The major difference between RS and other games is that in most other games, you don't lose most of your items if you die. So if Jagex ever created a truly dangerous boss that could only be killed say 10% of the time, then it simply wouldn't be worth the risk. Why do you think Jad is so popular? An incredible challange, but tempting as you don't lose your items (just the money needed for pots and food etc...)

I don't know a single person in real life who also plays Runescape. I have mentioned and recommended it to a few mates, but only one has joined and since quit. Anyway, I started him off by recommending a few skills to work on and gave him a guided tour. I then gave him some start up cash (about 100k i think). He only stuck the game for a few weeks to be honest, so maybe my advise isn't very good lol.

I registered about 5 years after I started playing RS. I didn't start using my account until about a year after I registered either (I only registered so I could view a thread lol)... 3000 posts later ;)

Maybe it's a coincidence but.... Has anyone noticed that there's a LOT of "horror" movies Rated 15 now? I mean, if it's suitable for a 15 year old... then it can't be that scary lol. I think the age certificate goes a long way to indicating if a movie with be scary or not. Of course, there are some exceptions (Silent Hill springs to mind)

I like the idea of using the Shilo gems for jewellery, but I agree with others saying that they're overpowered. Maybe tone it down a bit for more support? Still, a good idea anway 7/10

I agree that both the mining and smithing skills are in desperate need of an overhaul. I'm not completely convinced on the structure of your table or the introduction of dragon items.... but it's better than anything I've seen in a while. So I support :thumbsup:

Yer, been saving them for about two years I think. I've now got over 60 saved (honest). There's quite a few speculation threads about them if you do a search. They range from God related (the colours match), to a pet care skill etc... Definately worth holding onto regardless...

With that one, pretty sure it was all in his head. What a class movie though... some really funny tongue-in-cheek stuff :) Yeah, but in the book, he actually did kill the people, or at least some, and the director of the movie has hinted that is what was intended in the movie.. What I've heard anyway. Kool, I haven't read the book, but think I might do now. Who wrote it? SO glad someone mentioned it, I was about too. I saw it on Friday and at the end I didnt know what had happened... my brother the pills he was taking was the cause of it, meaning it didn't really happen. And yeah, there were some really funny parts in that movie such as "I do murders and executions" "I heard murders and aquisitions was boring" And another part "I disect girls" My favourite quote from that movie was the bit where Patrick had his mate totally drunk and was preparing to kill him with an axe.... This sounds like a great project. It has only one drawback.... relying on other players. People lie for no good reason. I wouldn't be surprised if people give incorrect feedback for whatever reason. Hope it works out well anyway :)

Mine is actually a character from a novel series that I enjoyed written by David Weber. The lead character was called Honor Harrington.. hence my own name. A lot of people assume it's my real name, espcially in game. That gets a bit annoying at times lol.

I usually wear pretty plain ties to work, but I've got a Bart Simpson tie I wear occassionally whenever I'm feeling a bit silly lol.

The new Tenacious Toucan, apparently found in the new maze, although I haven't been there yet. I'm reading that it's not a very common drop at all.

I missed that one when it was out in the cinema... didn't last very long :( Will catch it on DVD in six months or so

On RuneHQ there's a drop guide whereby someone killed 1k abyssal demons with and without a RoW. It was clear from that, that the RoW does make a difference. However, that was posted years ago and we all know how much Jagex like to tamper with stuff. Especially with the release of those new rings such as archer and beserker. You're sacrificing luck for power, which is nice, but ulitmately seems pointless if you're not going to get the good drops.

Although based in the UK, I'm typically found on Australian worlds as these are quieter for slaying tasks. I can be found wherever Duradel tells me to be lol. Unfortunately, this is often down the Kalphite lair.

Toned down skaterboy is probably the best description of my style. I never wear jeans, just combats, and mostly dark stuff including band themed t-shirts and tops.
