Do you guys think Edating is ok?
Lulz. Honestly, no, it's just a bad idea imo. True e-dating is just fail. There is a difference between this (at least in my eyes according to my definitions) and using online dating services or long-distance relationships (which don't tend to work out either.)

Chaotic Spear?
We need a monster that gives the need for one handed crush first. Something that combines the style specific defence of waterfiends with the special shield requirement of dragons or basilisks. Would make a fine slayer task. In any case, Dungeoneering isn't the right thing to solve this with. The shop rewards are adequate, although it would be nice to see more resource dungeons once other skills have been filled out a bit more. Wyverns? @ Above: that only works if the spear had the same speed as a rapier.

Drop rate and drop chance
The problem is your definition of drop rate is, to be blunt, wrong. You are the only person on this thread with that definition of drop-rate. It is a definition of drop rate I have never heard of, because I have never played any video game where there is any monster you can kill that drops a particular item once for every X kills, where X is one single integer greater then one. I am not sure where you got this definition from. In any case, the meaning of a word or phrase is the definition most people (of a community) use for that word or phrase. Two last notes: 1. I must apologize in advanced, because this probably constitutes flame-bait, but I think the OP might be trolling. Just might. This thread reminds me of a lot of other dumb threads I've read that were created by trolls. To the OP, I apologize if this is not the case. 2. This "drop-rate" idea, which currently does not exist in any game that I am aware of, would be a rather nice addition for certain really rare non-tradeable drops, such as champions scrolls.

Whip vine
Uh, no, the spec is very different from the old whip spec. It's not particularly useful but I DO think it's a large improvement on the original whip spec.

Bursting Rock Lobsters
40m won't get you overloads in any case. From 92 herb I need like 30-40m to get overloads lol. Anyhow, herblore is usually 15-17gp/exp, so 40m should get you to at least extreme att/str pots I do believe. Alternately just burst rock lobs for mage and summon like you originally planned. 40m will go a long way there.

Farseer Kiteshield
A tome of frost would definitely be a better use of your tokens at rock lobsters then the Farseer Kiteshield.

Box Staking
Actually, the attack styles aren't equal. Each attack styles offers an invisible +3 bonus to the respective style. The only time this is really noticeable is on brand new accounts but it would affect staking somehow.

Can't access login server
cut trees irl  Best quote ever. Now to make a "can't do x - do x irl" in a better to worse format. Well, I'll try. Can't WC - cut trees irl. Can't fish - fish irl. Can't train RC - good riddance. Can't train cooking - MAKE ME A SAMMICH. Can't train firemaking - it's a lot less stressful irl. Get gasoline and matches... Can't train agility - get your fat ass off your desk chair and run around the block o_O Can't thieve - go rob a bank o_o Also, this thread feels eerily similar to the last one. 90% of people complaining they can't log on, 100+ guests constantly reading this, a few people bragging about how they're still online and I end up reading this thread entirely after the fact. Cheesecake Tentacles. What would happen if you combined Squid and Cheesecake. Dude. I'd totally eat that. Mmm, cheesesquid... ok that just sounds dirty. LALALALALALA ROFL

Actual in dungeon reward -minor spoiler inside-
You know what'd be interesting - not sure how well this would work but... if you got bind item points instead of just another bound item, with the costs of an item being the amount of material you'd need to make it. I.E. 5 for a platebody, etc. Would require some balancing tho, main issues is staffs/bows would only take up one slot and a lot of thought would need to be put into slayer items. Every item slot having a different bind value would mostly work, except the head slot would be relatively cheap and the hood shouldn't be (if anyone is following this.) Just an interesting idea. Not that it'll ever happen. As for the guardian's ward, anyone who thinks that the 2h is the best weapon bind will realize the uselessness of a shield. You can't range with it and you can't effectively mage with one because of surgeboxes. A bound item needs to be a versatile item useable in a lot of different scenarios, which I don't think the guardians ward is. Maybe if someone wants to tank with a b axe, plate, hood and that shied at lvl 120, idk. But realistically, not many people will bind it.

The problem about that is you'd need entirely sepreate binds for the CWars thing and DG. I'd be happy if we just got a toolkit bind. Unlike some people, I wouldn't say No to getting more binds, although I realize they aren't that necessary. I'd rather have a bind bank first tho.

05-Jul-2011 - Salt in the Wound
MEP2 was [bleep]ing evil. Although I do have to say, a lot of the new quests DO feel a lot easier then earlier quests - part of that is they're doing a lot less of the "fetch this random miscellaneous items" which can add like 10 minutes per item depending on how remote the quest is. WGS was good in my mind but a lot of the new "sequel" quests feel like they're just trying to end the storyline to make us happy as opposed to continuing the storyline in the same vein on which it was started. Still, they aren't half bad to me. As for DG being forced into quests, I agree that Jagex just kinda screwed themselves by making DG all about Damonheim and not dungeon delving. Although I'm kinda surprised the Sagas aren't technically quests o.O Also, I kinda liked the part with the chick dying at the end - I dunno, I like how it didn't end on a completely happy note. Kinda shows the evil of the slugs I guess.

