defender, or a better shield, for the void shield. Lolwut replace the void torso with karil/arma/dhide
-
Yeah so I'm pretty sure the new void shield is part of the new best TD setup, possibly best arma setup too. Arguably even bandos, but Idk if void > Bandos for dps.
-
So I wonder if the new shield means any new hybrid setups. I'd very much rather lose a defender / DFS than a body slot. A mage setup with AH body: (includes 30% boost to accuracy) +81 Magic attack +110-130 Melee defense +117 Magic Defense +80 Range Defense A range setup with Arma body & Chaotic crossbow: (includes 10% boost to acc/str) +177 Ranged attack +150-170 Melee Defense +153 Magic Defense +160 Range Defense A melee setup with Torag plate & CLS: (includes 10% boost to acc/str) +140 Slash attack +136 Strength +220-240 Melee Defense +70 Magic Defense +230 Range Defense So as you can see, HUGE losses to defense, but HUGE gains to attack. I cannot imagine the power of +177 Ranged attack on void boost. It would basically hit through everything... and then if you stack rigour on top of that...

DUNGEONEERING (finally) Best way to key

A good keyer should memorize the doors instead of recording them -

Pretty simple, all you need to know is SH = superheating method (superheating while smelting); 2xing is pretty intuitive (use during 2x weekend); AFK = non-attention intensive ("Away from keyboard")
-
To answer my own question: For 6M XP: Smith 2x Miths = 15H, 72M Smith Gold AFK = 85H, 18M --> Save 750K/hr Smith Gold SH = 43H, 30M Con Oak Larders = 30H, 30M Con Mahog Tables = 15H, 66M Con 2x Mahogs = 7.5H, 33M Thus 2xing miths saves: 70H AFK at the cost of 54M. (or) 30H Non-AFK at the cost of 42M. 2xing Mahogs saves: 15H Non-AFK at the cost of 3M. (or) 7.5H Non-AFK at the profit of 33M. Assuming I'd rather choose AFK SHing or Mahogs normally, 70H AFK at the cost of 54M against 7.5H Non-AFK at the profit of 33M. By picking construction, I am saving 54+33 = 87M but losing 70-7.5 = 62.5 AFK hrs. Thus if I value my AFK hours at over 1M an hour, which I don't, I would have picked 2xing miths. Seems like 2xing con makes more sense.

I wonder, is it more effective to first smith 7000 mith bars, or first construct 20000 mahogany logs.

You sir, are a moron. Good day. I made that post before they changed the kb article to "any special attack" and before it was clear the 10% referred to the cost, not the spec bar Also, don't say something like "L2maths" because if the cost reduction were 10% of the bar, those numbers are correct, with a spec restore pot Anyway, apparently 3 claw specs/3 maul specs is still possible if you use leech spec during the attack. But I highly doubt it's worth giving up turmoil for that. -
That's basically impossible to do Still, congrats to him on this amazing achievement.

Teak with 4 planks isn't necessarily faster than oak with 6 planks.
-
Huh, isn't the best way to do construction by buying the planks beforehand or am I missing something? Yeah but try buying a large amount of planks now. But IMO con is not worth wasting the bonus on, since you can get the boost with SC any time. No, letting your servant convert logs to planks is the fastest possible experience, and is also significantly cheaper. I don't know why people don't know this. The gp/xp rate differs by about 10gp/xp (for using planks) and 6-7 gp/xp (for using logs). Mahogany planks are over 20gp/xp but logs are about 15 gp/xp. That blew my mind - can servant unnote and plank logs in one step? No, it requires two trips. But depending on which servant you use and depending how well you know the method, using the servant doesn't take any additional time at all. You can pretty much continuously make larders. I'm not sure about oak doors or mahog tables, but I don't think the delay is anywhere close to banking time.

If w117 were a piece of art, it would be poop in a can The idiocy of 117 is simply astounding

I think dg is fun but i do other activities (clan wars, MH) which i find more fun. The most fun part of a dg though is finishing it quickly and smoothly. I love the feeling of finishing 30min larges.

It wouldn't make sense for it to only boost range accuracy, considering all the other range prayers increase damage. That would make it totally useless. ...And on another note, has any J-Mod confirmed there being an increase in accuracy on the chaotic x-bow? Because as nice as it sounds, I want to pass it off as rumor. It'd still be a waste of tokens.... Unless it was pumped to 175+ or had a small bit of Ranged strength. 30 ranged attack is (very roughly) 10-15% more accuracy. That's a lot. -
All I can tell you is that they didn't stack last time. O that's lame there goes 1.5M smith xp Still bought 92 con though

Chaotics are easily attainable in 20-30 hrs now Also I wonder if rigour/augury are worth buying. They apparently have same drainrate as piety, not 2x -
Can anyone confirm/deny goldsmithing gaunts don't stack w/ xp bonus
-
By the way, construction is one viable activity to do, all you need to do is buy the logs; the cost of planks is set.
