Look at all the different parts for RFD - that's a really long quest which takes a very very long time to complete. And Jagex said it's gonna be longer than RFD. Say it's a quest along the same lines, there's no reason why it couldn't incorporate a number of the different ideas here. Especially if it's something about Saradomin, or even gods in general. Personally, I highly doubt that it's just going to be one straight storyline about one particular thing.

The Rain Song, and Battle of Evermore. Oh! And The Ocean. I love the album Houses of the Holy because all the songs on there are amazing... No Quarter.... well maybe not The Crunge. Don't think much of The Crunge. Since I've Been Loving You..... Fool In The Rain... Ohh, and Led Zeppelin III is an amazing album too, I love That's The Way, it's such a sad song! I just got that album on LP and that spinner on the cover just makes my day every time I look at it! Haha Yeah, I've been a Zeppelin fan all my life basically, all their albums, and I'm collecting them on vinyl as well. There's nothing like the quality of a record. Pretty soon I'm planning on getting the music notation for the riff in Black Dog tattoo'd across my back, because even though it's not in my top favourites, that tattoo of that riff says a lot of things about me, that I'm a musician, that I've been into Zeppelin my whole life, that I can rock, that I think it's one of the most iconic riffs in rock history... and because the notation looks pretty interesting written down, and I think it'd be awesome for someone who can read music to pick up a guitar and play the riff off my back haha!

EVERYTHING. I can't go a day without singing or listening to something or watching some music DVD or playing piano or Mandolin or ANYTHING. And I can't imagine myself in a life where I have any sort of career unless it involves singing. All my heroes are musicians. I read about music, it's my obsession. Everyone has some sort of obsession I think, and music is mine. People tell me that I should open my eyes a bit and realise that music isn't everything... I'm very aware of that, I know music isn't everything to most people, but for someone like me who has played music, been exposed to music as much as I have all my life, I would say for me it is. Music means expression, creativity and freedom. Music is something that I can lose myself in when I've had the worst day, it cheers me up. Music brings out unique emotions, it's uplifting, exciting and emotional. It's also one of the most interesting things I can think of (for me) - just reading about any lives of musicians will stop me from being bored. It teaches. I've learned lessons from music and playing instruments and singing has definitely enriched my life. I would go on, but I don't have time and it's hard to explain everything... yeah, music really is everything to me. Haha, call me sad but I don't really care. It's who I am.

Haha, I love this! Maybe this would be the ultimate "classic rock" band - who knows? This is just me. I hope it's ok that not all of them are living... it would still be a brilliant band. VOCALS - Would probably have to be Paul Rodgers (Free/Bad Company). He's got such a great soulful quality that fits well into so many styles LEAD GUITAR - Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd). He makes every single note mean something. You can be a great guitarist and play a million notes per second, but in my opinion you can be a better guitarist if you pour your heart into every note. RHYTHM GUITAR - Rory Gallagher. He's an Irish blues guitarist and I put him here because he's one of my favourite musicians, and because I think if Gilmour's on lead then you can't have anyone else there. BASS - This one's quite a hard one to decide, after some thought I'd say it'd have to be Geddy Lee (Rush) because he's just... awesome. Yes, he can sing as well and he's a BRILLIANT vocalist in his own special way, but I think he's my favourite bassist. KEYS - Jon Lord (Deep Purple), no question. I don't think there's a single thing that this guy can't do on any keyboard instrument and I particularly love his organ work. DRUMS - Well, who else but Bonzo? (Led Zep)... the first band I got into, the first drummer I noticed and in my opinion still the best. I think I'd put Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) in there for his amazing uniqueness, songwriting skills, flute work and general multi-talented awesomeness. Even if all these guys didn't bring the stage to life then Ian Anderson certainly would with his prancing around and doing all that stuff he does on the flute... wow. Anyways, that would be MY ultimate band. I dunno if it really means much to anyone here but I just thought I'd share :thumbsup:

But the slayer skill was reworked a couple of months ago... I don't think it's that, cos they wouldn't do it again so soon. Why would they kill off an important slayer master? It doesn't make any sense to me... So Simulated Udder is either Duradel Must Die, or Added Multiuser. Hmm, maybe it could mean both!

