  1. ...but not fast enough for people to not be scammed by it. I'm not saying this is the best idea, but something else needs to be thought of. I'm not going to say there is no way of improving things, but unfortunetly I think that no matter what we could do from the forum's end, the last line of security lies with the user and there is always going to be the odd few who fall for it. Perhaps trying to inform them better of threats on the internet and runescape specifically. But everyone knows this isn't easy, even Jagex I'm sure. Though please don't mistake this as me saying nothing can be done. Anyway perhaps my last line in my previous post (which you were referring to) wasn't the best for this discussion as it doesn't really add anything, sorry.
  2. As soon as we find these topics the actual bad link is censored if needed.
  3. Just because of a few bad users doesn't mean we should take the fun out of the forums for others. (especially something as basic as images) Also the bad users would easily find a way round it. Either getting round a censor or spamming their way to higher post count. There's usually mods active enough so things can be cleaned up reasonably quickly too.
  4. I'm pretty certain it doesn't, just tries to fool users into entering their username/password. These people don't seem to have finished though so please be wary about clicking any link! If you are unsure, don't click it. Head over to the Tech board if you need help with any virus scans/ etc.....
  5. The reporter was right "nothing but spam and trolling."

Right guys, you're ruining this thread for anyone who wants to post a picture. Please take your comments elsewhere and if you don't like what others are wearing then just don't post. Thanks.

Still no need to laugh. And as he said, at least he posted his.
  9. I see Jeremy Clarkson is now getting the same treatment for a joke on Top Gear. Where will the madness end?
  10. The Libertines - Don't Look Back Into The Sun By far their best song. Had forgotten how much I loved it.
  11. Off-Topic - Anything not relating to RS
  12. Am I the only person who cringed when they read this bit? I'm not even going to comment on the rest of the thread.
  13. We were never allowed to wear fancy dress at school on halloween. I would've hated that.

Reminds me I've got a couple of entourage dvds to buy. I only got up to the end of series 3 part 1. I need to get back into it.

Another good day! Man Utd won, they should have finished Hull off but they went to sleep, credit to Hull who never gave up though. Good to see Liverpool and Arsenal losing too. St Johnstone won again and Queen of the South lost so that mean we are now top of the league. Our squad is looking strong now which is always a good thing.

Locking since it has nothing to do with runescape plus it's a rubbish 'trick'.
  17. Maybe not for England but I wouldn't say it's terribly unusual for parts of Scotland. It's nearly November really. I remember when I was younger, maybe 12 years old our worst snow during that winter was at the beginning of November. Our winter's have been lacking much snow lately.

Wow 2 late goals from Spurs to make it 4-4 against Arsenal. Just saw Bentley's goal too! Wish I'd seen the game.
  19. One week? That's nothing lol... we just passed the one month mark a couple day ago. Yep, over one month straight with precipitation each day. It sucks. We apparently had it lasting 40 days earlier this year in the summer, luckily I was in sunny Australia at the time
  20. We've had it before and we'll have it again. I wouldn't particularly blame this on 'climate change' It wasn't snowing here in Perth but it was damn cold in the wind. Clear skies most of the day. We could see the snow clouds up to the north though. The central belt is generally shielded from the worst of the snow by the highlands. On a slightly other note - I hate how the media try to sensationalise it. Every year it happens "Britain set for worst winter in 100 years" etc etc :P

Can see Spurs moving up the table now with Redknapp in charge. Can't really say the same for Newcastle though. Looking forward to these midweek games.
  22. It's not their best I agree but wouldn't say it's bad. Nothing will top Hot Fuss in my opinion.
  23. Same. Does all I want it to and I'm quite happy with keeping it for the time being.

Spurs lose again. Also a good win for Villa beating Ajax. Was hoping to see Suarez on form.
  25. Am I the only person that doesn't like converse trainers? At the moment I wear some black New Balance trainers that I bought in New York cause they were so cheap. I have a couple of dressy shoes, one for my suit and the other for work. Also have my Cat boots. Will try to get some photos up.
