Hotkeys.
I just looked up turbokeys to see how it works, and I don't see how it could be illegal if mousekeys are legal. It's one button per action, just like mousekeys. You set one button to right click, one to move X pixels, and one to left click. Then you push them in rapid succession.

Doubling Money.. and Other Weird phenomena..
This. When someone wins a good chunk off me, I don't care in the least. Not only is he going to shout and make a lot of noise about the 5m or whatever he just won, drawing in new players, but he's ALSO probably going to just come right back and gamble it away again. It's almost as good as if he had just lost his big bet in the first place as far as profit for me. I'm also of the camp that thinks it's really odd for dice/flower games to be lumped in with doubling money scams. The majority of dicers/flower gamers you see are legit, because the scammers just take a big bet and log off. There's no need for game hosts to scam (unless they're doing like FLOWER GAME 100K/TRY WIN D CLAWS), because they'll ALWAYS take your money in the long run. Paying out is very much in their interest.

Tip.It Times - 13th March 2011
First article: A key point left out is that the smithing update DID have some adjectives attached to it when it was mentioned. No reasonable person could consider the Artisan workshop a revamp, but that's what it was called in development. I think that places the blame for hyping the update squarely on Jagex's shoulders- if something isn't going to be revolutionary, don't call it a revamp, or anything else that it isn't, especially if you're not giving further information about what it will actually entail. Third article: Good thing not too many people care about/understand statistics, or gambling wouldn't exist :D

Doubling Money.. and Other Weird phenomena..
Trust trades aren't reportable. I've asked a very strict pmod in my CC about this and he said there's nothing you can do apart from ignoring it. Wow thats such bull, I've been muted several times for doubling money, not to mention mods can give automatic 2 days mutes w/o appeal which is totally overpowered. So, yes you can get muted for trust trades, however your green bar in the ban column won't rise one bit. I don't blame you though, another mod also told me you can do trust trades all you want, because there's a second trade screen that warns the player however you'd be surprised at how much I made in 2 hours of doubling. Anyways, I don't know how scamming is possible on RS w/o trust trading besides phishing or asking for passes. Edit:Btw the dice game is biggest scam ever lvl 126 in f2p with smithing cape, 1m won got 2m 700k won got 1.4m 600k lost 800k lost 2.5m won - he logs out I can guarantee you that there are more money doubler scams than there are dice game scams. You have to be a moron to scam when you're running a dice game, because paying out a big win is free advertising that gets way more noobs lining up to throw money at you. Not to say nobody dice game scams, but NOBODY doubling money is legitimate.

Few dung questions
Your binds are good except obviously you'll replace the plate with a shadow silk hood if you see one, and the arrows should go in favor of either a celestial surgebox (great for hybriding to kill warriors, fire giants, etc. faster, and also good on some bosses like necrolord), or law runes (speeds up getting ready at the start of floors and allows you to key C1s, casting GGS teleport there takes you to the leader of the party, so they wait by doors and you teleport when you find the key). Arrows are downright useless without a hexhunter bow. You should C1 all of your lowest floors and then do your top ~7-10ish large at this level. If you tell me your top floor I could help a little better, don't feel like looking it up :P There's a pretty wide margin where C1ing too many or too few floors makes only a tiny difference in xp/hr though. There's a big old dungeoneering tips and tricks guide in the guides forum that a lot of good dungeoneers are pretty impressed with as far as covering the basics, I'd check it out. And finally, get skype and join DGS (in my sig) to learn how to dungeoneer like a pro with good keyers instead of just being grouped with a bunch of idiots who can't dungeoneer in w148/117 </shameless plug>

Search for "fire cape guide" in these forums and/or on youtube. There's like 50 billion of them.

Intelligence is hard to test for, and DG level... eh. I've met some stupid 120 dungeoneers. Herblore in the high 90's at least indicates a decent amount of time spent bossing, though I agree that high dung is good just for the variety of chaotics and such they're likely to have.
-
Mage level and accuracy
Worth noting that bind is goddamn terrible to the point of not being worth using, even in f2p.
-
Nex
Yes, theoretically and with a great deal of effort one could make a decent stockpile of overloads without getting level 92 herblore. However, the main point is that they probably haven't, which is why teams won't take them. /thread line of discussion?

Lol, actually it was Havoc who bumped it. Lol good catch though, didn't notice that. Bumping a year old thread with stupid misinformation... wat.

Staking advice
Of course there are. That's how gambling works. It's just that you have an equal chance of being that guy or the guy who got cleaned out. Crossed, coming out down once doesn't mean it's a bad money maker. People who claim to be unlucky are, absolutely invariably, people who don't stick with methods for long enough for the law of averages to help them out. In other words, stop being impatient and you'll stop being "unlucky."

