Everything you listed comes from an activity, not a skill. Chaotic weapons are the best weapons in the game for almost every situation. The items you listed are not. Aside from the two highest tier CW armors (which are useful only in CW, mind you, and should not be used anywhere else, unlike chaotic), none of those items (or item sets) take longer than nine hours to get. It takes significantly longer to obtain a chaotic weapon. Even HALVING the price to RE-BUY (that is, you have to spend the initial 20-30 hours to get the weapon) put the weapons ahead of any of those items in time required to re-obtain. It's entirely fair. So the reward seller should be pitiful about you? The poor guy already has enough trouble smuggling those items out of Deamonheim. If you lose an item worth 50m (I assume people value their chaotic equipment at 50m), you die and lose it, do you think you deserve to get it off the GE for 25m? Nope, you'll just have to earn that 50m back, and that doesn't take longer than nine hours. Why would you compare normal sellable items to earned items... theyre pretty different... and idk what you're doing that earns 9M/hr
-
Either way they should have implemented this from the start... Idk why jagex is making people earn 2M xp repeatedly just cause people are idiots and risk chaotic for no good reason My original suggestion was just to spend DG tokens to buy the ability to use an item and then pay money/tokens combo to buy the actual item. I'm pretty sure on the order of 30-50M would be reasonable and also a huge money sink

Con is really fast w/ mahogany tables, like 700K/hr but gp/xp of like 15 or something Both con and thieve are terribly boring I gave up on training for effigies cause I realized I'm training for skills to train for more skills = fml

Btw I hear red chins are full of bots nowadays Blackjacking is really really boring and hurts your hand, but the technique mostly involves timing the 2 pickpockets properly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BPwYuFRNSg Bring a uni if you can. Also, slayer ring teleports you directly there There's also a lot less intensive strategies for thieving listed here from RSwiki -
Claws isn't unnecessary... it's the most powerful item in the game and reasonably cheap Also, i'm of the opinion pray > herb b/c 1) cheaper 2) SS/turm is really really useful

I have never met people like that but I imagine it's annoying People need to L2DG People need to L2Smrt Sure People don't use it because people don't use it. You speak the truth: DG sounds so much cooler than dung Well well said. Lol people need to learn to tank and survive with minimal food... don't be sittin in a room full of shades, not pray, and eat up 15 salves that could have saved my life My list of grievances: Kids who: -- Ask "whos tools" -- Take armor on the table and don't give to keys -- Food hog -- Don't gate to help the keyer -- Don't follow orders -- Think they can DG but can't -- Don't pick up all keys they see

i personally powerslay and lose up to 300K a task on repair costs pots and titan scrolls... and few tasks have drops that can make up for it. granted i only have 70 slayer and hate the skill. slayer has a lot of perks to it, and is generally the best way for people to get maxed combat if they prefer afk-ability. several reasons: -- moderate income (200-500K an hour if you don't powerslay) -- variety -- charms for summoning -- effigies if your playstyle is more concentrated, i advise training up to like 85 melee/mage/range skills and getting 99 purely through monster hunting (DK's, frosts, barrows are a few example) you'll probably make around the order of 500M-1B if you MH effectively all the way up to maxed cb stats
-
Not directly answering your question but your basic plan should go along the lines of: -- Get 60M -- Buy Karils, Barrows, Whip, and Claws, possibly Ahrim & SoL if you mage -- Make 150M at either TD's or DK's -- Buy Turmoil -- Make 150M -- Buy 92 herb to make all ex pots and ovls -- Make 1B+ -- Win This should take you about 6-12 months Train summoning when you can and at the very least get 88, and then 96. 99 Should be an eventual goal - too many people stop at 96 and don't realize that steel titan is actually much better than iron titan Waterfiends is generally more economical than rock lobs for summ
-
I'm pretty sure it splits noted items up into multiple balloons, not 100% sure though
-
Best bang for your buck: Karils top and bottom (6M) Verac Helm (4M) Verac Skirt (2M) Torag Body (600K) Berserker Ring (4M) Whip (3M) Dragon Claws (33M) Fury (16M) DO NOT GET: -- Bandos (too expensive for you) -- DFS (too expensive for you) -- Dragon items (useless statwise and don't actually make you look good - makes you look nooby) -- BGS/ZGS/AGS (all useless and outdated, though SGS is still useful) Since money is an issue for you I suggest using proselyte top and verac bottom when possible. Generally praying piety/turm is worth the money though. If you mage, add a Ahrim/Sol too

