The prayer tutor would probably be one of the more efficient ways for an F2P player to raise prayer. And quick question, why is the fungi still maintaining its value? Wasn't its main use in super energy pots made pointless with the energy update?

Check out the RSOF too. That TIF thread is actually rarely looked at. You don't have to be a member to use the RSOF. You can just browse for posts and then randomly add people asking if they've done it. That's what I did for heroes.

Quick question, but what exactly is a zerker? Is it someone who uses the zerker helm or the necklace with obby weps? Little out of the PVP scene...

Use them as junk. The money that you get from junk trades will let you buy much more efficient items, such as bronze bolts. People selling anything but bronze bolts are ripping you off.

Don't bring the RoW as suggested as numerous people have attested to its negative effect on addy bar drops. Archer ring would probably be a better choice.

You could have made it in 2004. That was the year of the transition, but just after the ears and the scythe.

Verac's flail and Torag's hammers are "decent" for fighting things that require crush, such as waterfiends, but outside of Dharok's axe or Guthan's spear with their respective sets, there isn't much reason to get a Barrows weapon.

You can ask the person you sells them to you to uncharge the items for you. I'm not sure if you just speak to him or use the items on him, but there definitely is the option to do so built in. As for F2P uses, I'd get a set of combat robes for personal use if you're into magic, the RC gloves if you want to RC (Earth gloves give the best F2P xp outside of world 16 crafting), or do as KingJoe said.

Quick question: At what point does one have to have the RoW on to actually increase their chances of a better drop? Does one necessarily have to have it on at the very start of the fight? Perhaps it activates as long has you have had it on during the fight. That would mean you would simply have to engage in combat and swap rings. Granted this would take up an extra inventory space, but it's just a thought I'd like to throw out there.

Steel Skin: Increases defence by 15% Mystic Might: Increases your Magic by 15% Which do you think would be better DEFENCE against Magic.. Better yet if you can do Mystic Might mosewell use Protect from Magic :roll: If anything, defence would be less beneficial. It's openly stated that your defence against magic is based 70% on your mage level and only 30% in regards to your defence level. We're just trying to figure out whether or not the pray boosts your actual level, or works as just an accuracy bonus. I'm guessing the only way to know would be to test it out.

1. Get a full inventory of essence (Pouches are optional). Equip your tiara and the company robes (Not sure what they are or if people care anymore). If you're going to the altar by abyss, bring necessary items (Axe, pick, etc) 2. Get to the altar however you like, be it abyss, Graahk, or walking. 3. Find someone who is willing to assist. They usually call it out. If not, call out yourself that you have essence. For an extra precaution, look up the person in the HS tables to make sure they're 91 RC 4. Req assist from them. Craft your runes, bank, repeat.

I suppose I could go and do that. Should probably upgrade to the best gravestone though and read up on gravestone mechanics. At what level ranged would roach workers be viable?

It's a level 20 account, but only has 15 ranged.

They're a little strong for my taste, but yes I suppose they would be a guaranteed source of runes.

What would be the a reliable source of runes for a mid-low level F2P player? I'm eying dark wizards or regular wizards ATM since they also drop valuable tallys and robes.

Cut Opals and Jades can be traded to Gabooty for a number of trading sticks that amount to a value worth more than the gem itself. Two things I'm not sure about: 1. If he buys noted 2. If the amount of sticks you gets lowers with stock I'm confident that the sticks you get isn't dependent on stock, but I'd check to make sure.

Darn it. That would have been the meanest anti-pure technique out there. Guess I'll have to find other ways to be devious.

1. If your attack level is just at 40, enough to use a rune scimitar, if it falls under that due to something like beer or say confuse, can you no longer use the rune scimitar? 2. How high of a magic bonus must you maintain to keep a reasonable amount of magic accuracy? Let's say I'm level 30 mage.

Yeah your stats look fine. I killed him with an even lower mage level and only use wind bolt with chaos gloves (I hear lower level spells are more accurate) Otherwise, just make sure you're out of melee range while you're attacking him and use melee protect, but don't safespot. As for food, I suggest you bring pizzas as they're cheap by comparison and heal a nice amount. Get a mage potion if you want to be a little more accurate.

Wrongo. DFS is garbage. Utter and complete garbage. It is an incredibly effective way to waste 15 million GP on an essentially useless item. For basically any melee situation, rune defender is better. For basically any range situation, blessed spirit shield is better. Saves around 13m, has no negative range, and gives +3 prayer. The defenses differ by about 20 or so. Yeah, LQ is a req for other big quests that most players will want to have completed. The dungeon also has some monsters worth training on. The DFS is only good for meleeing dragons. It's not COMPLETELY garbage. Just pretty close. The blessed SS is good for tanking situations only, otherwise the Zammy or perhaps Guthix book is more suited to ranging. However, the D square doesn't have that bad of a neg range bonus (just -2) and is good if you're really poor and can't even afford the blessed SS.

Thanks for your answers everyone! I guess that first lamp will go to RC. I completely forgot about Knight's Sword :roll: Those 2 lamps from went to prayer, as I'm becoming a lvl 13 pray pure. I guess that extra 208 xp is coming from bones.