Is cannon worth using on steel drags?
I wouldn't say that. As I mentioned earlier, they're a damn decent effigy dropper and you can yak their bones, plus their regular drops aren't too shabby and they drop elites if you're into that sort of thing. Probably overall inferior to frosts, but for a change of pace they're not bad, and much less crowded. I never do it personally, but it's a far cry from something like camping abyssals or something as far as inefficiency goes.

[POLL] Is Dungeoneering a FAILURE?
I'm 102 and still think it's a minigame. There's really nothing making it different from something like stealing creation- it's a game in which you use your skills, not a skill in and of itself. Not to say I don't enjoy it or anything like that- it just is not a skill the way herblore or fletching or firemaking is. It's something else entirely, for better or for worse. It always weirds me out when people can't see how much more dungeoneering resembles a minigame than a skill.

Doubling Money.. and Other Weird phenomena..
I don't think anyone's denying it's gambling, any more than calling casino games 'poker' or 'craps' is denying that those are gambling. It's a more specific way of saying the game, whereas gambling could be any number of things, like staking.

The "perfect" Smithing update
Here's what smithing can do. Using certain materials, preferably untradable ores that must be mined, you can upgrade existing armors to do a number of different things like boosting defense, boosting strength bonus, or boosting constitution. These are for full sets of armor (helm, plate, legs, and shield), not per piece (so bronze would get +1 str per piece and something like 50 cons for plate, 25 for legs, 10 for helm, and 15 for shield) Levels 1-10 can upgrade armor with 5 def required for +4 str, +5% defense, or +10 constitution Levels 11-20 can upgrade armor with 10 def required for +5 str, +5% def, or +15 constitution Levels 21-30 can upgrade armor with 20 def required for +6 str, +5% def, or +20 constitution Levels 31-40 can upgrade armor with 30 def required for +8 str, +5% def, or +30 constitution Levels 41-50 can upgrade armor with 40 def required for +10 str, +8% def, or +50 constitution Levels 51-85 can upgrade armor with 50-60 def required for +15 str, +10% def, or +70 constitution Levels 85-95 can upgrade armor with 70-75 def required for +20 str, +15% def, or +100 constitution Levels 96-99 can upgrade armor with 80+ def required for +25 str, +20% def, or +200 constitution Note that this is in addition to anything else the armor does, so if you were to upgrade Nex armor and a chaotic kiteshield (keeping in mind the chaotic kiteshield has 80 def required), you would add something to the effect of 100lp to the body, 50 for the legs, 25 for the helm, and 25 to the shield, in addition to whatever other bonuses the armor has. Or you could opt for 10 more str on the body, 7 on the legs, 5 on the shield, and 3 on the helm. Or you could just multiply all of their defensive stats and soak amounts by 20%. Doing each of these things would require some different, difficult to obtain material and would render the armor untradable until you remove it. That would neither devalue boss drops nor be useless. The numbers aren't perfect, but it's something to go off as far as how to make smithing useful and not knock boss hunting out of the running. It would be nice to also have crafting do something similar for ranged and mage armor.

Ranged Weapons at TDs
Yeah, at 95 I can expect to lose an average of one handcannon per hour. Using them also pisses me off because they seem prone to zero streaking, so I tend to prefer Karil's anyway. I get identical kills/hr with either as far as I can tell, and Karil's pisses me off less. Gets shields gone faster, less chance of zero streaking for as long, doesn't blow up.

Ugune Seeds.
Draconics are definitely only herb seeds, but it's common to get other seeds from commons while you hunt them. And to the OP, draconic is your best option for herb seeds. Sometimes they screw you over- one time I did like two and a half hours looking for samaden and one got one seed- but at least you're getting the best hunter exp in the game while you get screwed :P

Halway done with bonus weekend...What else should I do?
For using bonus exp, it's definitely in your interest to do mahogany tables until you run out of bonus exp so you get the most out of it. I just did 90-96 on them.

Is cannon worth using on steel drags?
Are you not killing them in Kuradal's dungeon? And I'm pretty sure Ghorrak is the preferred place to cannon steels, people do it off task for good effigies and elite clues. Not sure why it's better than resource dungeon, I've never done it personally.

Staking advice
Patience. Being in the flashiest outfit doesn't hurt either. At first it feels like you'll never get people playing, but once you get a few they draw in more and after a while you've got a crowd spam trading you every time you finish a game so they can be next. That's my experience anyway. Also, don't get discouraged if you lose a lot- paying out winnings of 1m+ is the best advertisement you can get.
