Crushing Weapon
I know this thread was from a while ago, but I've learned more about the world of membs since the and have gathered a little bit more of an outlook on things. So let's compare some of the weapons: Obby Maul: If I were to use it with the necklace, my accuracy would drop a considerable amount, but I would have a ridiculously high hit. This might be my choice for a KO weapon during important boss fights (Could have used it during that stupid haunted mine quest -.- ) or PVP like everyone else does. However, it's terribly slow. Granite Maul: A slightly weaker version of the obby maul. I won't have the crazy 20% bonus to dmg with the obby maul, but this has a deadly spec. I'm still leaning towards the obby maul though. Anyone got comments that would suggest otherwise? Slightly cheaper too. Verac's Flail: A very decent weapon. A very high bonus, a mediocre str bonus, and nifty prayer bonus. Very cheap. Zammy Spear: I'm torn between this weapon and the flail. The spear is a bit faster and as a tiny bit more str, but the flail has a considerably higher crush bonus. This also has the added bonus of defence in most areas. Very expensive for my standards (I've got about 200K right now). I think the flail wins out for now. Anchor: I don't have the required quests, but it seems like quite an attractive option. Massive crush bonus and str bonus while still being faster than either maul. Sorta expensive to replace and crazy heavy. For now, I'm thinking of the flail for my crushing weapon while the granite or obby maul is my KO-PVP-Boss fight weapon. The flail has a good combination speed, crush bonus, and strength while still not breaking the bank. Any other suggestions?

Bank Picture...
As it hasn't been mentioned, when you have a full view of what you want to take a picture of, press the "PrintScreen" Button on your keyboard, typically located near the Insert, Home, Page Up etc keys. Then open up something like MS paint and paste it (Ctrl+v or simply right click paste)

Haunted Mine Quest
For the record, if you kill it and then die, you don't have to kill it again. Might be a useful sidenote for the quest guide.

Dscim Vs. Whip Pricewise
Ok ok Penny, I think we've all established that he was wrong. He's thrown some insults but then admitted to it. I think we can all let it go now and have a mod/admin close this thread.

Info on different money-making methods: Cash per hour?
Can I ask what the oak planks method is? Is that simply taking the logs to the sawmill yourself or using the spell?

Slayer Sucks
Another quality post by compfreak. I'm surprised I haven't happened upon this thread before. What I like about slaying is that it gives access to new equipment and that's probably the best thing about it. So really past level 55, the only incentives to train slayer for me are whips and the fally 3 shield. Slayer dart runes are also pretty nice I have to admit.

Haunted Mine Quest
Well I hope that's the case. I'm sure I dropped that bloody ghost

Range Training
If you haven't already, do Lost Tribe and then Death to the Dorgeshuun for the bone c bow + spec. It's an amazing weapon, arguably the cheapest ranged weapon to maintain while still hitting harder than like steel bolts. 3 GP per bolt, half the cost of even bronze arrows  As for spots, moss giants aren't bad wherever you find them. Even at your level, fire giants in the waterfall dungeon are viable. Do the quest and watch the rune scimitars drop.

Haunted Mine Quest
So I was on the final boss fight and was about to land a KO when a crane swung around and smacked me in the face followed by a pickaxe (Ring of Life didn't save me -.- ) Thing is, it did die just as I was dying (I hit a 29 with ranged, highest I've ever done : At the cost of losing this fight and thus two pieces of void... :( ) My new inven will probably consist of pineapple pizzas instead of swordies, 1 pray pot, and I'll still use r cbow with broads, but this time with much less costly black d hide. After all, I did end up killing the boss, just with 21 HP left and during the running around, I was a bit careless and let a mine cart drag me around for about 40 dmg. Of course, only if I have to fight again will I bring this inventory. Otherwise, I'll bring nothing and just run in to save energy. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had done this quest before and ever happened upon this scenario where they made the killing hit, but died before they could continue the quest. Do I have do the boss fight again or can I just pick the key up this time?

Best way to make money with 75 range/41 def?
Fire giants are always a viable option. The waterfall has nice safespots and the giants have pitifully low defence. If you don't have 55 slayer, get that right away while training ranged. Broad bolts + r cbow is GODLY. I hit 25s with no pray or void, around 30 with at 78 ranged \

Which Slayer Master
If you've done Smoking Kills, I'd say alternate with 9 Maz and then 1 Chaeldar task (Sumona when you hit 85.) Really fast points. I got my slayer helmet after my 50th. It'll probably take you to 60 maybe even 70, but it's certainly faster than just doing Chaeldar. Points are good the for helm, slay dart runes, and blocking and skipping those annoying tasks

Is the time getting void range worth it?
Very interesting analysis who_am_i. However, I typically net around 200-300 zeal per game (With just a bone cbow) simply because people don't kill freaking spinners. But yes, overall void isn't worth it for only ranged. However, if you're going to raise any melee stat with it, then it becomes more and more worthwhile. Also like you mentioned, a good strong clan will reduce the number of games by a ridiculous amount. It will more than halve the number of games you play if you're going from novice to veteran (Because you'll lose a lot less)

Is 99 ranged a wise investment?
You do have full Armadyl and a few blessed D-hides right? If not, those could be some things you could get.

Nje03's Pictorial Guide to Superheating Adamantite
I think the use of the word "Withdraw" would be better than "Remove". For a good 10 seconds I was like "??? Remove? Like Drop? What?" and only then realized that you meant withdraw

Is the time getting void range worth it?
It's also not like you won't be getting any ranged xp at all during PC. While the wait times and higher defence monsters as well as the halved xp will cut your xp in-game to probably about 2/5s, you're still getting a sum of cash as well as those valuable PC points.

What axe is this?
There are some evil trees out there though

Cheap/Profitable Ranged Training
The problem with knives and yaks is that you would need to keep a good amount of the hides and such to recover the cost of the broken knives. That leads to more bank runs or lost money if you decide to power train. My personal favorites are fire giants. I didn't train on them long, but I noticed that in comparison to some of my other slayer tasks and when I played PC (and I was using eagle eye the entire time), I hit my max hit or something close to it ridiculously often. They have pitifully weak defence and decent drops. I got 3 rune scims in one run. Not too bad I'd say.

runescape website in 2004
What do we think? I know I think this: It's good for that sweet sense of nostalgia, but I'd rather have the new one for all of its pretty colours and neat artwork.

Lunar Diplomacy
The staff is also a cooler looking alternative to the Dramen staff when using fairy rings \

lvl 50 range, where to train what to use
Steel darts on slayer? Cheapness and variety.

Explorer ring question
I'm pretty sure you can still do lummy diary 3. The d slayer part of the diary is that you just get the shield from Horacio, not actually kill Elvarg. You just need a good number of qps. I'm not sure how many F2P quests give cb xp though, which would be undesirable for you.

Range training...
I personally use steel darts on slayer tasks. Steel darts theoretically should be stronger than at least bronze knives, are cheaper than iron knives, and have a slightly higher ranged bonus than both

getting 99 range
Blue dragons in general can be sorta out of the way and far from a bank (Is the enclave further or closer than Taverly?) Bank runs will be pretty frequent if you want to bank your hides and bones. Fire giants are still a good choice imo. Decent alchable drops (Yay r scimmy  ), lots of safespots, close to Barbarian outpost (Waterfall dungeon at least), and they've got super low defence.

Brimhaven agility tokens?
Wait so is it even worth training at the Brim arena? Do the tickets and the end 1000 ticket trade in make up for the lower overall rates of XP during the game?
