you speak be so disparagingly about other bosses than the top 3.... - Remember the biggest achievement in runescape is to have fun! And I can see why some people like other bosses more than others.. (IE: saradomin uses kiting mechanisms a lot, bandos advocates the use of roles, kalphite queen uses protection prayers)... There's no reason to call that "nooby"!

amazing, now just to get everyone to use this :)

it's not even half the xp though maybe 5% of the xp? Yeah figure it this way: At 48 prestige I get no more than 600xp per c1 floor. I get at best ~100k xp per large floor. Slightly higher, maybe 110k-120k, but let's say 100k for now as a high average of all the floors I do large. That's er, 167x the xp. If each c1 takes you 3 minutes to do, you could need to do larges in over 8 hours (and you thought w117 was slow?) to make doing only c1s worth it. But yeah for c1s, laws > anything else. actually, in c1 (solo) rushes you can't use the ggs (as it'll always be "on you").. However you can use your personal gatestone.. So here cosmics would be best!

I don't call that really high lol.. Remember that this is only used in "boss hunting": where you'll only be in combat for like 10 minutes per hour.. (actual combat, so 0.6 seconds per hit given/hit received). - Mean it can easily last for 30 hours before repairs are needed! With a profit of 3M per hour this would be 5-6% of your total profit during that time.
-
It does bedman? No wonder I always ever miss the drops at bosses, and boss hunting never made any profit for me (I only hunt once in a month).

Really talk about efficiency has gone way to far in this thread: It doesn't really matter the exact hourly xp rates you get on your way. What is much more important for top players is that they stay consistant, and keep going: no one is even halfway xp-wise (and timewise I believe people are even further away), and I honestly doubt anyone will really stay long enough to get 200mil in everything. So I much rather see the talk going on about consistenty, though it's all speculation (everyone thought so high about zarfot, yet he quitted this winter - who's to say others won't quit?).

Can the admins remove the option to add votes to posts already again?

uhm won't this ultimatelly fail? - I mean as in ffa it's you vs everybody, for example coughing I won't move away from the crowd if I get diseased?
-
Want me to pm you some proof of a completely stupid mute (for actual helping solving pc problems why somebody couldn't connect to runescape another pc).. - Sure I got unmuted, after 5 days...

First of all I'm not going to believe what someone else said when I can ask people at first hand: -The reason for germanies poor economy was NOT the goverment making decisions, it was the lack thereof: the goverment was not able to respond to the worldwide crisis as it had to pay france (and to lesser extend the uk) a big proportion of their wealth. And it was NOT the economic decisions that made germany "loose" the second world war this is avery silly statement and I honestly can't see how you even try to explain a war with economy. Invading "poland" had nothing (or very little) to do with economy. Still they give a similar advantage as addamant boots, yet are much more easily (on personal case, where you get it yourself) to get. This is game design "wrong", addamant boots are supposed to be a "reward" for slaying. - Yet this "reward" was lower than something which didn't take any efford/time (you could just walk there and buy a few). This ment that climbing boots were almost always preferable over addamant boots. To balance this, climbing boots should have another difficulty layer around it: increasing the cost really made them an item of similar difficulty to get.

92 gives curses a game changing option (soulsplit) already though. - And in many minigames this is more valuable than piety (especially dungeoneering)

Uhm the problem for germany BEFORE the second world war, are again, not most influented by their own goverment. What happened was they lost the first world war, and as the winners can claim any bargain, france stated that germany would always have to pay a very large portion of the national income to france as "repaiment".. - Also was germany not allowed to create any industrie that might be used for war... This magnified the global repression that went through the world during 1920s.. (And ultimatelly leaded to the climate where extremism can flourish). But really germany before and after the second world war are completely uncomparable, after the world war germany was a "new" country, and started completely from ground up again. But back to runescape: I never said I was in favour of what happened to climbing boots (though it was a necessary move at that time: runescape saw that a part of the game wasn't working -climbing boots were too cheap (from shop) for their use-, however increasing that price would give a very big oppurtunity for RWT, as the price on the ge woudln't update immediatelly (there are a lot in the economy already) - So they had to manually adjust the price. I hope to see them doing these retro-active balancing updates more often (ie, updating the korasi - spec so it is slightly weaker - and making sure all (equal tier) weapons are equal in use, just depending on the position & fighting style) as I think that would increase the variety of runescape and make it in the end more fun & less boring. As for the trade volume restrictions: I think they are a good thing, the normal player is not too often hit by those restrictions.. - And only the cases where players are really hurt should be changed (ie battlestaves should be at least 1k, if not 10k per 4 hours). But this requires a case-by-case look at items.. Just removing the trade restrictions is a bad thing. Price ceilings & floors I've always really disliked though, and that I am indeed happy to see removed from the game. - But the topic is about trade volume restrictions specifically.

