It looks a lot like TJ's work, the left mountain has nearly undeniable proof showing some serious observation was made to make it similar. There's no ripping but my advice I'll post (since you asked for CC/advice by making this topic) is to never copy off of other's ideas/techniques. Copying style/technique/colors/ideas never makes good artwork, people notice similarities and no one likes art copycats. :) My recommendation is to be original, don't make something that was made before, but aim to make something better. Sure there's some really nice amazing artwork out there, but they don't set the limits, only the bar. If you're really serious about art, you will make make something that will challenge the rest, not just live up to an existing piece. For more specific CC, I like the castle, maybe add some darker contrast on the left to match the mountains coloring. The water is nicely colored but the perspective needs some work so it doesn't just fall off the horizon.

Looks like the mystery has been solved, so locking. :) Any further doubts, I'd just PM the clan admins/leaders about the banner.

Best answers here will be rumor so I'd suggest you send a query to Jagex for an official answer. Even the official KBdoesn't mention anything about a black party hat. Locked to prevent further spam and flames.

Nice one, but I think the corner edge lines are way too bright. Try to make them more of just a lighter tone of the stuff, not just white lines.

Nice coloring, specially on the walls. The concept/setting is old, when everyone is in a throne room rich, no one is unique anymore. 8-) Need to fix that text, doesn't look good to me at all. What don't you like about our rules :?:

I don't mind showing people where I'm at currently (current wip) if I'm finished working on it for a few hours, but I can't draw/work on art while someone is watching over my shoulder. I usually don't like when people come out of nowhere and ask "what are you drawing?", don't feel like showing something I didn't clean up since it usually looks like a big mess of colored coded lines. Mainly because they'd get very bored at how many times I have to retry colors/lineart in a single tiny spot till I get it right, and I don't want anyone pressuring me to not worry about a detail and just move on so fast just so they can see what's next. If it's a quick pencil sketch, it's usually fast paced so I don't mind people watching then.

There's some ripped work in there from mine, one being same face as guy with shark here: Leg armor: Whip resized from this: Ripping will not be tolerated, do not take someone's work as your own because people will always find out, no matter how small or big a rip is. :shame:

I haven't seen anyone post that sig as their own work here, nor seen anyone using it as a ripped work. If/when you find someone claiming your work as their own, PM me or another tipit mod to report the rip with evidence. Locking as I don't want people posting names with or without evidence, such info may be PMed to me privately. If people keep accusing you of ripping someone else, I'd suggest you ask them to provide you evidence showing source of a specific place or person posting that work as their own. :)

One of the nice things about MsPaint is that it can convert length units from pixels to metric (cm) or english units (inches) automatically without you having to do any math by hand. Just go to Attributes under the Image menu, and you'll find this screen: Input the size you want, and just select different units to find out what you're looking for. If you want to know how much 1 inch in pixels is, just put 1 when using inches, and then select "pixels" to find answer. Same the other way, put in the 400x150 dimensions, and click Inches to find what you're looking for.

Simple tips but yeah probably what most people aren't aware of. I myself forgot Paint had that grid thingy, useful specially for text.
