  1. Meh. There are times when 500lp 5 minutes into a floor would be nice, but more often than not you wouldn't really need it, similar to how often the boost would go to waste. It's a matter of, is it worth paying 1 overload dose every floor for something that usually won't help?
  2. Thunderous isn't that time consuming. Where do I go to eradicate Shadow Forger? Stop c6'ing abandoneds, problem solved. +1. With this update I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of people switching to C1ing 1-35. I'm on the fence, because I'm one of them ranked keyers and I feel obligated to keep a few low floors open for noobs who need them.
  3. With all the stats and gear you're missing, it should be pretty obvious why you're not getting anywhere near the max kills/hour. Just keep making that money and getting those stats, and you'll get there. BGS will make your kills slower compared to a whip, btw. Unless you're slow at switching, but in that case it's better to learn to switch better than get a handicap weapon.
  4. Yeah, it seems like a waste of overload to me. You drink it, then there's 10-15 seconds to start the floor, a minute thirty or so to loot the table, make runes, get toolkit, and then if you're lucky and there are straight GDs after base, you get a little over 3 minutes of actually using overloaded stats. More often, there won't be GDs to keep you busy that whole 3 minutes, so usually it's probably more like 1:30 or 2. I dunno what overloads cost per dose nowadays, but I doubt the difference made by having 125 stats for 1-3 minutes out of a ~25-30 minute dungeon is great enough to make it worthwhile.
  5. Trio yeah, but Runebound? If you safespot it while the melee crystal is down, you'll pretty much always be able to soul split enough to stay alive, especially if it's ragered. Unless you REALLY get owned, it's a 2 salve or less boss. Flesh spoiler is MUCH worse in terms of damage output.
  6. Yeah, prom mining is ridiculously fast now. This will be incredibly helpful for when I'm keying a floor AND am the only guy with 90 mining.
  7. I just have to quote this after the glitch today. Lmfao
  8. Great. I wonder how much my divine went down because of Jagex not having anyone testing updates.
  9. Game has been up too long so no chance. They need to shut it down asap or hotfix it. Maybe make it impossible to get to corp if it's going to take a while to fix. It's been like an hour. That is a huge amount of time when you consider the number of players. That's over 50k game hours, numerous other things have entered the game within that time. If it was within the first 15 minutes and it was a bigger bug (effected more people with more abusing it) then yes a roll back might be needed. The main thing that makes rollbacks unfavorable is the possibility of players having gotten some fantastic drop that would be taken back from them. That's kind of the whole point of this bug.

  11. Well, looks like this is a good time to find out for sure the relative sigil droprates before the rollback. There had better be a rollback.
  12. It would also mean that nobody would have any goals whatsoever, item-wise. Even the most expensive piece of armor would be like 400k max.
  13. I just went and made breakfast, and the entire time I was expecting to wake up from this beautiful, wonderful dream.
  14. There is SO MUCH WIN in those patch notes. Holy crap.
  15. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@I ALWAYS SAID THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS OMG THIS IS AMAZING
  16. Ok. I doyn't think purely theoretical assumptions belong here. Point is, in reality there is no chance to win, not even in the long term, if the odds are against you. should be 'there is no chance to win in the long term' because there's plenty of chance to win in the short term. and apparently if u had say 100m and you started on a 200k bet you could end up winnning by just doubling your bet each time until you do, then quitting. but i still don't understand how that can be true because surely it applies to real life? and if there's an unbeatable way to bet then everyone would gamble?? In RS, you're spending quite a while making those 200k bets, and have a certain small chance of losing 100m in exchange for having a high chance of winning 200k. You'd probably be better off cash/hour-wise killing frosts rather than spending a bunch of time betting over and over to make 200k, especially when you factor in that eventually you are losing 100m (if you can even find anyone to take bets that high). In real life, it goes like this: Bet $100 on red, lose. Bet $200 on red, lose. Bet 400$ on red, lose. Bet $800 o-- Maximum bet is $500, sir. And/or being roughly told to get the hell out of their casino, because they aren't obligated to let you keep playing if they don't want to. And of course, in that scenario you're still risking some obscene amount of money for $100.
  17. Depends what you mean by specifically hunt. You should definitely kill every night spider you see.
  18. Yeah kind of like how one trip to corp = 5 divines = 5b/hr omg!
  19. I prefer blazer because blitzer makes it impossible to soul split flash unless you get t10.
  20. One 2.5 hour trip per day for 60 days is 150 hours, 80m/150 hours = 533k/hour, minus whatever supplies you used if you didn't count the loss. Dat money.
  21. At 95 I lose one pretty much every single hour-long TD trip, to give you an idea. I've heard that it's a big difference between 98 and 99, and 99 is highly recommended.

They're not even saying that absolute jumps aren't allowed- they're saying that you have to push one button to move, and then push another button to click. By that definition, turbokeys and similar programs are legal. Then again, this is Jagex. Regardless of what Mark L says, who knows what the idiot who decides whether to ban you or not will think.

Turm makes blood go faster, rigour makes SS go faster. so why not decide which form needs to be finished quicker and have the entire team using the correct prayer? Because if you do poorly on one phase it very quickly becomes a supply-destroying nightmare. If half the team are specialized to outdamage each, then neither ends up healing too much.