Mining 80-90 is best at concentrated gold rocks. You should also superheat the gold (w/ goldsmith gaunts) to get smithing xp. It's about 50K xp for both smithing and mining per hour. Agility: no idea Thieving: Menaphites are a little bit faster (220K+) if you got the techniques down, but PP is a lot easier RC: Yeah ZMI is about 45K an hour I think Hunter: Not to sure but i think barehanded butterflies are fast -
And that was on a LS world? Wow, he had some balls to crash a trio (I'm assuming you were each using a different combat style with extremes and maxed gear?). I know you said the RNG favored him, but was there anything else he was doing could've contributed? Was he using a steel titan and overloads? Td crashing is all about anticipating the TD's prayer switches. as long as you can hit above 300 often you can crash pretty well
-
Very possible, but I hope not because that would mean another amulet switch in pvp for me and I already have too many -_- you'd eye of the warrior flash when they attack and then switch back for your attacks? i already use 1 amulet per combat style and a 4th would just mess up my invent

It's not going to be delayed til next week I think, it's just either tomorrow or friday Which is still "on time" by their standards but it's still annoying because most of us expect "on time" to be mon/tue -
+1 it probably should just get locked soon lol

My figure is more around 1500 but that's mostly due to a slow computer and semi-afking

That's pretty ironic that you point out "strawman arguments" and then make one yourself. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you didn't understand my original intention To clarify: My main point (and suggestion) is just for Jagex to not to set up any expectations they can't for sure make. I never said Jagex has an obligation to release on Mon/Tues of a update week. In fact, I discourage them from doing so because it seems like they often aren't prepared on Mon/Tues. They should just be very explicit when they plan to release things, and instead of leaving us in the dark, give us an exact date so we can plan around it. TT update was a promise they de facto made Sidenote: Sys update in 2min o_o -

I find the idea of banning someone here because of "troll[-ing] Jagex" pretty amusing Especially when constructive criticism has been offered I personally wouldn't care so much if it weren't like the fifth time Jagex has done this... the first few times, sure, whatever, but it's really starting to be annoying -

3 times in a row? Plus the whole TT mess? It isn't an isolated incident. -

Since when does 1-2 hours give us enough time to change our own plans accordingly? That's really unreasonable. For example, people try to finish F1-35 before this update, which at the least takes 6-8 hours. Now people are stuck because they don't want to reset prestige, but they still want DG xp. Excuses. At the end of the day, if you didn't say what you said you'd do, you lose trust. Doesn't matter what circumstances there are. -

lol, serious? Telling us the day of does not constitute changing expectations in a reasonable manner. Monday: (on the day of) Oh, the update's not today. --> people expect tuesday. Tuesday: (on the day of) Oh, the update's not today. --> people expect wednesday. Wednesday: (on the day of) Oh, the update's not today. --> people expect thursday. Rinse, repeat, delay to next month. -

I agree. Nothing was promised though. Yes, it wasn't "promised" per se, but people still for whatever reason (precedent most likely) expect Mon/Tue updates. That's the crux of the problem. Jagex in their eyes never promised a Mon/Tue update, but people expect it. An easy solution would be to tell us the day of the update. Also, I was referring more to the TT update than this one, where they clearly did not follow through on their promise. Calling a BTS not a promise is really just a way to give themselves an excuse. Analogy: Dad: "Hey I'll plan to give you a candy bar on Thursday" Kid receives no candy bar on Thursday. Kid: "You didn't give me a candy bar!" Dad: "I never promised, only planned". -

I never said technical delays didn't happen. I'm just saying if you promise something, you should take into account any possible delays. I said this before: we don't mind waiting, but we mind waiting longer than we expected. Also, I would like to see you run a company with that attitude. But I'll stop here, because my reasoning clearly isn't getting through. At this point, we're just saying "yes it is" and "no it's not". I won't comment on which of us is making more sense. (just an example: woman holds hot coffee in her lap while driving. woman spills coffee and gets 3rd degree burns. woman sues mcdonalds and wins. now all coffee says caution: hot!. stupid woman is stupid, but mcdonalds still had to make a change) Not everyone has the same expectations as you