Uhm you really think the biggest problem with germany at 1945 was the restriction on the economy? - Really, you know, they maybe lost a war, and were occupied by the sovjet union, england the us and france? Besides hitler did bring some quite good things to germanies economy (ie: he made sure the average person was able to afford a car etc). After the second world war, germany created their own version of "free market": the "rheinland model", as opposed to the "anglo-saxon model / neo-liberalism". only english source I coudl find. This model actually advocates goverment restrictions, to prevent a few rich people of harming mass of more poor people. (Which in reality are things like public healthcare, high public education, goverment makes sure unemployed have still a perspective etc). In runescape this is in effect by not allowing certain (small) groups of people to not buy out certain items!
-
And then you suggest logging every minute to prevent the reduction? Guess it is possible.. However also when I was hunting I noticed that I only started to catch at a regular interval when my level was like 10 levels higher than the requirement.. (IE: commons became only good xp after 73 hunting).. I would personally recommend you to hunt jadinkos from 73 onwards: the seeds you'll get are invaluable (alright maybe not if you go f2p, but when you come back it'll probably still be amazing to use juju potions).
-
And how are you going to buff 8 levels then? You know invisible (from summon) boosts don't work?
-
You need to catch all jadinkos in a weak to be able to buy 1 of the witchdocter pieces.. The highest being the 3 god jadinkos. These jadinkos require lvl 81 to catch...
-
Funny you bring that up.. Germany had a very large economic boom during 1950-1960.. So big they got from literary nothing to one of the top economies in the world during the 1970s. And yes restirctions are the best method a goverment or a leadership has: it is the goal of the leaders (jagex) to make sure wealth is distributed evenly, and not 1 (group) gets richer on the shoulders of others!
-
wow, tell me, how do you get witchdoctor at 72? - when you need to catch a god jadinko from lv 81?
-
Why does somebody from the same combat level always have to be equal in strength?
-
why are yaks needed for spectres lol? With slayer ring I can be back in less than 30 seconds. (excluding bank time) But anyways: after 600-700 specters I can say you'll get a 1 torstol seed every 200-250 (I've gotten 3 torstol seeds in the last 600 I reported).

Once a great game. A story/Rant for veteran players.

Actually by the way you posted that message, I would've guessed you're around the age 15. Really the post is more or less "made" (not sure what the correct english word is) maturity.. Not natural maturity. -
hmm well running takes an age lol.. I'm looking for a method which would take <30 seconds..
-
Problem with herblore is that it's validity comes only at very high levels.. someone with 80 herblore will have 80 extra "combat" levels - however he isn't any stronger than someone with "1" herblore.
-
I'd say keep the combat levels, or maybe ditch it altogether.... However a good update would be being able to see other peoples total level at any point.. This would give maybe a better view of how strong a player in reality is!

Uhm not if I use my own laptop.. Everyone can always reads everyones else's sent data (or at least you might be able to read it).. That's the way internet works (you just shout out big and sent your message everywhere, in the hopes the message also reaches the specific server you try to reach). If you don't want others to read your message you'll have to use an encryption method. (And it's just stupid to sent any sensitive data without any form of encryption). But even using a public method such as SSL (3.0+) makes your data unreadable for any outstanders, and even supercomputers would take months to decipher it. - It makes no sense if jagex wouldn't sent it's password + username combination when logging in protected by ssl.
