  1. Healing stats on SEE: The new Super-enhanced excalibur will heal the same as a bunyip. This is equal to: -- Spec restore pots heal 400 per inventory square -- 4800 HP restored per hour -- Approx 7.5 brew per hour -- 24 sharks per hour Using a ring of vigour: -- Spec restore pots heal ~444 per inventory square -- 5333 HP restored per hour -- Approx 8.3 brew per hour -- 26.7 sharks per hour
  2. I already got overloads :P The only other skill I was interested in was smithing, and I plan on just using gold ores and half-AFKing it
  3. Your house had to reload? And teak wardrobes are almost definitely worse than oak doors if you use planks, but if youre servant-cutting them oak is a little bit better like you said.
  4. Training construction over XP weekend has given me the opportunity to research the best construction training options. Here are a list of some observations: If you are using pre-cut planks, keeping your planks in your bank saves you 1 inventory space and also lets you utilize the right-click bank option. Servant-cut 8-Teaks (Ranging Pedestals) 7.2 gp/xp 720 xp per -- Is faster and only 1gp/xp more expensive than the traditional 8-Oak Larders (480 xp) or 10-Oak Dungeon Doors (600 xp), which are around 6 gp/xp Pre-cut 8-Teaks (Ranging Pedestals) is only slightly more expensive than servant-cut (9.5 gp/xp vs 7) but faster Pre-cut Teaks are categorically better than any Oak method. They're faster, and at the time of this writing, they're cheaper. You shouldn't servant-cut Mahogany Tables because the main point of mahog tables is speed. On servant-cut planks: -- Servants actually slow you down if you use them to cut planks because: -- A) They are slower than you -- B) They screw up your inventory However, you will save a lot of money if you servant-cut planks. You should never run your own planks. Always use your servant in some way. On SC hammers: -- You should use them in almost all cases; the slight reduction in overall xp rate is worth the money saved.
  5. It's better to be good in 2 things not bad at all 3 ... Platebody + Protect from Mage .. If youre hooded youre (almost) totally safe from melee/range until you get unveiled.
  6. Farm 72 -> 78 (2 Magic/Palm Runs) Cons 65 -> 88
  7. Hood is obvious. 2h vs baxe is personal preference & how much you key. I like to key, so i use a baxe. Blood neck ain't that good Also I don't get why people pick platebody over rangebody, mage def seems so much more useful
  8. 8.5K mahog logs to go... it gets slower and slower :-| longer levels + decreasing concentration + decreasing multiplier = FML At least after this I can do some of my effigies by myself
  9. Wait does resetting your xp counter also reset your bonus time / bonus multiplier?
  10. So far: 18 Construction levels (65 -> 83), 6 Farming levels To go: 12500 Mahog logs Will probably end around 90 Con.
  11. I took / am taking the entire day (24 hours) off from Scape to let my calquat and palms grow. nothing wrong with spending some time away from RS Yes. No, you don't. You have to boost your stats again before you check health, else everyone could use magic trees for insane experience through assist. I was getting xp from my magics even though I was 72 farm
  12. I disagree Best would be CLS/CXbow
  13. See sig everyone is getting these tops fml
  14. Yeah actually chaotic kiteshield is vastly superior to divine in every single way, look at that +30 extra defense points it has ikr People who hate on chaotic kiteshield are just noobs who are too lazy to dungeoneer enough to get one Amidoinitrite
  15. the problem with DGE is that you aren't welcome if you're bad at DG as someone who DGs with DGE, I will personally rage at you if you suck.
  16. There are a lot of people who lose Bandos in Pvp worlds, just watch some pk vids lol Also for PvP, if you're gonna sacrifice defense for attack bonuses, at least sacrifice it for something more useful like your shield slot for a maul or your cape/helm/boots/shield for mage attack
  17. So this thread made me remember that people are pretty irrational. Don't take that an insult, I'm just making an observation. Anyway, OT: I heard a really apt quote about treating people in RS PvP: "Honor gets you killed" One who will fight for what he wants, regardless of limitations ^ Is this what people think of crashers? To them, I would lol. Just because someone crashes you doesn't mean they're a jackface egotistical low life... that's just you raging
  18. I don't think it's bad, I just think the points could be better spent Its also really slow to develop - you have to wait several turns to use it & by then I'd probably have sent in a charged halbridier or charged/cryed scout and KOed your knight + a charged scout is pretty much the same thing, at least in terms of early game The only real difference between a bombard and a charged scout is that bombard doesnt take an attack turn, so bombards can be used to KO champs w knights, but knights are easily sniped (charged/cry scouts)
  19. lol Except some people prefer a more afk-able training style (arma gets hit less), and they're willing to lose a little bit of killing efficiency for it Also arma looks better The problem I have w this thread is that none of the pictures are noobs, its just slayers w good but not the best gear... Not really noobs, maybe theyre just too lazy/don't have the time to get the absolute best + Gear choices are generally pretty subjective & depend on what you value (fast kills / afkability / APM)
  20. Just commenting on clearing policy: If you: -- for whatever reason, don't use protect prays -- have no food whatsoever, and have no money or fishing spots -- [-r] entire team doesn't have hoods -- are approaching monster limit (Note how extenuating these circumstances are) Then I would consider clearing SOME (not all) rooms but d/e's for safety and food drops. Otherwise, if you know how to tank (i.e. TURN ON A PROTECTION PRAYER AND SAFE, LOL), you should rush everything.
  21. It's a lot like chess. You need to think several steps ahead to do well. Things to note: -- Scout is useful for Anti-Mage, and Anti-Range w/ Charge; Anti-Knight w/ Battlecry+Charge -- Foot soliders are mainly useful to soak damage / give your mage/ranger defense. Foot soldiers should be put out front to give your units buffer room -- Halberdiers are pretty useful for Anti-Champ, Anti-Knight and also for soaking damage -- Mages are good Anti-halberdiers -- Archers are good Anti-mage, Anti-Knight but weak to Scout sniping -- Knights are pretty useless -- Champions: main role of the champion should be to take out the other person's champion. Always be careful when your champion is within 9 squares of your opponents'; be the first to charge/battlecry. You shouldn't leave your opponent's champion as the last unit b/c then you can't chastise it Specials: -- Battlecry is pretty much necessary for champion KOs -- Stoicism is more useful than vigilance for units you charge with (it's better to tank the hit and defend later rather than defend first and then die), but has a longer cooldown. Both cost the same credits. -- Bombard isn't that useful -- Shield wall isn't that useful; use stoicism instead. Only situation where shield wall is really useful is countering a champion attack -- Winds of Fate + Regenenerate is expensive but very annoying to deal with -- Chastise is very useful and can save you units on many occassions
  22. I always finish a floor til the last door w a few exceptions: -- Idiots forget to pick up keys -- Whenever ML (monster limit) problems become too big of a hassle -- a DE pot-req door that idiots didn't gate / get herb for Btw finishing rooms doesn't only affect your bonus room bonus, it also affects your base xp i think. So it's really a lot of xp Also: logging in & out basically resets the npc's on the map so it helps you see monsters sometimes when you're at monster limit
  23. Comparison of some setups, pardon the lack of MA rings / spectral
