Just a little thing I wrote when I was bored and had some ideas while taking a shower. I wrote it like 4-5 months ago in a single 30 minute sitting and have been passing it around to friends and such. There are a lot things I could change, but as per my regular approach to writing I never came back to it to polish it up or rewrite sections I thought were weak since if I started doing so, I adjust it to the point of mangling the story. Dawn The moon. The whole land basks in its light, for the strength of the moon's light is not matched at night. I know the truth. The moon's might is not its own, for it steals light from the sun. With no one to stand up to it, it holds its grasp over the land. But it has been night for too long now. It is time for the sun to rise and take back the place that was stripped from it. ------------------------------------ March 10th They've come! My heart has been filled with dread since I first caught wind of it, but I hoped that we would have had more time. The king's men have stormed through all of the homes and I fear we are next. I could hear the faint screams from John's farm, cut short no doubt by the cruel brutes that serve that wretch of a king. Why I must ask, why now? That's not really true. In most cases if you're going for pure slaying speed, prayer bonus is only really needed to prolong your time at a task while using prayer potions so that you don't need to bank again. If you can complete a task without the extra prayer bonus, then a cape like SW isn't necessary and the str bonus from the fire cape is a pretty good bonus. OT, the other things you need are turmoil and a chaotic rapier, but I'd just wait for Quyneax to post her universal slayer equipment response.

And on a further point, if you don't have 75 crafting yourself, you can find someone who does and also have the ability unlocked to assist you (Both players must have ability unlocked)

See you can hold off on when you do herblore, but farming runs are done multiple times each day to gain benefit.

Well rune full, rune zerker shield, rune gaunts, and then rune scim/g2h and I think you would be fine.

still, only 1 pray point per kill? Only at very weak things this is enough (and these things are generally bad since you have to click too much) And you've got to calculate the time burying (though this could maybe be neglected, you also gain pray xp meanwhile). I think zombies in the SoS wouldn't be a bad choice. Large number of them, aren't super popular, and easy to kill. 10% str pray, which would probably be the best prayer to use, drains at 1 pnt per 8 or so seconds using a power ammy and monk top and bottom. I think anyone with decent stats should be able to sustain that easily. The hill giants in the resource dungeon are sometimes uncrowded, so you could probably get away with 15% str there.

Yep. It's never been a really a super valuable herb as the potions give mediocre xp and the potions aren't in high demand, which means it was probably manipped a bit and skewed the spreadsheets. Snaps, ranarrs, and avants are always in demand because they actually go toward useful potions people make and use in large quantities.

Use up supplies and then spam the scrolls like crazy. You could also just try to start the fight by spamming the scrolls at him and forgo the tort completely, but you may run out of supplies by the very end, which would suck. There are some videos on people using the tactic.

The problem with Karils is that a death would result in you having to repair the armour. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't cost that much, but it's definitely a hassle to go to your house each time and if you end up dying to him a lot (which is very possible) then it adds up. Try to get your hands on some armadyl armour, be it borrowing or just buying it temporarily and then selling it back to the GE. I'd imagine the soak would be useful for some of the attacks Nomad uses. I'd also suggest some Kyatt ambush scroll spam as I've heard it's very effective. A darklight/bgs spec whenever you have the spec energy might also be helpful.

As a rune pure, you'll probably need a lot closer to 90 str/90 ranged to do well. Gravite 2h also can't hurt.

That's over 150k profit for 5 minutes of work every hour and a half. I do farming runs all the time without juju potions or a scroll of life. By your logic, a better method then that would have to earn 150k or more per 5 minutes, or, 4.5M an hour. Stop being ignorant. 1 hour = 12 herb runs worth of time 150k * 12 = 1.8 M. Still worth it imo since it's a nice break from slaying, which on the whole isn't that profitable, and is a very stable source of income.

Can you add the option to shift all current items on the map in a direction? If you're doing a large, you can only guess where your starting room is relative to the layout to whole dungeon, so if it ends up that you need to expand in a direction you don't have boxes for, it becomes a real pain to transpose everything yourself.

well granite shield 5 melee and 10 ranged absorb so ... it will become a cheaper obby shield alternative :lol: ? The granite shield was always a cheaper alternative to the obby shield. The only think that made the obby shield better was the strength bonus, and not too many people used the shield over a rune defender for strength bonus. To me, the shields are primarily used for range tanking anyway as they both have pretty high ranged def along with now a decent soak.

Should cost roughly 50-65 million doing conventional potions or could be free/profitable with herb cleaning. Check out Grimy_Bunyip's sheets on best potions to do.

What are you planting/what patches are you using?

Juju pots are really only necessary with torstol. You still profit a lot on most herbs without it. And the scroll of life only effectively reduces seed costs by 10%. To say that he shouldn't do any farm runs at all without either one is a little outrageous. OT, do avantoe/ranarr herb runs.

I've slayer darted with reasonable accuracy the brothers in full prossy before. I suggest just going for a high prayer set up with slight bonuses to magic. Prossy or initiate if you have access would work.

I agree with this, though it may simply be aversion to change. Also, either I haven't had a max hit splat yet (using ks specs), or they show up for the highest 20% of your hits, or I'm all wrong. Can someone enlighten me? Max hits show up whenever you hit something >= your max with your current stats/gear, so like an AGS or Korasi's spec like you tried. It appears as a ovalish orange splat. Have you gotten on of those? I dunno what you could be doing wrong otherwise. I managed to land one in with some DDS specs on the mini orks at bork. However, when I trained ranged with my pure on F2P for about an hour, I didn't hit a single max splat, so I'm not sure what's going on tehre.

Does a rune pure count as a pure to you?
