  1. Combat really isn't that big a factor for Underground Pass, but agility is. At 29 Agility, it might take you forever to get to the end.

    Capes

I was looking for the stats on items that fit in the cape slot. I'm looking to upgrade from my +4 Bonesack.
  3. I just tried to do the Tears of Guthix game, but it told me I "cannot enter the cave again until you have gained either one quest point or 21057 total XP." Has anyone else run into something like this, and what the limitations are? I've got 212 quest points and 1240 total levels.
  4. The ol' search button has not given me the information I seek. What are the top gloves and boots available?
  5. I doubt it. If there was going to be one, they'd probably have made it by now.
  6. Is it me, or did the prices in the shop drop?
  7. I doubt the Tyras helm will be that hard to get from the shop in a week. And who's to say it won't be added as a drop.
  8. I think there will almost definitely be another quest in this series. Here's what leads me to that conclusion (these aren't mind-blowing revelations): A) Mourning's End Part 2 did nothing to bring a conclusion to the series conflicts, namely the battle between the two elf factions or the thwarting of the coming god; B) The new Tyras helm and charter to Tyras's campsite; and C) The big blank spot on the map where Prifddinas is supposed to be. Here's my bold prediction for the next quest: Tyras is not actually dead. We only bombed his tent, and if memory serves, we never actually got any proof that he died. We'll see. I do enjoy the series, as it is pretty challenging, both in requirements and complexity.
  9. This may be my favorite Tip.It thread ever. It's a parade of obscure information with no conceivable practical application. In short: awesome.
  10. Does anybody know if you can do Fairytale II with 55 Herblore and a Mature Greenman's Ale?
  11. I'm not sure if it's carried, but you can check the shield shop in West Keldagrim. If it's not carried there, you can try the Blast Furnace inventory to see if people are selling them there. I see a lot of mithril items there.
  12. I have no data to back this up, but I would imagine that the number of people with high enough Herblore and Farming to complete this quest will limit the number of people using the Rings to Abyss-craft. I'm sure many people will do it, I'm just skeptical of it having an effect on the economy.
  13. Moon People and Rellekka suggests that it has something to do with Waterbirth Island
  14. Moot Point: I had that clue and I believe it was in the Treasure Trail guide.
  15. I might be mistaken, but I think when you complete Monkey Madness, it automatically gives experience to all four combat stats, so that's something to avoid for your pure.
  16. That's being pretty belligerent for someone looking for free help. If only there was a web site that had all the quest requirements and rewards conveniently catalogued for people to peruse at their leisure? Wouldn't that be something?
  17. I'll be one of the ones to tell you to let the gnomes do all the work. But I don't know about standing in a corner. What I did was immediately run to the outer ring. I believe there are bridges on each side of the fight area. I waited on the other side for about five minutes until I was sure that the demon was low on HP. The demon uses melee when you're next to him and magic when your not. So i just ranged him from the bridge while using Protect from Magic. It only took me three hits from my whopping 43 range to finish him off. It's kind of cheap, but I did it at a fairly low level and without food or prayer pots. And if they wanted you to kill the demon yourself, they wouldn't have given you those helpful gnomes.
  18. You can go back to Gertrude and get another one for 100 gp. If it's hungry you can put it in your inventory or bank until you get food, I believe.
  19. If you're interested in realism, it could be a dovetail or some other kind of woodworking joint. Of course, this is also overlooks the fact that you get to your house via a magical portal and have a demon for a servant, so I suppose anything's possible
  20. I'm letting my membership lapse for a month starting tomorrow. But I made sure that I had all the materials in my bank that I'll need to do F2P training, so that I can stack new stuff in as I go. I bought a second set of rune armor just so I could return my stuff to the bank if I decide to go combatting for a while.
  21. I just posted this somewhere else, but it still applies: When the final battle started, I quick ran to the outer ring of the area. Then I waited for about 5 minutes while the gnomes did the dirty work for me. Then I ranged it for about three hits to finish it off. I only had about 43 Ranged, so you don't have to be that good at that either. I did use Protect from Magic prayer while ranging, so that might be helpful, but you could probably use food while you ranged.
  22. Anybody know how long it takes to brew Chef's Delight? I want to use it for a quest before my membership lapses tomorrow.
  23. I booked it to the outer ring where the Demon couldn't get me and then waited for the gnomes to do their thing. After about five minutes of hanging around, I used my whopping 43 Range to kill it in about three hits while using Protect from Magic. Cheap, I know, but it took me only took me three steel arrows and about 12 prayer points.
  24. Thanks. That's very helpful. It'd be nice if Tip.It had a comprehensive database of NPC merchants and their wares. Something to bring up in Suggestions...
