I thought that the drop potential affected by cash capped at 25K for F2P servers and risking more than that wouldn't matter. Yes, it would save 25K, but that's no where near the amounts for a phat.

Hey, don't trash the bone bolts. They're the most cost-effective ammo in the game, but can still hit a respectable 17 at 80 ranged. Yes, quite a bit less than broads, but much still much cheaper. About 20x cheaper.

Broad=Adamant I personally would use Zanik's bow on any monster that doesn't give a good return in drops. If you get a bad task where there aren't any good drops, use the stupidly cheap bone bolts. It's more effective than most people think :

If anything, charter ships aren't that readily accessible to that many places and atop of that there's the cost, even with the ring of charos and cabin fever. I guess it could still be debated which is the most efficient, money aside. However, whether or not a person should unlock fairy rings isn't. It's just something that everyone should do ASAP.

So far, castlewars3 has come to closest to actually addressing my question. I appreciate everyone's replies, but really I think the main idea of my post has been missed. I asked whether or not I should be slaying in SW on pyrefiend/jelly tasks so I could gain xp and zeal at the same time. The problem I saw with it was the potential to be killed during the game, affecting possible rates of xp. So far CW3 is the only one to suggest that I should go ahead and do so. And purewcnub as most have said, you telling me that I shouldn't train slayer doesn't help with my question at all. Yes, I have read compfreak's rant and in much detail, but I slay to: 1. Get better equipment. Super cheap and powerful broad bolts, accurate and cost efficient slayer dart, and the LBS as a cheap stabbing weapon. Many would say these are very good weapons additions to anyone's arsenal. 2. For diaries and quests and such. The Falador 3 shield is one of my long standing goals as it looks so awesome and has equally awesome benefits. It requires 72 slay. 3. Variety is the spice of life.

For the record, dragon boots offer no ranged defence.

I'm doing the fast points method so I get quite a few pyrefiend tasks from Mazchna. Would it be a good idea to slay them in Soul Wars and gain some zeal while I'm at it or would full on slaying be the better choice since I wouldn't be attacked?

Sapphire necklaces if enchanted sell for a decent profit. But if you're going emmy rings, then good luck.

Anyone know what the actual method for crafting laws through the abyss is? Set ups? What sort of tools should you bring?

Sadly a great deal of people feel the same way as he does and thus level 30s are ranked 300-400k on the HS tables. I really want that terrorbird. It seems like such an incredibly useful familiar yet cheap to use. But yes, regular combat will net you a great deal of charms. You don't have to actively go and get the charms, just sit back and relax and wait until you've got a large stockpile to start training with. And when push comes to shove, there's always ToG and Penguins \

Yeah, F2P would be much easier. Avoid all those nasty d claw specs and ancient spells ripping you up a new one. Anyone know if the number of charges your opponent gets as well as the level difference affects your token output?

Not unless you get a string of dragon weapons. Rune armour is no slouch and stand its own even against a dragon battle axe or 2h. Dragon weapons wouldn't make a terribly huge difference. It could see them being potentially used for a KO if it was a hard hitter like a 2H.

Generally, people who play WoW are looked down upon. RS is looked to be the cheap and even lamer version of WoW. I can see why people would ridicule you. I avoid it if it's not necessary. People ask me what I play on my comp, I say MMOs, FPSs, and RTSs and end it there. If they ask what MMOs, I say "fun ones" :roll: But I'll admit to playing RS in the end.

I thought you were exposed to summation when sequences and series are taught, which is roughly 10th or 11th grade :-k But anyway, the formula seems to be pretty accurate and is probably the basis on which Jagex uses. I wonder how someone would work that out though.

The change was actually mentioned in the patch notes posted yesterday on the RSOF.

If you had about 10 more defence and 15 more ranged aviansies would be more effective, but for the time being, green dragons would be more suitable.
