  1. 20GP profit sounds good to me :
  2. Essentially really cheap resources that require almost no effort to get. Just finish a quest or two, pop in some money, get your favour up, and then you've got a good amount of resources flowing in everyday. The swordfish and half the tuna I get from MTK more than covers the 75K a day it takes, and the extra 200ish coal and all the random gems and caskets are pretty much gravy on top :
  3. At least it won't lose me money. 200 coal a day will last me a while.
  4. Unless the coal I use is from MTK :
  5. Ah ok cool. How do mithril bolts actually sell these days?
  6. If you've done As a First Resort, the infinite run spa can get you a good amount of tokens at the shotput arena.
  7. Well I guess I'll be making a trip to the BF pretty soon. I plan on using the coal from MTK, so I think profit will be guaranteed. How do mithril and steel bolts sell right now? Flighting bolts seems to be another ok profit option.
  8. I've seen a few saying that smithing mithril bolts will actually profit, but how can this be at all if bolts sell for 75 ea after being fletched and the bars themselves are 1.1k? Right now, I'm at 55 fletching doing maple longs, but I'm looking for a method that actually profits and doesn't create a huge amount of junk I can't use until I get get my hands on something worth lending/selling.

Penguin points you say eh...maybe I should start hunting those...

^Not true. They sold in 5 mins for me at med. Made a cool 500k  Ahh I see. You make a good point, rex. By using a few of my rarer charms, I make all of the charms I have a greater abundance of worth a lot more. Anyone have more suggestions for what to make then?

Alot of people said that I should use my golds for lower leveled summoning and then use my blues for higher up since they're so efficient and give so much xp. It seems like a waste to use them at such low levels.

I've got a good number of them from playing Tai Bwo Wannai clean up (Sorta random and interesting, lots of diverse rewards, not much attention needed  ). Question is, should I use them for actual summoning or sell them and buy other tertiaries for different pouches? I highly doubt their 45ish xp justifies the 3K that they're worth. What sort of pouch would be more efficient at 39 summoning?
  13. Battlestaves are probably the most cost efficient. Just buy as many as you can from Zaff with your Varrock armour, buy as many from the GE, and then buy/enchant some orbs. Generally you can profit by a bit, but the real hurdle is actually acquiring large numbers of staffs. For pure speed, dragon hides /w SC needles.
  14. Well extra prayer points are always useful. I think he was suggesting that he go pray instead of just tanking. BTW, anyone know where relatively uncrowded areas are good? I've heard the Eyre is not bad, but what is that exactly? Is that the boss chamber?
  15. Hmmm interesting thanks. Sorta annoying that it's not a specified time of day, but oh well. BTW, anyone know if cooked tuna sells well?
  16. You should at the very least get it up to 55. Slayer dart and broad bolts are really good and cost effective. Otherwise, chaos druids aren't bad, but I've also found cave crawlers to be not bad either.
  17. What about MTK?
  18. At what time do things like Bert's sand, Arhein's stock, battlestaves, lummy ring recharge, etc get reset by the RS server? GMT is fine.
  19. You'll get more salmon in general, but probably never more salmon than trout. Like already said, even at 70ish fishing, your inventory is still like 2/3 trout.
  20. Unlike some of the other quest guides, the guide for Legends lacks a step by step separation for the items you need for a particular part of the quest (Ex. In Aid of the Myreque). This quest is rather long and difficult and makes use of many items. It would help if these little simple, but very informational blocks were included. [Crew edit: good point, moving your post from Website Discussion forum to Quests subforum of Website Updates. Adding in Banking Stops would probably be a good start.]
  21. Well my friend recently got a visage (Lucky guy...) and then spent the next week switching back and forth between the BGS and DFS since they're roughly the same price. He couldn't determine which one he liked better is still switching back and forth. This would suggest that these weapons are both highly specialized for certain uses, or my friend is just a compulsive equipment switcher  This is what he's told me: BGS -good for monster hunting and a decent KO weapon in PVP -he likes the high hits -makes you feel awesome DFS -best thing for hunting drags, discharged blasts speed things along -seems overall that it's not worth it, but still is a fine addition to anyone's kit -also looks awesome
  22. Tip.it Combat calc says that you can get another 11 mage levels before your cb level goes up. If you curse you won't get HP xp.
  23. The only reason I charged the orbs myself was because it gave a spot of magic xp and it saved roughly 500GP per orb. Should I charge air orbs once I hit 66?
  24. I personally make all of my orbs for the extra crafting xp and use my own runes to charge the orbs. However, I'm one level away from 62 and then I'll start being able to do fire battlestaves instead of earth ones. However, the fire obelisk is much more out of the way compared to the earth one. So should I: Just stick to earth battlestaves Do fire ones, but buy my orbs
  25. No, at least I don't think so. Yield is only affected by compost/super compost and whether or not you use magic secateurs/amulet of nature. Otherwise it's just random. Your farming level only determines what you can grow.
