Up where I live the digital signal is not the best and isn't received well from the existing tv aerials. I've heard of people having to buy a new aerial after they have got the box.

Phil, didn't you just come back from like a yr long vacation Yep yep though it wasn't to the extent that the threadstarter was meaning (ie Into the Wild) I don't think I could do it Alexander Supertramp style though since I like money too much ;)

Though he died from fungus, not because the plants themselves were poisonous. I loved reading the book and I agree the film wasn't as good. I'd love to get away from it all like the thread starter suggests. I'll just ease myself into it though. :)

If I'm drinking wine it's usually with a meal. Normally rose or white. I prefer them over red. Though I would say it's not very often that I do drink wine. I'm not a big spirits drinker either, though will drink the occasional vodka & soda. I'm more of a beer & lager person. Can't beat a good Belgian blonde ;)

Only now are my parents taking note of the firefox I installed on their system years ago. They didn't really take in my suggestion before. Funny though that they use a computer for internet browsing daily for years and still they had trouble understanding the concept of different browsers. :P

When The Rolling Stones play the half-time interval during the 2010 World Cup final, like they did in 2006 for the Super Bowl, I'll take it back. When we have an organised party for whoever makes it to the final, England or otherwise, I'll take it back. Do you even know how much money an average player in the NFL makes? There's that much worth in the franchise. The NFL is far better than international football. I'm a football fan too, not some chauvinistic American patriot. So can you provide a link for thinking the superbowl is more popular because I've only ever heard the opposite. Just because more money is involved in the actual event doesn't mean it's watched more.

Not really unheard of. :wink: We have shinty here which is slightly similar to hurling, but it's not as popular here as hurling is in Irleand I'll stick to my proper football anyway.
