The thing is, cannoning slayer is basically THE way to get 99, and you'll get more than enough exp for 99 ranged doing that. So if you get 99 ranged now, then you'll get a TON of extra exp when you do slayer. Or cannon frost dragons. Or whatever. Powering 99 ranged doesn't make sense to me because you get ranged exp as a side effect of so many other things that it's hard NOT to get 99.

It's significantly less melee defense. I'd put bss and obby about equal.

You sure? If you have the cash laying around, it really wouldn't be hard to buy it before you go and sell it right after.

Are you sure you wouldn't rather just slay with a cannon and let it come that way? Kills two birds with one stone and usually makes a profit as well. If you are intent on chins, I couldn't help you, sorry. I had 99 ranged when they came out :P

The thing with praying mage on Zammy is that you REALLY rely on his normal attacks missing, as they max over 400. Melee defense is extremely important so you don't spend all your time eating.

honestly, in every thread where you ask for advice, you always try to deny the answers people give i mean, do you really want the advice or are you just trying to waste everyone's time? Why don't you stop assuming why I ask questions. Am I not allowed to give detail so the answer is easily spoken? I was not bragging about my team at all. All because I mentioned I have a team you are assuming (cabbage) about how I am bragging? It was just for more detail. Now please get back on topic, or don't post at all. With all the info I gave in the post you quoted, how long would it take approximately? If you already know your average floor time and can find your average exp easily, you REALLY should be able to do the arithmetic yourself.

Mage pray is the safer option, with melee prayer he gets an absurd KO move that also damages your prayer. Mage pray also lets you maximize melee and ranged defense easily while also having good melee bonuses- with melee pray the ranged minion tears through your armor. Bring full Bandos and a good melee shield like divine, ely, CKS, or DFS. Soul split flash him to save a TON of food, with the mask bonus you're going to be damaging him a lot, so soul split is extremely effective. Make sure to bring yak scrolls and collect the ashes for a free 20k per kill. Good luck!

As Noxx pointed out, "afk" is a loose term. You're always tied to clicking the screen every 5 minutes, which is WAY different from leaving the house or going to sleep with a bot on. Whatever you say, I find it fun to watch my fishing exp go up while I play a different game, watch a movie, or read a book. I do legitimately enjoy the little feeling of accomplishment I get when I gain 100k fishing exp or whatever for doing something I was going to do anyway. You can't argue that point, it's an opinion. I'm not breaking any rules besides your purist ideals of EVERYTHING needing to happen with 100% intensity, and I'm progressing my character in a way that I enjoy. Not sure how anyone can find fault with that.

Defense

I'm not so sure. Jagex has a way of [bleep]ing stuff up, Runehead might end up much better. No I think he called it... Runehead highscores may cease to be useful... You'd think so, but I'm poised for an I told you so when Jagex makes some sort of dire mistake that makes this system worthless. It's hard to predict what that mistake might be, but then it would have been hard to predict that Jagex wouldn't test the ring of wealth on bosses before releasing the update, too.

Get a rapier with DGS first, and then powerslay with a cannon. It MIGHT be better to initially get 85 dungeoneering and kill enough frost dragons for 95 prayer first too, because turmoil helps a ton with slayer. Tough call there. Either way your next priority after a rapier is to spend all the money you can on prayer.

Soul split flashing saves a ridiculous amount of food over the course of the dungeon, and flashing turm isn't that hard.

Part of what I like about the game is that it can be relaxing. It's nice to get stuff done while I read a book. Doesn't mean I don't like the game, just means I don't necessarily want to be on high intensity clicking 100% of the time.

Comparing rocktails to c2 fishing isn't fair by any stretch of the imagination though. I can't go make a sandwich while my character does c2s for me.

I was under the impression FFA took a hit with the whole being able to loot other people thing. In the past, though, I was always able to find FFA teams on RSOF without too much trouble. The best setup for kills is either max str or full void, but a lot of FFA CCs will put limits on gear, so you might have to go in hides. Also, with no MA rings, you might find yourself at something of a disadvantage.

Funny story: There was a 90 agility puzzle with an eddimu inside. Guess who the only one with 90 agil was :P

It actually takes well under 2 minutes, but with Karamja gloves it's even faster. Either trip is trivially short compared to the length of a slayer task.
