Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
I'm beginning to think that CLS is a better 2nd weapon than maul. The only thing i really use my maul for is TD's and CLS is also really good there.

It's definitely a lot slower than overloaded/SoL/stream firesurge.

Agreed. And the only benefit that I know of from completing ardougne elite is unlimited allotment teleports, which isn't all that useful unless speed is everything to you. Since when did 200K xp not mean anything

I don't understand why you would ever tank rex for a long time... at worst he's only supposed to hit you 1-2 times if you lure. I don't think there's a good reason not to lure (the time spent is easily worth the HP saved) I imagine a steel titan method would involve speccing out supreme and prime, and instead of doing a 2.5 method a full-on tribrid method would be possible. Also note that titan specs almost totally miss rex.

Night Spiders
Iunno why people have such varied luck with the hood.. I've seen at least 3 hood drops and I'm 92 anyway i'd estimate spiders appear w similar frequency in occult and abandoned

Not really. The people that have the stats for Frem Elite already can kill DK's really fast anyway. Plus you really only should use a steel titan for the second half of your trip

Titan is actually not very good against prime, because prime has high defense. Surprisingly it's good against supreme. Obviously still better than just a yak though.

Question about stewing
P(At least 1 +2 boost among 3 1-dose stews) = 1 - (4/5)^3 = 48.8% P(At least 1 +2 boost among 1 2-dose stew and 1 1-dose stew) = 1 - (2/3)(4/5) = 46.7% P(At least 1 +2 boost among 1 3-dose stew) = 36% (from RSwiki) Therefore, if you have 3 doses of spice and don't mind drinking 3 separate stews, your best bet is to use 3 1-dose stews. You'll have about a 49% chance of success. But, if you only want to drink one stew, your best bet is obviously the 3-dose stew.

Chaos Tunnel Waterfiends with new Prayer Curses
You should expect around 300-320.
-
CT Waterfiends; Max melee, Iron Titan, Overloads, Turmoil
Be sure that you use your iron titan frequently and effectively (i.e. don't spec WFs with low hp)

Is autohotkey allowed?
Why don't you just use mousekeys (or remap them)
-
Is autohotkey allowed?
It's not a matter of what is allowed and what is not allowed, it's a matter of what gets caught. If you start using AHK to write actual scripts / mouse movements, you'll get detected for suspiciously consistent mouse movements. This will get you banned. If you use AHK to remap keys, Jagex cannot tell. I used AHK with my gaming mouse on RS to map the F keys for a couple years and nothing happened.

Soloing efficient?
At your level, it might be slightly more efficient to do meds, mostly because your teammates will be derps on the low floors. Try to get your med time down to below 20 though. Once you have access to floors 35+, start doing larges, and doing f1-30 on C1's (see my guide for more info). Find good teams and friends to dg with too. A good team can finish a large in 40-45 mins; a pro team can finish a large in under 30

Why torstols r not crashing?
In the long run, Torstol will still go down. Current torstol prices will hold for a while though. Remember that torstols are really hard to obtain. 2x weekend basically drained all the torstols in the market, so the GE has no "inventory" of torstols as it should. There's a very short supply for them at the moment.

I don't think double xp on the dogs is really that good. They're low level so the base xp isn't that high. Plus you'll get interrupted a lot. It's really just incentive to train / slay in Brimhaven more. The primary deterrent to training in Brimhaven is 1) transportation and 2) dogs. Since dogs give added xp now they might be worth to kill them when they bother you. Transportation was also addressed in this update. 1M FLETCH XP TO GO FML

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
You are the kind of person I am writing an article about: Most people play RS for fun, which is fine. I take exception when people claim that THEIR WAY is better, when its not. I don't care if you slay with a DFS, just don't say its BETTER for slaying then defender. I don't care if you'd rather use CLS then CR slaying, just DON'T SAY CLS is better. Get the picture? This thread is NOT about which is "more fun" to use, rather it is about which is more efficient, and which is better at given situations. If you aren't interested in efficiency, then this thread isn't for you. If you want, just pick which ever weapon you think will be "more fun". No one can say you are wrong then, as "fun" is incredibly subjective. As for CR vs CLS at bandos, I would have to say it really depends on your off hand slot. CLS is better when using a shield, mainly solo. CR seems to be about even, if not slightly better, when duoing/FFA/Solo using a defender. And maul isn't really useful for slayer; I can't imagine a task where it would outplay a CR or even whip+defender. The most funny thing I've seen recently is a level 126 with full rune, nezzy, glory, and c maul killing frost dragons, without a familiar. I just laughed inside. x.x After using CR extensively, and nearing my 2nd chaotic, I can say there is NO chance that I will be getting CLS, unless I were to start PKing like mad, or soloing more bandos, (I enjoy both whip and GS pking, CLS and CR are just slightly different styles and tactics) So my 2nd will most likely be C'bow, or else maul, I haven't decided. I need to find out how much more boss C'bow is at TDs and DKS, since both places range is the class I use to do the most damage. (CR isn't bad vs prime, especially on task) Maul if: -- TD's -- Waterfiends -- Pvp Cbow really aint amazing but it isnt bad either. Be prepared to lose it though, it has low protect value Cbow if: -- Arma -- TD's -- Pvp

Your house had to reload? And teak wardrobes are almost definitely worse than oak doors if you use planks, but if youre servant-cutting them oak is a little bit better like you said.
