b/c they are not beliefs...he accepts them as FACTS from his secret agent KBG grandpa and? EDIT: I think you should make him understand, that most people will think he is either a liar, or stupid. EDIT2: and give him to think, that it might not be the wisest thing to do, to give people a reason to think of him that way.

Why do you try to destroy his believes?

Liv Taylor Naomi Watts? It's sad that she has been downgraded to being the person from The Ring. Gorgeous.

Still looking for a dentist i can trust. The 2nd last [bleep]ed up one of my teeth and the last one fixed it, but it fell apart again. Not that it would hurt or anything. It's just a bit of a nuissance.

Some of you have a rather uh.. extravagant taste.
-
They aren't. Rest assured.

Yaaaah! Almost put her up to.
-
Wouldn't say so, but let's focus on something else =P
-
I think she's hot .. Well ugly looks different =P

I know, i know.. kinda ridiculous topic probably. Nevertheless i guess it says something about your taste. Don't make the lists too long! I'll start naming a few: Kate Moss Milla Jovovich Kira Knightley

^That i already knew =P After all the Tora is basically the same as the old testament. Sounds it's just the jewish version of celebrating the shortest day (like christan christmas or roman sol invictus. Well happy Hanukkah i guess! (btw can the word Hanukkah be translated into english?)
-
Definitely agree on that, but many topics are about things where nobody really can be right or wrong.

I believe it's very important how you view yourself and much less important, how others perceive you. After all the only person who can truley know how you are, is yourself.

Even if Christianity is false, he still dominates you in arguments. He's the one that doesn't lose his head, and he doesn't end up making his entire argument based on an appeal to emotion and ad hominem. I ran into him once, and i perceived him to be extraordinary hotheaded. About discussions in general: I don't really enjoy those where everybody tries to prove they are right. Also i don't think you can argue rational at all, because for a conclusion you'll mostly need a set of values and you can't figure out values rationally. Basically i don't even think anymore that something like rationallity exists. At least you couldn't argue rational, because what rational reason do you have to engage in a discussion anyway? Something that annoys me incredible is, that some people try to take apart every word you said, instead of interpreting the message as a whole and try to figure out, what you meant with your post. Instead of interpolating the loopholes of a point of view, people often attack those, just to make the first person appear to be wrong. To me discussions aren't about who is right or wrong.

There aren't too many jews in austria. Guess that has something to do with the Nazis trying to exterminate them. There are plenty of Moslems though, so i know what Ramadan is. Don't know Vesak either.

When i feel save and comfortable with people i'm infectious enthusiastic and visionary. That's how i like being most. It really depends on the people i'm with though. Most of the time i feel just like the reflection in a mirror. I'm the sun and i hate it when i have to hide myself. Often i feel smothered and encaged. I need space, plenty of space. Basically i'm a really simple person, but i feel distorted by all those rules, laws and reglementations. I don't need them, i don't want them. Once i was in love, but i was afraid of doing anything wrong, so i did everything wrong. Once i was beat up and i wouldn't defend myself, because i was scared to do anything wrong. I'm the sun and you'll know me when i'm done. Hehe.. guess i could make some lyrics out of that.

Never heard of it before.

Who or what is a Hanukkah?!

Started playing RS summer 05, so all i know about the old days is from hear say. Bluerose - When i started playing, she was long gone, but after i heard a couple of stories about RSC, nobody seems as much a legend to me as her. Might be a little inappropriate comparsion, but when i was born idk Alexander the great was history for a long time. Still he is legendary. (Although Merlin, who might not even be a historical person is much more of a Legend.) Durial - Even though i was on a 3 month break from RS at the time he became famous, when i came back the whole story was still hot. You might say the Partyhat dupe had much more impact on the game, the public doesn't know who was responsible. So the Party hat dupe itself might be legendary, but there's no name associated with it. Durial has a place in my list as the guy who killed off player characters in the middle of falador. If you'll argue that only good deeds should be worthy of legendary status, consider that Jack the Ripper is also a legend. Duke Freedom - I can remember when i was pretty new to members, i browsed the ores 'n' bars forum and this guy had this thread: "selling 60k steel bars", which sounded insane to me. The guy was named Duke Freedom, wich is a very impressing name by itself. I remember this post, where somebody offered a yellow phat for the bars and some other guy replied: "Dude, this is Duke Freedom, not some noob who happens to have some steel bars." "Whoa, living legend", i though. Those three are definitely the names i would associate most with RS legend. There are some you might not even know, that i've consider(ed) heroes, like: mugghiwplar (found his fighting cave obsession amazing), Haha28 (when i was deep into herblore, it seemed to me, as if he'd own the herblore forum. definitely one of my heroes.) .... Cursed You made a deep impression on me to. He also has a strong name (not as strong as "Duke Freedom". Duke Freedom, from the pure sound of his name, if i wouldn't even know anything about him, is the mightiest name i ever seen on rs.

Sounds like you just plan on that to proof something. There's no need to try extremly hard imo. Also there is no guarantee that you wouldn't be stuck with something you hate, once you graduated medical school. At least you will be stuck with being a doctor, if you'd hate that i don't know of course. It's all about getting paid fairly for the work you do. People who do not go to college sometimes work much harder than people who do, and they get paid less. I refuse to do that. My dad told me every day growing up to never accept that, because he had to accept that when he was my age, because I was born. He builds houses, which isn't a horrible job, infact his business does 1+ million in work every year (he builds houses by himself faster than the local 5+ man crews, it's pathetic really.), but he has to bust his [wagon]. In Minnesota, it's either hot or cold; it's rarely "nice" outside, so yea. I've tried his job. It sucks. I might as well use my brain for something. I'm not setting a goal to "prove" anything besides the fact that I can do something with my life. Could you get done with medical school and work in a job you hate? Yes, but it's very unlikely. Like I said, I'm not dead-set or anything, but the only thing I ever found interesting in school was science, and I like to help people, so *shrug*. Okay! Your choice after all. I'm just the guy, who can't accept to be doomed to do a real job (*shuders*). For many people it seems to work out just fine though.
