When should I step into p2p?
Imp Catcher takes about 2 minutes to do if you buy the beads, which are <2000 total at last check.

The Ultimate Guide to F2P Banking **Updated July 10th**
What are you going to use the maze key for? That's the real question. It doesn't really matter if you can get it back or not if you never want to. And actually upon checking some things, shade robes are no longer random event items, but a monster drop. Shades are now found in the SoS and drop them.

I REALLY need to rework this entire guide. The forum conversion really messed up a large portion of the guide :wall:

The Ultimate Guide to F2P Banking **Updated July 10th**
It's still useful for slimming down your bank and I still provide helpful hints and tips for organization. Ah yes, that was the whole original intention of the guide, to help F2Pers anyway. As for your bank: What do you need the maze key for anymore? It's not really good training. Shade robes/bottoms are junk. They look EXACTLY the same as priest robes and give about the same prayer boost.

- PVP armor in F2P
While I have no proof of this, I'd have to say no. It's a members object and there is no interaction with them at all in F2P. They're just place holders for the real thing in F2P. Hell, if you have a memb weapon while on an F2P server you just punch or kick the enemy- When should I step into p2p?
At the very least, familiarize yourself with various locales in F2P Runescape. Don't plod down your money right away because you'll end up spending a fair amount of time getting accustomed to the game anyway. I only got members about half a year ago after playing F2P for 5 years and it was a rather large shock to be able to do all the things I wanted to. Then again, I might be biased since I was used to only F2P. You'll be exposed to everything at once and won't know anything else. Still, getting to know more mechanics of the game and more areas would be highly beneficial to you before you make the jump. You'll get the core parts to the game before getting the members fluff to also get used to. Enjoy your RS time and welcome to Tip.it!- Rushers at sc
If you're really only interested in getting the points and not really playing the game, then join a fast sc cc. Games are faster and generally have no attackers.- The best way to make money
First of all, do Monkey Madness if you can to get the d scimmy if you haven't already. Otherwise, stick with the d long. As for equipment: Helm: Try to do Fremmy Trials/Isles too get the neit helm. In most cases the neit helm is better than the d med. Necklace: You should consider the chaos tunnels as they're a bit less crowded and there are no revs. In going to the chaos tunnels, you forgo the need for a games necklace which frees up a spot and you get to keep the glory which can be used for CB. Legs: I don't know about you, but I'd sell the d legs and buy a skirt. It's cheaper and lighter. But if you really care about looks... Shield: DFS if you can  But anti-dragon shield will suffice. To speed up kills a bit, consider bringing a 2-dose combat potion along for the trip. For food, a few salmon will probably suffice, no more than 5.- Fishing and Woodcutting xp rates
Woodcutting: For me, teaks cut at pretty much the same rate as willows, but they give me 20ish more xp per log. Add in the fact that they give you special logs and they're individually worth like 15x more than willows, and you've got little reason cut willows. As for where to cut them, the hardwood grove is the best place to bank really. Need trading sticks? DON'T buy them directly from the GE or collect them from the minigame (but play the minigame for it's fun and random factor  ). Buy cut red topazes from the GE sell them to Gabooty in the village. He takes them noted and the value of them does not go down as you sell more to him. It ends up working to about 1.4-1.5 GP per stick.- how do i get 300 rank in ma
When you suicide, you don't really need to pay that much attention to the game. At the start of each game just line your units up and you can pretty much AFK or watch a vid in a separate window. That's how I got at least 150 of my 311 ranks. 50 were from the early days of when I played conflict and rescue, and another 100 were a mix from being the blue team on fast ma and my own spontaneous ingenuity - Any changes to my set up?
D square or a blessed square shield would be a nice improvement over your rune kite when tanking. Gloves? Barrows if possible of course. Ring? Archer ring (i) is probably best.- Must Have F2P Bank?
Read my guide. You'll find ways to slim your bank and you'll also find a link to shade_bandyt's guide on placeholders.- Energy Rates
This has been stuck in the back of my head for a really long time, but realized it would be a huge undertaking. Glad to see someone with enough initiative to actually do this  I'll post some data at some point.- skull scepter
It's all luck really. My noob level 38 ranger has at least 12 skull halves from training on minotaurs - Dragon Chainbody price...
Well most things are inflating and they'll most likely continue to do so for a little while. 76k tricking is still pouring money into the market and PVP overall is still strong. Don't get greedy though. I'd say wait for maybe a week, but pay attention to th graphs and sell as soon as you see a slow down in price rises. And as for you luck, my friend thought there was no way he'd ever afford a GS and then got a visage from the 3rd iron dragon he killed on a trip and said that there was no way that he'd ever afford something like that. Just goes to show that luck can come to anyone.- NEED BANK HELP
You're looking to cut about 150 items from your bank. If you manage this without getting rid of any valuable member's items, I'd be severely impressed. While all of the suggestions made will certainly help, I don't think it's all the feasible for you to try and cut down all the way to a sub-68 item bank. Instead, just be extremely careful when you bank and just leave all of your items until you go membs again. If you didn't this time, make sure you have placeholders for items before you make the switch. I really can't wait for Jagex to roll out the P2P->F2P bank accommodation.- Druidic Mage robes question...
I'm pretty sure the only items that become useless after simply wielding them are corrupt dragon weapons and perhaps some of the other high-end PVP gear. Everything else will generally not degrade if you simply wear it.- 2008 Cornucopia's Uses
I'm not sure of the merit of using the cornucopia with cakes. If you're going to use it for PVP, you'll probably not want to draw your attention away to filling the cornucopia with the cake to actually then eat it unless you're safing. For monster battles, it'll increase the number of clicks to fully eat by 1, but reduce the amount of time to eat them all by a small amount of time. And if you're using it on F2P, there aren't that many dangerous monsters to warrant fast healing anyway. For membs, I definitely see JoeDaStudd's idea for fruit bats. Now that pineapple rings have plummeted, I guess I'll use mine while I pickpocket in Draynor - Druidic Mage robes question...
As long as you are not in combat (I think it's just maging; you might be able to melee) you will not lose charges. As for how long, it's about 6 hours of straight maging.- How to Efficiently Make Money?
