Yeah it's all really just a new item rush. It's not even that good of a weapon. Stats are sub-par and spec isn't really effective since it's so weak. It does protect from Bandos in GWD, but it's such a weak weapon in general. But anyway, I think time would be better spent just killing more statues for the maces as everyone else has said.

I thought they were only as strong as steel bolts at best. Addy bolts hit a bit higher. You're probably thinking of addy arrows.

I would say it's a pretty good training weapon. It's like an über-dorgeshuun cbow. You can use ridiculously cheap bone bolts, but have a nice boost to accuracy. The spec isn't too shabby either.

Or using prayers. But yes, it does seem pretty awesome. I can't wait to finish the quest and get my hands on one.

The calc might not take into account that they don't stack and just calculates them normally if they were to stack. Just try it with only void and a weapon and then only the salve with a weapon (No other stat boosting items like a torso or gloves, anything that could affect your max hit). After that, test it with both on (remember, don't use anything like a DFS, defender, barrows gloves, or d boots or it'll skew results). If you hit higher than your salve or void trials, then it stacks. If not, then it doesn't.

It also allows you access to hardbodies, which might useful for ranging and mage defence.

Ditto. I have yet to get a second full set of all the costumes I want to wear in F2P. Once I get all of those, then it's XP lamps all the way.

Remember that the +15 only comes into effect with the specs, and they take up 50% of your spec bar. Otherwise, it's just an addy cbow with a negative pray bonus that can fire bone bolts. I love it

You could get full green dhide. That should cost under 13K and will provide decent bonuses.

I'm looking for a good place in RS to lend a dbow. I don't want to use the forums because I want to be lent out as much as possible and these forums don't seem to have many takers. PC is usually a good place, but even PC is a little slow to find a borrower. Anyone know of any good places?

Air running is still ok though. That might be a decent training option.

Assisting on W66 and 99 has officially died. I was so excited when I had 54 RC that I immediately got myself the company outfit and checked out the worlds at peak times. Turns out no one runs essence anymore :(

I think if you're willing to give up a few mill, you could opt for heavy rod fishing for faster xp. BTW, 5-6 hours a day during school? How do you get any work done...?

Hmm, that could make things much more difficult in constructing a set up. Blessed d'hide is so expensive yet has such low def.

I meant quest boss monsters, namely the barrelchest boss. And black knights and other armoured NPCs are weak to crush anyway.

Awesome, thankies. Do take a look in the F2P version now though. It could help you with a few decisions and perhaps organize it too.

If you have skill lamps which are based on levels, then I'd go with prayer, summoning or RC depending on which one is higher. If it's just hard XP like a lamp from a quest, I'd go summoning.

Who said I wasn't planning on doing waterfiends? But there are a few boss monsters that are listed to be weak against crush, and I also need a KO weapon anyway, which the mauls could serve as. I'm also considering on getting my white knight rank up.
