Banned because I waste time on MTG instead of Runescape.

I will never understand why this stuff bothers people. There's nothing to worry about unless you're committing crimes. [bleep]. You. Yeah, we're just gonna randomly search your house. Don't worry, there's nothing to worry about unless you're actually committing a crime. You look funny. We're taking you down to the station and searching you. Don't worry, unless there's nothing to worry about unless you actually commit a crime. Following your logic, that's also acceptable. "Any society willing to give up a little liberty for a little security will deserve neither and lose both." I like this quote too. Now, granted, providing studies there are studies that show that video cameras prevent crime, I'm ok with cameras. Although, it does make me wonder - are there studies on how effective video cameras are at crime prevention, and if so, what do they say?

...Y-you? Psych major? Pulling the psyche major card? You have a psyche major? I literally went back to make sure that you were the person I was thinking about, aka the person with the crazy ex who seems to keep dating crazy girls knowing it will end badly and doing it anyways... You, the person who went out with a chick knowing it would probably end horribly but doing it anyways because it was fun at the time? YOU have a psyche major and berate others? I'm shocked and stunned. I'm not calling you a hypocrite, but dear GOD that's inconsistent. I'm going to pretend I'm not slightly offended :P I'm attracted to crazy. Not just crazy girls. I crave explanations and solutions. It only makes sense for me to be a psychologist. I still haven't decided if I want to be a research scientist or a therapist though. Besides, 18% of college students in the US are declared Psychology majors. And you can't sit here and tell me all of them are going to be super well adjusted and perfect human beings. I theorize most psych majors are people who have dealt with trauma earlier in their lives whether directly or second hand and enter the field to do their part to help the situation. I'm far from perfectly sane. I have my moments of mania, but self diagnosis is the worst idea ever, and I don't have the time or insurance to get myself actually checked out. So I learned to handle it on my own. I'm not gonna sit here and try to explain what exactly makes me tick, but I know my limits and what I should and shouldn't do verse what I want to do and am capable of. I like living the human experience in its fullest spectrum. To deny yourself any life experience is wasteful to me, so even if I know something will end badly, I'll do it anyway for the experience. Most things end badly anyway, why deny yourself that short run of happiness? I'm fairly inconsistent in what I preach verse what I do sometimes, sure. But give me an example of one human that hasn't done that. It's part of what we are as a species whether you like it or not. You have a point actually. My reaction was overboard. Human beings, as a whole, often make irrational, emotional decisions (I'm pretty sure my reaction was based on emotions, not logic or reason) and often don't practice what they preach. Simply because it's very easy to say what the smart decision is, it's another thing entirely to do it. I've had more the one conversation recently about how I should follow my own advice lol. I apologize, I overreacted.

Banned for not teaching him to care about his profession.
-
Wrong. Plenty of non-americans have pretended they were superman when they were playing. I'm a sexy, shoeless god of war!
-
Banned for not caring :( Meanypants!

Please, please, please don't underestimate human laziness.

Banned because the routine maintenance doesn't involve shutting the gravity plating down. For it to be off, a major failure occurred that would never have happened if the maintenance had been kept up. =; Double-banned because I can see an obvious typo, and I've underlined it in the quote above. :-s ~D. V. "So there, and I'm using PhpBB2 emotes too!" Devnull Banned for having an incompetent engineer as part of your crew. It wasn't your fault, since he graduated with high honors (probably cheated) and was assigned to your crew. But you're still banned for it.

Awwwww, you two should go on a date.

It's Super Effective!
Sir_Squab replied to Zaaps1's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
A webcomic called questionable content. Normally the comic is relatively tame (the occasional butt and pop/fart joke) but then there's yelling bird. Yelling bird happens when the artist/author is too sick or tired or something to make a comic. Or just when it's funny. Yelling bird is incredibly crude. As in, by perverted harpie standards he's a little crude. http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2420 Here's a link to the regular comic and a comic that is much, much less questionable. And sad cow is sad :( -
You aren't helping!
-
Wrong. It's the only one you know about. There are others, they've been there all along, you just haven't been to the right region yet. Ash Ketchum does not age.
-
Banned because the engineer actually warned everyone one this thread about the routine maintenance of the gravity plating. Unfortunately Captain Devnull forgot about this and neglected to issue the magnetic boots.
-
Clearly these people haven't been to the internet. People who like to [bleep] cars is tame. People who get off watching or imagining they are dinosaurs [bleep]ing cars is where the weirdness is it. .... Don't judge me. Heard this from a guy who basically wanted to challenge rule 34.

[spoiler=Warning: Adult Content inside]Well, this comic seems very appropriate for the harpie nest. Also seems like something that'll get my post deleted if I'm not careful. Here's da link: http://questionablecontent.net/random/2420yb.png -

03-Apr-2013 - Dungeoneering Dual Wielding and Charming Imp
Sir_Squab replied to chenw's topic in General Discussion
Dharok's greataxe/Godsword. ^This if you mean a literal 2h whip it just does not make sense. A whip isn't a two handed device; everything about it's design and use makes it 1 handed. Eh, dual wielding crossbows makes no sense either. Rule of cool. -

You're fired from the creativity centre for not coming up with an original reason to ban him. You've complained about his name not being algable enough before.
