Especially since PC's are more advanced :wink: Why not? :( The Mac is considerably more advanced than the PC, it looks better, and is far more reliable with a much better operating system. Yet the vast majority of consumers opt for the cheaper, inferior PC (inluding myself lol). The reason is simple... cost, availability and compatibility. The analogy applies as blu-ray is a superior tech to HD-DVDs however, will likely lose the battle due to costs and lack of titles. The analogy fits perfecty lol :mrgreen: Another good example is the PS3 vs the Wii. Despite the PS3 being the most advanced tech', it's being outsold by the Wii 6 to 1!!! Why? Simple... cost again. I'm confident HD-DVDs will win in the end for the reasons listed above. I'm so confident, I've already asked the Missus to buy me an HD player for my Xmas :)

No, it only informs you of it's health and state of growth the first time round. It doesn't give any indication of crop yields thereafter I'm affraid. :(

The Pretender - Foo Fighters

I did cooking about a year and half ago and it was my first cape. Despite the number of people complaining about how common these capes are, remember that the vast majority of people DONT have an achievement cape at all. This is why so many strive for one and naturally, they often go for the one that's easiest and requires the least work. I have achieved the two easy capes and have since set my sights a little higher. I recently attained the Crafting cape and am now about 2-3 weeks away from the Slaying cape. I choose to do these since they are harder and slightly more fun to do (plus Slaying can't really be bought)

Just got back from The Kingdom http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0431197/ It was pretty good. A bit less action than I expected however, the plot was also better than I anticipated. Figured they'd dumb it down but they kept it pretty clever. Really enjoyed it. 8/10

It's true that Westerners are better educated than Africans, but that doesn't mean they're more intelligent. I think if two groups were given equal opportunites, you might find there's little difference. A study of that scenario would be fair, otherwise it's just baseless assumptions.

I support the idea of ranking by overall exp. Yes, there are arguements for and against, but for all the coding that's required, Jagex should do it anyway. No matter what they do, people will complain anyway. Might as well provide us with another method of viewing and discussing overall ability. I've always been curious where I'd stand in overall exp. The only danger I see is that people would suddenly concentrate on high exp skills such as cooking, fletching, firemaking etc...

The best way to handle the frustrating tasks from Duradel is to learn to do them. for instance, I now do Iron Dragons (which accounts for 50% of the dragon tasks). I also do the Dark Beasts and Zygomites (because doing them is actually quicker than having to Bunthorpe) I know it's too late for you, but I have intentionally avoided doing the new quest so that I wouldn't unlock the new Warped monsters. I only wish I'd thought of that before I did Mourning Ends 2 and unlocked Dark Beasts (which I get really often) Jungle Horrors, Steel Dragons, and Black dragons are the main ones that I skip. I've gotta say though... Slaying would be made too easy if any further adjustments were made. I like it the way it is, and hope Jagex don't tinker with it too much futher.

I would only support changing the animation provided it takes no longer than the current one. With the current animation, I can time the drinking of a potion between each lash of my whip. This way I never miss a beat. If an animation update takes longer and I can no longer do this, then I'd oppose it. Otherwise, I'd support :)

Neat idea... people often miss the little sparkly display. An emote would be more obvious. I support :)

I think that every skill deserves respect... regardless of which. Any lvl 99 skill is an ACHIEVEMENT hence, the name. Having said this, certain capes do deserve more respect than others as capes such as runescrafting, slayer, and smithing require a lot of time to achieve. Construction and Prayer less so, as they're bought skills, but still fantastic to achieve. I have both the cooking and fletching capes, along with another six. To be honest, I NEVER wear them though as they just don't attract any respect like you said. However, if I wear my crafting cape, I'm constantly bugged for the emote.... Sooooooo.... you can either have respect or emote begging. You're choice lol.

I really missed it. I rely on these forums for mulit-tasking my way through some really boring stuff in game. Glad they're back. I'm surprised they were down for so long.

Sorry, noob question here... can you fire bone bolts from a rune crossbow? Or must it be the bone x-bow? I'm not really into range at all... so I know less than nothing about it lol Cheers

I really wish Jagex wouldn't waste precious development time on pointless and temporary updates such as Halloween and Easter. I can understand Xmas, but that's enough. I want Jagex to concentrate on permanent and worthwhile updates.
