Other than super energy pots, which are almost obsolete, are there any uses for fungi anymore? Believe me, I really want to get rid of all the avantoe I've got stockpiled and get some herb xp, but it seems like simply selling them off and doing super attacks would be better.

I highly disagree about the agility bit. While crossing those partially worn away bridges, I failed so often it was remarkably annoying. I had about 50 agil at the time. However, once I used a summer pie, I crossed all of the bridges in one go without a hitch. It may just be luck, but I'm sure having that boosted agility helped a lot.

Exactly, just as ross said earlier. Junk is only created as a by-product of skills like fletching (The main one really). Other than that and getting traded junk, you shouldn't get any.

That has any sort of defence. Otherwise, bronze knives or my own personal favourite, steel darts, would be preferable for the speed bonus.

If money isn't an issue, then just switch it up to fire strike and hit the fire mage. What's your mage level? Once you hit bolt spells, I suggest you auto fail cast in FoG

You mean the first chestplate to give a strength bonus... It's honestly not that much of a step up from rune. It's only advantage is in slash, but there are a fair number of monsters that use crush and a few that use stab, making rune much more versatile. Penance gloves are about the only item I got from this game. They're the only practical item to get.

Thanks mrpadre, that alch rate better reinforces the figures I currently have. My speculation of a 2.4 autocasting time seemed to be correct. However, nothing beats pure empirical data. I suppose that's a good insight for superglass. That's good work. I suggest you used a Tbird and that's what most people are able to use. When I did my runs a while back, I had a full inven, dropped one, swapped charged orbs for uncharged orbs with my familiar, picked up my orb again, and charged. Not sure if this is really the most efficient way.

Correct. You also don't get logged out while in combat. This little method of training is why mind runes sell for their maximum price now, whereas previously they wouldn't sell for minimum. Most people doing it are AFK, but some aren't as it isn't very expensive training, and is actually decent for those with poor internet connections. The smart ones of the bunch actually fire strike their targets, but the ones who are a little bit slow use wind strike. You gain well over 35k experience per night with fire strike. It's over 10k experience per hour without a doubt, so that's at least 70-90k/night. It is against the rules if you are AFK though. Impossible to tell if someone is, as people can play with chat off/friends though. They also might just not want to talk to you. It really doesn't do anything to me except make my mind/fire runes sell on the GE, so I leave them be. For people who are poor or low connections, I don't see why this exact same method, but in FoG isn't used. You can cast your absolutely best spell, but all for free :roll:

I'm currently hunting chins, but I was wondering what the XP rates for dark kebbits were. The fur from the kebbits would be semi-profitable for gloves of silence, but obviously not as much as the grey chins I'm currently catching. What gives more xp?

Roach workers and soldiers are excellent for drops. Workers are more consistent and they can be safe spotted.

Depends on whether or not you like to range stuff. If yes, then bolt tips would be a good choice. Other than that, games necklaces and dueling rings are pretty useful items, but you'd lose money in making them :/ Selling them is really the best option.

As a stickler for grammar +1 I can't remember ever getting or seeing a random in the FoG lobby.

You dont need to fail curse/stun now, you can just cast them at lumbridge dummies. With SC amour is around 72k per hour (40 min cast for 120k exp + 1hour minigame to recharge) Without is 100k per hour. Stand around where the range tutor is, and spam f4 -> click -> f4 -> click And dont forget the almighty wind striking spiders. Is that stun or curse? Have any rates for wind striking spiders?

There are quite a few of them in the wildy volcano (Old BH volcano) There are some really nice safe spots too.
