  1. To be fair, it's kind of hard to explain why I'm still hanging out on a Runescape fansite if I don't play Runescape. "Oh, I'm only sticking around for the community in the Off-Topic section" doesn't cut it for some reason.

I wish I got Prez Day off...
  3. After 17 years, I'm no longer single. <3:
  4. I think the same. Seriously, Americans are very sensitive over common sicknesses. They either get way too sick or worry much about them. I only get sick like once or twice a year and I don't give a damn about them. I think Japan may be worse on that. When a friend is sick with a cold in America we think "Eh, he'll be back in a day or two". In Japan, they go to their sick friend's house to give them fruit.
  5. The chances of you ever being patient zero in any group of people is extremely low. Especially if the people you're working with has children that go to school or something.
  6. The last time I had PE was four years ago. (Marching band gives PE credits at my school) Back then it was all dodgeball, flicker football, and if the coach was out for something then the female coach would make us play volleyball with the girls. (which we always lost)
  7. I hate how everyone freaks out when they find out I'm an atheist. It's really not that big of a deal. I'm still the same person as before...

Oh hey, there's one of those in San Antonio! Anyways, it's not the food that killed him, it was his lifestyle choices over how ever many years that he lived. He could have had the heart attack while eating a salad.
  9. It's good to have you back knowing that you've even made your life better. Will you be sticking around OT?

    Oh? Did something amazing happen?

Oh Gabe, are you drunk too?
  12. Muggi, what do you plan to do if you have a child or get an STI?
  13. So you can feel a bit dignified at what you do/want to do? So what other is there besides monogamy and polygamy? Omnigamy? You know, do it with everyone?

I figured I should capitalize the R in my display name. Does it look bad?
  15. I get what you're saying. I should have added unlawfully somewhere in that statement. Anyways, I believe war can be justified, but the methods of war can be unethical.
  16. Logic breaker: War. And also the executioner and anyone who decides to pull the plug on a person in a vegetative state. Of course, we're talking about the crime of murder here. The unlawful killing of another human.
  17. I say that if you take another person's life then you forfeit your own right to life.
  18. Since this is going around in circles I'm just going to decide on a new topic: The Death Penalty. Personally, I believe that it should be done as quickly and efficiently as possible. After being sentenced to death you get two, and only two appeals to get the sentence changed. A week after the sentencing, the offender will be taken to a room and shot in the head twice. Quick, effective, easy, not at all costly. The family can decide what to do with the body and if the family cannot be contacted or they don't care, the offender will be cremated. I do not find this to be any crueler than the current method of leaving the person in a cell for a number of years only to be strapped into a chair and have a chemical injected into him that makes him fall asleep knowing full well that he'll never wake up afterwards.

  Also Mass Effect 3 is pretty damn cool.

I don't get this part? Drugs and guns. The giant teddy bears might have cocaine in them or an AK. The school MUST protect the values of Elementary School Teaching by stopping all contact of the outside world, or Gangland as they call it. Nah, the school just doesn't want to interrupt classes for some presents.

Mass Effect 3 demo comes out today. Also it's going to be hilarious watching everyone whine because the school won't let their bouquet of flowers or giant teddy bears be given to anyone.
  22. I liked the song itself, and the vocals were actually really nice, but the video seemed like it was participating in a contest of "How many props can we show in 3 minutes?"Anyways, good song 8/10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wInHktd7hU

I love it when I take my Sprite out of the freezer and it's frozen on the sides ever so thinly.
  24. There's a girl in my friend group who claims to be fluent in Japanese. So when we went to Japantown we all used their big photo booth things thinking we could get her to just read the instructions for us. Then we find out she doesn't actually understand it. She can just read it but she has no idea what anything means. She made a huge fool out of herself. I really don't like that girl and that only added to my dislike. That's almost opposite of me. I can hear Japanese and understand bits and pieces of it but I can't read it for crap. I can also identify it from other Asian languages but nobody seems to believe me when I say "That's not Korean, it's Japanese." Note: I'm nowhere close to being even semi-fluent in Japanese. Everything I know is from a few years of watching subtitled anime. I'm just used to hearing it and seeing the characters.