Actual in dungeon reward -minor spoiler inside-
What we really needs is a quest that lets us start every dungeon with a ****ing toolkit. Other then that, another ammo bind for range/mage hyrbrid or just straight up hybriding or something. Maybe an offensive ammo bind and laws/cosmics. Last thing I can think of, maybe a material bind of sorts. Basically like a bind of some weapon/armour that you have the level to make. So like, prom plate wit 90 mining/99 smithing, that sort of thing. Maybe.

Lmao! Some others whose names aren't important. Yeah. They're hot and all but I don't give a [bleep] what their names are. Hey! You! You there! You're hot! Get down with me! No I don't wanna know your name! Sorry, that's just kinda the vibe I get.

Third Bind Guide and/or Discussion.
I don't think the drop rate for Hexes is any more then 1/20. I will buy that they are probably far, far less rare then Hexes. The reason why they are such a rare drop is because you rarely see the slayer monster. And I feel a need to point out that your own personal experience may or may not be conclusive to proving their overall rarity. Keep in mind that Obt here is noted for not getting a hood until, I believe, 90+ dungeoneering - whereas even boss drops are (relatively at least) easy to get by just repeating a floor with the boss you want over and over. I think everyone accepts that a Primal Plate is arguably the best defensive bind after a hood, but a Sag Body makes a very good offensive/defensive bind exclusively for users who have a Hex. I don't recall what Fulco said, but if he wanted a bind to reduce dying and does not have a Hex, Primal Plate would definitely be the best option. (Beyond being told by half of this thread to DG better.) If one has a Hex however, the Sag body offers fairly good def too, as well as offering a good DPS boost as opposed to something that drastically decreases it. Would you accept given the lines of reasoning on this thread for the Sag Body that it could be a good defensive/offensive bind for Hexers?

Third Bind Guide and/or Discussion.
Well, Blood Necklaces aren't exactly easy to acquire. If you have a Hex, a Sag Body seems faaaaaaarrrr more useful then a Primal Plate. Especially since you'd probably need to take OFF the plate for most Hexable monsters.

Golden Mining Outfit
Wear it. Note that the word "wear" is used in your quote. It's highly illogical that you'd need to wear only the platebody to get a full set effect boost.

Third Bind Guide and/or Discussion.
Still might be worth it on high level mages at least. T11 mages have 97 slash def (and other high level mages have some semi-high slash def), bind you occasionally and have exactly 0 range def.

What about unequipping it for fighting primal warriors? Since you need the crush accuracy? Note: I do get why it's 2H+Hex.

Goodbye Rants Section
Think of the rants as a garbage can. If you aren't throwing your garbage into the garbage can, where are you gonna throw it? If people want to rant about something and don't have a rants forum, they won't go "oh, well I guess I won't post it now." They'll just find another place to post it. @ Above poster: if by "letting them go" you mean that they'll go away without a rants section, you're dead-wrong. If by "letting them go" you mean release them into the general RS forums.... well I dun't like that much. Not that I ever GO to the RSOF but still.

If you had to NO LIFE a BOSS
Yes. Yes, you do. Anyways, the people who vouch for Nex aren't only saying "this is the best money" they're saying "this is the most fun AND the best money" considering it also has the most special moves of any boss, ever. Most, maybe all bosses outside DG don't even come close to offering such an engaging fight. Many people who kill Nex rarely, if ever, solo any other boss. Anyways, Nex should only be an option for those who can actually kill Nex effectively in a team. Which is why I put TDs down.
-
If you had to NO LIFE a BOSS
Taken directly from the first post. But who reads on a forum, right? The people arguing for Nex are probably saying Nex because they honestly prefer it to all other bosses, solo-able or otherwise. I read that bit. But it seems like a rather arbitrary restriction. There's a fair amount of people who wouldn't want to no-life ANY boss outside of Nex or DG bosses. You can't solo Nex and people who enjoy DG usually enjoy it as a group activity and dislike solo'ing. I'd rather someone say Nex then "I don't really like any soloable bosses that much."

Canada Post on Strike
I think it's wrong on general principles to force people to go back to work from striking. However, I'd also be in favour of individual strikers being able to go back to work if they want or to hire new people if possible. I dunno, I guess a have a "laissez faire" attitude towards strike, aka leave it alone. (Except for the parties directly involved of course.) Doesn't really affect me tho.

If you had to NO LIFE a BOSS
I see where you're coming from, my first thought was Nex as well (even tho I don't have the stats for it) but... if someone is liked, maxed, and says they want to no-life Nex, why isn't that a viable choice? Personally, I'd say TDs. Most bosses (except maybe KBD) would probably be harder for me to solo then TDs statwise yet at the same time follow the fairly standard "watch your character fight and eat when necessary" combat mechanic which, frankly, is a tad boring. Failing that, barrows.
