I don't have any cousines, nor do i have any aunts or uncles. Not even any grandparents anymore. Dog is dead to :cry: . So i got two piece of parents (one of each kind) and one piece older sister :P

Once i was dedicated to solve it and managed to get it to a point where two cubes where in the wrong place. Frustrated i never seriously tried again. Don't know any algorithms. Guess then it'd be easy.

I can count the people i meet on RS, who even speak the same language as i do on the fingers of one hand. Haven't found a Tip.iter who even speaks german yet.

Some might just have a feeling, that the things that are expected of them make no sense whatsoever. Yes education is nice and helpful, but there would be more important things to learn. Imo the education offered by school is shallow, so why care at all? To neatly fit into and get respected by mainstream society? To become a respectable citizien? I guess many students will feel that way, without reflecting upon it on a rational level. Otherwise they'd probably conclude that it'd be easier to step out of the mainstream, if they learn as much as they can about it.

Around the date of christmas is the shortest day/longest nigt of the year. So afterwards the days get longer. This day always got celebrated by about all cultures i guess. The romans celebrated sol invicuts, the invincible sungod. We learned in religious instruction, that christmas is based on this. Although as i said before i guess these days were celebrated even before. The longest night of the year has a great symbolic significance.

I think so to, but maybe that's just this "good ol' days" attitude. I didn't play Doom too much and never was any good at it (Thinking about it, how good can 12 year olds get at games?) I remeber the music was awsome. Hm.. maybe i can find it somewhere. I found the mood very heavy. Over the years i played Duke Nukem every once in a while. (I still think he's the coolest person alive #-o ) Mostly i played adventure and RPG games though. Anybody played some of the Lucas Arts adventures like Day of Tentacle? Loom? (Loom has an incredible cool atmosphere imo - and that with EGA graphics!). Also remember that i really loved Goblins 3, if anybody knows that one. (Guess i got a little offtopic..) Did Id make Quake?

me to *shudders* :uhh: My mother some years ago started buying things for children of god knows whom. So it really might be for somebody else. If it really is for you, then just play around with that car. Might be fun. Might feel wierd though i guess. (At least i would feel wierd with it.) Just imagine you were a kid.

I'm pretty curious, what the clicḫ̩̉̉ opinons on europe and europeans are. May or may not country specific. (Especially curious about cliches about austria of course). EDIT: Thought i'll broaden the topic a bit and let europeans tell clicḫ̩̉̉s about other europeans to (originally the topic was named: "Americans, tell me clicḫ̩̉̉s about Europe!) Piefke (Germans): Are fat, arrogant ski tourists, with no skiing skills whatsoever per default. French: Chauvenist Bastards (nevertheless they make decent skiiers. yet definitely not as good as an austrian) Italians: Italian males are the best lovers. (are okay skiiers, but not as good as austrians) British: Noble, white skinned, drink tea all day long. Won't work on weekends. (worst skiiers ever) Russians: the mafia (they only do nordic skiing) Turks: Try to conquer our innocent little country by immigrating and neglecting birth control (turks can't even grasp the basic concepts of the art of skiing)

Right you are there. But the again we can take over all of North America anytime we please. Canada wouldn't put up much of a fight. Horses don't out run jets now do they? EH? Yeah, Canada doesn't have as much military power as America. Nor does it have as good health care. You're joking right? Canada's healthcare is 100000X better than the State's. Awsome! I loved playing with Lego. There weren't any Lego Vikings back then though. I had Knights and Pirates. I'm constantly try to get rid of stuff (CDs, Books and such). Recently i started to collect treasure trail items on RS though. It's nice. A virtual collection won't take any space =). (and collecting for some reason is a good feeling)

He seems to be a bit naive and confuses ww2 with the cold war? btw i just watched the first video, this guy linked to. It's a nice unbiased documentary.

Better yet, trust no one at all. lol! This definitely feels true sometimes. So maybe trusting your feelings too much isn't the best thing you can do.

b/c they are not beliefs...he accepts them as FACTS from his secret agent KBG grandpa and? he made the thread to "shed light" on every1...so i told him it was a load of cabbage...and he calls me a fool for believing what my government tells me...etc...etc...etc edit: i've tried making him understand...by destroying his arguments. he has no proof of his claims and says "I proved you wrong" That's not what i meant. Imo it's pretty much impossible to "prove" things in arguments, so that all involved are convinced. Both of you believe the other one is wrong. Ah! Some mind - [bleep] activists =)