I'm a bit dubious, I mean... if it's a bug then I can sort of see why it hasn't got fixed yet, cos if it is then it can't be the most significant bug... it wouldn't be top of their priority list to fix. Not like the body stretching on female d'hide and that... Mind you, I don't really understand all this quest stuff, I've not done MEP2 yet and I don't know if I could handle it at the moment because of the damn lag my computer seems to be giving me. Besides, I don't really see how elves and vampyres could be connected because they're at the complete opposite ends of the world. Although maybe because they ARE the furthest apart it's possible to be connected because of that... I don't know!! Aah, I find all this very confusing anyway

I was a bit of a weird kid, around the time Toy Story was out I think... Used to believe that toys really did come to life at night and they did have feelings. When my brother used to throw them down the stairs I was always shouting "NO! YOU'LL HURT THEM!!" Every year at Christmas I used to line ALL my teddies and stuffed animals up to make a little path from my door to my bed so that they could all greet Santa when he walked in to put my stocking there. When I first discovered Tolkien I DESPERATELY wanted Hobbits to be real, because well who wouldn't? Tolkien really did make me a very strange child. I once believed that I could really speak Elvish... even though I'm still a huge Tolkien fan I do cringe when I think of the "show & tell" presentation I gave in front of my class about Elvish... And also about Languages, I used to go to this French class but it didn't really have any affect on me... I used to really believe that if you spoke in complete gibberish then French people would understand you. Un PC ignorance :thumbsup: What else... if you ate raw eggs then you would start to lay eggs like a chicken... I think that one was one of my grandparents when we used to bake cakes all the time, to stop me licking the mixture out of the bowl!

I think there was an elf suit - if there was I think I voted for that but I just don't remember... or care very much! You know, the only holiday item I actually use is, surprisingly, the grim reaper hood. Or I used to, before I got a cavalier mask, cos you know something? It may not look any good with much in game, but try wearing it with Vyrewatch as a skilling outfit... then see what you think.... I don't know about Santa Suit, I think it'd look a bit rubbish... people with a Santa Hat might like it for a while, but even then they'd probably not wanna wear it because face it, Santa's only good at Christmas! Good thing about something like the chocatrice cape or the reaper hood is they're not completely seasonal.

Navy slacks are skinny?! Oh boy, I liked those things, but I can't stand skinny looking trousers... they're the closest thing to my green flares I love :ohnoes:

So I'm a bit worried, it says in the co-ordinates section of the treasure trail guide here that it's possible to get a Zamorak wizard if your clue leads you to somewhere outside the Wilderness and if that happens then "count your blessings..." Has anyone here ever had this? What happens? I can't find any information on it anywhere... Thanks

I don't understand all these people who say "as a girl I got all this free stuff" cos, well, I can honestly say that I have always been treated the same as any other player in regards to items and stuff. Not once have I been given anything worth recieving because I'm a girl. I guess people like to exaggerate, a lot. Maybe because I've never had the experience as playing as a male I can't really compare it - I just made my character to look like me becuase that's the sort of person I am. Maybe it's cos a lot of the time I play on my own so nobody really notices what I do. One of my skilling outfits is vyrewatch, just in case there are any 13 year olds that find it nicer to look at and want to give me stuff. I don't really care if I DO get stuff, because I'm perfectly capable of getting it on my own. It's more of an experiment to see if this stuff really happens. Hasn't to me, so I'm wondering if all these people who say it happens all the time really know what they're talking about?

I'm a singer, I think it's safe to say that I'm a better singer than anyone in my family that I know of. The only person that comes anywhere near as good as me at singing is my auntie, and she's always sharp or flat.

