  1. Definitely go with SC hams to save money. If you use the blast furnace, smithing mith bolts is actually profitable, even if you fletch.
  2. Or simply not even raise con and just go to a house party \
  3. If only it didn't take roughly 17 hours to get 1k tickets...

If you're lucky, you could find some really desperate runecrafter who RC'd a whole boat load of fires and would be willing to sell the runes for cheap. I managed to find a guy who sold 24k of them for about 3 GP : You could take all of this extra tokkul and use it with your other 50k to get the onyx stone.
  5. I used an interesting little technique: Set yourself up so that the knight (any of them) is standing in front of a dummy and you're in position to move in between two dummies to the safe spot. After a little while, like when your HP bar vanishes, click to attack but get ready to immediately go back into the spot. If you do it properly, you should be able to step out, attack once, and then go back in without the knight touching you. However, you must use a relatively fast weapon. I tried it with a barrelchest and it didn't work (the knight still got a hit in), but a whip or DD works fine. Just max out your attack and str the best you can and you'll do fine.

That doesn't actually use up the buckets, does it?

I've got about 1K of them from making glass using the sand Bert gives me. Are there any uses for them? I've already filled up 510 of them with compost and supercompost and I don't plan on selling either one.
  8. There are also a good number of quests that give construction xp that could send you on your way. Perils of Ice Mountain and the Eyes of Glouphrie are examples.
  9. You will keep all items, F2P or P2P. You will be able to access all F2P items. However, if you do not have multiples, you will not be able to put it back in. Nothing can be done with member items other than put back in if you have multiples or dropped.
  10. I personally like it a lot. I already loved the dorg c'bow as my favourite economical training weapon, but this is more accurate and has a spec! It's simply wonderful.
  11. I suggest hacking the light jungle and then just dropping all the spars. It's much more efficient and you don't waste time. You have a higher chance of actually finding good stuff in light jungle and clearing jungle is faster than most other methods (Killing tribesmen is faster, but that's lame  )
  12. If the account near your avatar is the one you're using, you've got some serious training to do. To be even ranked on the HS tables, you need at least 49 ranged and you're not ranked. Kills would be really really slow and costly for you as you wouldn't be able to use even blessed d'hide or a rune c'bow. I highly suggest you get ranged to at least 60, prayer a little bit higher, and if you're planning on tanking, 70 defence. Fire giants, however, would be totally doable at your level
  13. I think you should keep your granite shield over having the unholy book. You're losing a whopping 65 ranged defence.
  14. Well obviously the themed world is going to have more people running it. I've managed to go a full 500 bars of mithril without having to work on the furnace for more than 5 mins. But if my math is correct: 174 x 2 = 348 (Coal) 217 (Mithril) 3GP (Feather) Cost: 568 GP 10 x 76 GP (Bolts) = 760 GP I suggest you put some of your workers in MTK on coal to increase your profit margins. That's at least what I do.
  15. So you have a dump load of coal and mithril, eh? Sounds like the perfect set up for the blast furnace on World 58! Read up on the RSKB guide as well as the Tip.it Guide to get a feel for how it works. This is what I bring and how I personally do it: Setup -126GP for every mithril ore you intend on smithing, but I'd bring a little more just to be safe -A 1:2 ratio of mithril to coal all in noted form -Varrock Armour (Get one if you don't - it's super useful for things other than smithing!) -1-2 SC Hammers 1. Load up 200 coal into the furnace by unnoting the coal on Ordan (Use Notes->Ordan). 2. Load up 20 mithril. 3. Get a bucket and fill it with water 4. Work one of the jobs for awhile until your bars come out. Once they have, unnote another 20 mithril ore and put them onto the conveyor belt. Immediately go and grab your bars, using the water if needed. If you used the water, refill it. 5. Go smith your bars. 6. By the time you're done smithing your bars, the mithril you already put in should have already been processed by others working the furnace (Yes, lots of people dislike you for not helping to run the furnace constantly, but that's irrelevant  ). Unnote again, put on the conveyor, take bars. Rinse and repeat. The obvious advantage to using the blast furnace is the halved coal. I make roughly 200GP per bar by making bolts and then flighting them.
  16. 10 Fish will guarantee you make your money back. Flax, if then subsequently spun, will net you the greatest consistent profit. But like bladewing said, maples have the potential to be higher. Once I got 2 maple seeds, giving me a cool 60K. The other times I got apple seeds and acorns.
  17. I typically fletch some bows, blow some glass, or add some pineapples to pizzas while I wait for my energy to recharge. This makes sure I'm running all the way and I'm not wasting energy standing still to do those tasks anyway.
  18. While I haven't done a timed run myself, I estimate that a full load takes about a minute and 30 secs to 2 mins to complete (It's a pretty slow spell) and the travel from Draynor bank is about a minute. So that's roughly 400-500 orbs an hour. An orb + 3 cosmics is about 751 and they sell for 1221. That's a profit of 470 per orb. You're looking at around 190-240K an hour. It's certainly a different approach to training magic. While it is slower, you are almost guaranteed a profit opposed to alching. It also requires a little less attention.
  19. Does anyone have an estimate as to how long it would take to find all the penguins you can for the week? Less than an hour? Anyway, I'm personally growing a ton of irit. The seeds are dirt cheap so even if the plant dies, you don't lose much. Attack potions all the way. You could try this with avantoe seeds, but they're like 3x the price.
  20. If they did, it'd be a 1/10000 drop from the Corp beast :
  21. I just realized that like 2 secs after I posted and I reread your OP lol. But yes, EExcalibur is only one that's really worthwhile. 120 daily flax isn't bad though
  22. Although you've probably done it already, the lummy ring has to be my favourite ring. Unlimited teleports to the Dray cabbage patch, 30 low alchs a day (Good for random finds or low monster drops), 150 run energy, and +1 magic and pray. The top level Falador shield gives the best prayer bonus in the game for a shield and restores pray to max once a day.
  23. If you're talking about me, that's how I've been doing it for awhile and how I personally got from 61 crafting to the level 67 I am now.
  24. Well when you think about it, inside a bank is where a lot of the autoing that Jagex wants to stop occurs. I got one in front of the RFD chest and one in front of the Lummy bank. I don't mind though since I like any of the costume rewards. Going for three sets of them all!
  25. Would you be willing to share this source, Wachtwoord? I seems like invaluable information for an RCer.
