Basically, I don't like powertraining gathering skills. By that, I mean that dropping what I gather is, to me, just a waste. I know that, opportunity cost wise, they're the best, but they're just not my style. So, what are the best methods for gathering skills that don't involve dropping everything I gather? Fishing: Monkfish, then rocktails? Woodcutting: I'm pretty sure that ivy wins here Mining: Concentrated gold? Hunter: Red chinchompas, I'm pretty sure Am I right, or are there better methods? For reference, my levels in those skills are 81 84 86 and 73.

Yes, I remember when it was most common for barrowers to keep the death and mind runes (more magic dart spells), sell the bloods, bolt racks, half keys, and any barrows drops, and keep the chaos runes to sell to TzHaar because it made more money than just selling them.

I don't believe that the store will buy for 10 tokkul each forever. As you sell more, the price that the store buys for goes down. I am not completely sure as I have not tested it, but that's what I believe happens. Also, you can't buy 300k fire runes at a time on the GE (or anywhere else for that matter)

I'm not an expert, but cannoning scarabites seems to be the best of those options. They seem to drop a ton of crimson charms, but they are, from what I remember, one of the most risky of the methods you put up there -- but as long as you know what you're doing, they're the best choice up there (from hearsay, yes, but I'm quite confident in my assessment.)

Statius' Warhammer: How good for soloing?
Mischlings replied to Mischlings's topic in Help and Advice
That's what I figured the answer would be. Oh well, I might buy one anyway and just try it out -- see what happens. -
I saw a video last night of a solo kill of the Corporeal Beast, and I noticed that this weapon was used. I don't plan on trying that -- I don't have the skills or skill, though I do other things solo (mostly Bandos), so I was wondering: how good is this for soloing other boss monsters? I know it costs an arm and a leg and disintegrates after an hour, so is it at all possible to profit and use the warhammer, or is it just for fun/Corp soloing?

Okay, it was last and not today, but that's just being nitpicky. 1) 83-86 cooking 2) Decided to go barrowing, got dragon med, Verac's skirt, Dharok's Axe, and Torag's Helm within 6 runs 3) Killed 30 abyssal demons, got a whip Overall, not bad.

I finally bought a decent drumset before (only had the MadCatz portable kit before, using it rarely because its sensitivity was horrible), so I might become good at drums yet. I've already FC'd one song on Expert, but it doesn't count because it was Charlene.

Do you use Super Attack/Strength/Defence potions a lot?
Mischlings replied to tedbundty's topic in Questionnaires
I use super attack/strength all the time, but I use super defence a lot less, as there aren't as many situations in which I really need them -- a bunyip makes them obsolete a large amount of the time. -
Abyssal whip is 4, Godsword is 3, Dharok's Axe is 2, and I think that the fastest (darts) is 7. according to wikia abyssal whip's speed - 6 , so it attacks every 2.4 seconds (6 sec - 0,6xspeed) GodSword - 4 , so it attacks every 3.6 seconds Dharok's Axe - 3 , every 4.2 seconds and the darts is indeed 7 , so it attacks every 1.8 seconds Thanks, I was going by memory, and mine isn't the best. I only got one right; too bad. Think of how much fun (and unbalanced) a weapon with a speed of 10 would be (server crashes due to an infinite loop, maybe?)

I often go for efficiency, though a lot of times I'm playing while watching a movie/baseball game/talking to people, so I often go for somewhat fast methods that don't require huge amounts of attention (fletching yew longs instead of bolts, chopping Eucalyptus instead of teaks, etc.) so I can train while doing other things. Works quite well for me. I have tried most methods of training most skills, unless it involves losing huge sums of money that I can't afford, so it's really whatever I feel like or can afford at the moment.

Sorry, I wasn't sure, as there isn't anywhere that says where to submit corrections (as far as I know). As for the articles themselves, I'm not so sure that I see the relation between fatigue and the new rest feature -- it felt a bit too much like a stretch to me.

Still reading through, but I noticed an error in the first article. The question mark and period are at the end of the wrong sentences. Just noticed that and thought I should point it out.

One more question about the adze and I'll shut up. I have 76 firemaking and 80 woodcutting -- should I go ahead and burn 37k or so maples for 92 firemaking, or should I train them up a little more evenly before getting the adze? I'm mostly worried about wasting firemaking xp if I powerlevel to 92 now and get more than enough xp for 99 from the adze, which though it is a good problem to have, is still a problem.
-
The dropping while cutting was removed yesterday, I believe (makes me glad I took advantage of it to get 3 levels while it was still in the game), but there is the possibility of it coming back sometime in the future. Out of curiosity, due to the xp increases from the inferno adze, do you think it's worth powertraining firemaking before you seriously train woodcutting, or is it just something that you should use if you have it, but don't go out of your way to get it?

Okay, after having used the touchscreen a bit more (mostly for skilling, haven't tried it when it comes to combat), depending on the situation, it's pretty much perfect. Example: Firemaking. It feels much more natural using the touchscreen (I have a tablet PC, so it's flat on the table I use), since it's one of the few skills left that requires constant left-clicking (right clicking is another story entirely). My only problem with the touchscreen is that I can't access the keyboard while I'm using the touchscreen, meaning that anything that involves using the keyboard (changing the camera angle, typing in numbers, etc) is pretty much impossible (I can use my keyboard that isn't built-in, but I don't like dragging that out) I like the touchscreen for some things, but for the majority of tasks in RuneScape, a mouse is best.

Let's see... no very well defined goals, but I'll just have to see what happens. 2000 total? Finish one of the many guides I've started? 70+ in all skills? I'll have to see what happens

Offcuts stack, not caviar.
-
While barbarian fishing, is it worth it to bank the caviar and sell it later? Or should I just use it as more bait while fishing?
-
That is why you were banned. It was clicking very consistently, and not because of some action you kept doing -- you were basically programming it to click for you, which is against the rules.
-
My laptop has a touchscreen and there's a little button on the side of the stylus to do a right click. You can also right click by holding the stylus in the same place on the screen. It seems that the use of a touchscreen is relatively limited in RuneScape, mostly good for situations in which you only need to right click sparingly (not, say, powermining). Basically, it's mostly good for situations in which the attention that you need to pay is minimal. Also, a touchpad is just as bad. To me, really, the only way to play RuneScape is with a mouse, but I can use a touchscreen occasionally.

He meant a complete, level-by-level list. You don't need one of those.