I was born in late '89. These are my memories from Britain in the 90s, maybe not exclusive to that decade but definitely there Pogs (I can't remember for my life what they were for though!!) The yo-yo craze at school, they were banned for no reason. Power Rangers (caught singing the themetune by one of my friends - "that's a boy's song!!") Roller Blades Curtain haircuts Terrible pop bands. Vengaboys anyone? A1? And of course Steps! Remote controlled cars Waking up for Live & Kickin' on Saturday morning, it'll always be the best Saturday morning kids show. "Mitch" - I think that was his name. He was the guy that did all the voiceovers and announcing on all the BBC shows, from Live & Kickin' to the National Lottery. Nobody knew what he looked like. When the TOTP themetune was still good. I remember one day on TOTP, the girl presenting it got really excited about one of the old boy bands cos they played their own instruments!!!!! Tapes. When they actually sold tapes in the big stores. They also still sold vinyls. And video cassettes of course, if you didn't have a video player you were screwed. Home videos on home video cassettes, filmed with big old heavy wooden camcorders. Sitting down with the whole family at Christmas to watch. K'nex. Some people in my year 4 class were really good "Saturday night, and I love the way you move, pretty baby..." Does anyone remember the dance to that? Wasn't a patch on the Macarena. At the school disco where they played songs like Sex On The Beach. To like, 8 year olds. But cos we were innocent it just didn't matter. I remember refusing to dance to it "cos it's rude!!" but I didn't really know why back then. We all automatically knew the dance to Oops Upside Your Head though, even though it was like 12 years before we were all born... Spice Girls I like to pretend that one didn't happen. I really didn't like them. Refusing to watch Titanic because it was a 12, and I was 8 I dunno if she was 90s, but Billie Piper when she was a popstar. And Mambo No. 5!! And 5,6,7,8... I'm blue dabadee dabadyee... Terrible, classic tunes. It's surprising how much I remember when I think about it, I never really thought about the '90s as being a good decade because well let's face it, the music was crap. (yes, I do judge decades by their music...) But, well, it WAS my childhood.

I usually play on my own, the only person I really regularly talk to is my cousin & we're usually on the same world so we can get each other out of any scrapes if we need to. Usually him helping me. All my other friends have been RL friends who quit. I dunno, I find it quite hard to connect with people on RS cos most of the time when I add someone they either beg me for stuff, or don't really talk at all. I have met a few cool friends on there but they've slowly dropped out and I usually do skills and stuff that don't really involve much talking. Or there aren't many talkative people around. But I don't mind.

Am I the only one here who thinks it's cheesy? I dunno, it's a good effort but.... well whenever I see someone's written a parody song of something I just think it's a bit goofy. That's just something I think though.

Haha, yep I agree with pretty much everything there. Pretty much sums up exactly what we don't do, stereotypes are stupid anyway. Sure there are exceptions but girls aren't idiots and we won't do anything like that. Or at least I won't anyway Actually come to think of it, I can't remember a time when someone has hit on me OR offered me help. Maybe there's such thing as an "ugly" girl character here :lol:

Yep, always been there. Puffins are just normal seabirds, I remember doing the Barrelchest quest and noticing the puffins on the island and thinking how cool it was that there were puffins on the island.... because I'm easily amused like that.

It was my birthday party the night before so everyone was round, and when it turned midnight I just put on some awesome music. In the morning I made bacon sandwiches for everyone =D The only thing I regret is buying my first legal alcohol in the co-op, should have been a pub or something much nicer than the shop down the road... :wall:

I think the point is that we tend to immitate other languages by making sounds, how those languages sound to us. I'll try and find that Catherine Tate :? sketch..... Yes please!! =D> I agree with knives, very very very sexy OK sometimes it can be bad, like... when you're balding, or if you've dyed it black and your ginger roots are showing a LOT. Both displayed proudly by a man I saw in town yesterday... As for length, naw I'd say any length is good from above shoulders to waist, I don't care. Once dated a guy with waist length hair, completely poker straight & just lovely! But he always kept it tied back, which was no fun. No fun at all... I suppose he looked more civilised walking around though, which was good. But yes, long hair is alright by me ;)

Haha, there was a Catherine Tate sketch where she was a translator or something and ended up really offending all the different ambassadors in the room... even though I don't particularly like her, this thread brings back memories of that sketch... I remember this on the radio a while back as well, I think the conclusion was that we sound like "Blah blah blah" We're boring? Aw man :roll:

I live in UK and there were a few programmes that I really loved that didn't have more than 2 series. Life On Mars was my all time favourite show, ever. Police show about a modern policeman that gets in a car crash, ends up in a coma but goes back in time to 1973. It was amazing, but I sort of understood why it couldn't keep going on. They're making a spin off set in the 80s with a few of the same characters... but it just won't be the same! Green Wing should have kept going. It was a really crazy hospital comedy with loads of wacky characters... man, it was absolutely mental. Loads of people said it never lived up to Scrubs... but I loved it cos it was so mental! and then there was Mac... Look Around You was on a few years ago on the BBC, it only ran for 6 episodes and nobody ever heard from it again. I don't even know if anyone would remember it but it was basically a modern spoof of those "tomorrows world" type programmes, set in the 1970s. And it was amazing.
