  1. I don't know about the general store, I don't suggest using it unless you are 100+. I suggest selling your whip and buying Karils for use against Ahrim.
  2. Well I started my account sometime between December 27-31, in 2002. I played RuneScape only on weekdays in my mom's classroom before school. (She taught at the school that I went to.) I didn't play very much. I only mined and smithed, and I eventually got my mining to 50 and my smithing to around 40. Then, a few years later, RuneScape 2 came out. It was so cool! Except that it lagged my mom's computer too much to play, and my mom didn't want me to play it on our home computer because "It might download viruses." About a year later I began to play RuneScape again. I trained my range up to 44, which seemed really high at the time. I then quit for about 6 months again. Later, in sixth grade, I met [erk02] in real life. I became his friend. He told me that he played RuneScape. He told me to get members, and so over Winter Break I did. Recently I have trained much harder than in the past, and I am making a lot of progress on my character. I've never been "hacked" because I'm not stupid enough to tell people my password, and I change it frequently enough that people looking over my shoulder don't ever steal my account. I also don't have any offenses.
  3. I saw somewhere on the TIF that a pentagon was the best formation.
  4. No, with PC it would be easy
  5. I've heard people say that selling cannonballs is hard, but I don't really understand why. In theory it is, a lot of sellers but few buyers, but whenever I've sold cannonballs it took less than 5 minutes to find a buyer. Just post on the official forums, and sell for 5 gp each under what everyone else is.
  6. Well, If 8k Fire Strikes will take you 5 hours, then 22k will take you roughly 13 Hours, 10 Minutes. You would have 8 Extra hours that could be used: a.) Training Combat b.) Merchanting c.) Having Real Life d.) Another Non-Combat skill. Take a second to think about that. Exactly, plus you can probably get airs for less than 20 ea, thus spending less money on the fire strikes.
  7. Good job on 50m experience! Now get 60m by training firemaking and woodcutting to 99! :P
  8. It was confusing for me to find the right cave to enter too. You need to go farther north, over an ice bridge to a more northern island that is covered in snow. Then you go to the eastern-most cave and enter it.
  9. Color changes? Am I mistaken, or does only the Dagganoth Queen, the boss monster of Horror From the Deep, change colors? I believe that normal Dagganoths don't change colors.
  10. Wow, so that's why they took him out. I only ever got him once, and all I got was a measly banana... :( Btw, I reported this thread to get it moved to the Clues, clues, clues (and random events) forum,
  11. 1k: Mine fourteen bronze and tin in Varrock. Walk to Lumbridge to smelt. Walk back to Varrock and make short swords. Sell to sword shop. Repeat. 100k: Level 2 clue scrolls. 1m: After getting 500k from a clue scroll where I got an orange boater (this was when they had just come out) I merchanted laws and dds's up to 1m.

  14. Kill count DOES help get items, personally I always get 21.
  15. Some people like battleaxes because their slow speed is counter-balanced with a strong attack and strength bonus, and they can use a crush attack which hits easier on plate mail. I myself prefer scimitar, however.
  16. And the Xp from one Tears of Guthix game will count towards the Xp needed for the next game. :
  17. Trolls would be excellent training, and the drops will definately pay for the cost to repair barrows armor. You might need food every once in a while, though.
  18. I've seen guards drop them a lot, try guards.
  19. Bows don't weigh very much, using a bow won't slow you down at all. In fact, the high range bonus that you get from a bow will make using a bow faster than using knives.
  20. Buy willow logs for 25-30 each, and fletch them into willow longbows (u). Then note them all and sell them as fast as possible to trawler merchants, who will pay 24 gp each minimum.
  21. a lot of ppl have tested it and it seems to not work the click rock when it is about to hit works, from lvl 20 to 40 mining i would beat most rune pickers f2p. I have tried with the rune pick tho, and it doesn't seem to work the same.) Well the lucky rabbit's foot most certainly DOES increase your chances of getting nests. Why would Jagex lie? Even if it increases the chance from one in 20 loads to 1 in 19.5 loads, it still raises the chance a little.
  22. ^ That would actually increase the supply of robin sets and hence reduce the price.. NOT increase it as you seem to suggest... Yea, as I read Mordendravid's post, I loled in real life because he got it wrong... I didn't know that ranger set went up that much! Too bad I wasn't able to afford one when they were cheap.
  23. None, unless you get a tunnel Karil, when you should use 1 or two doses.
  24. Well, I only know the prices over Steam, it might be more in stores. Yes, you can get any of these games in stores, but they might be hard to find. You could also get them from Amazon.com, but I suggest that you just get them with steam. If you don't have Steam, get it from SteamPowered.com. That is also where you can order Steam games. Prices from SteamPowered.com: CS:S (alone): $20 Source multiplayer pack (CS:S, DoD:S, HL2:DM): $30 CS:1.6 pack (CS:1.6, CS:CZ, CZ Deleted Scenes): $10
  25. I like CS:1.6 more, because it requires more skill than CS:S. But I like having CS:S because it means that I can get Source Mods, like Source Forts, and I can make my own maps.
