You do, and I figured it out the hard way... by spending all my money to get to 50 construction and then buying a portal room, and ending up having to finally do dt! :evil:

The actual Ice Troll King, I found was pretty easy. But getting to him was hard. You will find killing 10 ice trolls much more difficult. For the killing 10 ice trolls, I suggest 3 prayer potions and a lot of sharks. That way you can use protection from range to ignore female trolls, and just bash male trolls. There is one male troll farther away from the others that you can attack without becoming "teamed". Return to the bank for supplies before you tackle the king. For the Ice troll king, I suggest taking your best armor for range and melee defence, and bring 2 prayer potions to use protection from magic. Also take a super set, or super defense and combat potion to speed up the fight. Then fill your inventory with sharks, even though you probably won't use too many. (I used 1 shark for the boss battle) Also notice that the ice troll king has a dragon platebody!

To restate/clarify what everyone already said: To get into the highscores for a skill, you must be in the top 1,000,000 (one million) characters in that skill, and you also must be at least level 30 in that skill. So you need more xp than the millionth best person in that skill, or be the first person to have the same amount of xp as the current millionth person.

Well it depends on which butler you have. I suggest using the "butler" butler, because I went very quickly with him, and there was no way that I could go faster with a demon butler. Here's how it goes: 1) Have a bunch of noted oak planks in your inventory. Also have a saw and hammer. Make sure to also bring some money! 50k for every 1k planks is suggested. Then fill up your inventory with random things until you only have 16 space open. (Don't have any un-noted oak planks yet) 2) Use your noted oak planks with your butler. Tell him to unnote 16. He will leave. 3) When your butler returns with your unnoted supplies, take them and then immediately tell him to unnote 16 more. (By using the noted planks with him) 4) Now build a larder, and remove it. Build a larder and remove it. 5) By now, your butler will have returned, and you should repeat steps 3-4. Remember, tell your butler to unnote planks before you use the planks in your inventory! That way he travels to the bank while you build, and when he comes back he is always right next to you, so unless he wanders away really quickly, you will never have to go far to tell him to unnote. Also, If he ever has to be paid, pay him. He will give you your unnoted planks when you talk to him next, so talk to him immediately, and then tell him to unnote more. Exactly, but you can only hit 1's with level 1 strength.

I suggest getting prayer, but make sure that you only get enough to use the +15% range prayer. That way you can also get a little prayer XP from quests.

My best guess is: Half-wine Cracker Pumpkin Blue partyhat ... pumpkin because it was the first rare, so no one knew to save it, and it healed a good amount of hp.

Actually, monsters do have weak attack styles. I don't know the particular weakness of any monster, but they have them.

I agree with Gamerr. That message probably comes up because you can sell some quest items from Shilo Village to Baba Yaga(sp?) in Shilo Village after the quest.

"Barrows" gloves (in the tip.it item DB as gloves(barrows) ) give a +6 magic attack and defence in addition to +12 melee attack, melee defence, ranged attack, ranged defence, and stength bonuses.

The ring of wealth does NOT improve your chances of getting a clue scroll. When at H.A.M.'s wear full H.A.M., it decreases your chance of failing. When I thieve from H.A.M.'s, I get a clue scroll within 10 minutes. You are just having bad luck.

Be careful, when you complete Dragonslayer, you get enough defence XP to get you from around 33-40 defence. And if it's a pure that you are making, unless you want 45 defence for fremennik helms (member's item), then you want exactly 40 defence to wear rune.

Definately range or mage it. I suggest maging with the best bolt spell that you can use.

Can you kill barrow's brothers for a slayer task of ghosts? Also, does crumple undead affect the barrow's brothers?

If you're looking to get the highest defence possible and don't care about the weapon, use a rune longsword because it gives small defence bonuses.

I have no knowledge of the rare market, but I say 2 santas, because red maks probably won't rise twice as fast as santas.

Or you could level up entirely on failed curses, and range for hitpoints. :wink: EDIT: Or you could use a lizard/salamander all the way. I'm pretty sure that there is no base XP for those, and you only get magic XP for the damage that you deal.
