Uhm what am I doing wrong? Took: slayer helmet fury quest cape karils body karils skirt barrow gloves whip defender dragon boots ring of wealth And 2 bunyips + swallow whole.. Yet I failed miserably: had to teleport out on my 12th kill because the things hitted constant 10s on me?

As said in the title: I have an aquanite task, shall I fight them with melee or magic based armour?

"Most likely": they especially said for "revenge", "if you kill somebody who just killed you". - They didn't say anything about follow-up kills....

Misses quite a bit :P.. For those interested, I've compiled a simple list: Google docs (Maybe I should post this -together with a buyability factor- in the tutorials forum?) Jug of wine of course is still the cheapest food -by far-, however it drops attack by 2, so it's not usefull for meleeing. (3.64 gp/hps) 2nd cheapest food is -surprisingly- watermelon (slices). - Problem is you would need a knife. (7.33 gp/hp) Apple mush is a close 3rd, but healing 1 less than watermelon (on the other hand it's probably faster) -problem is I never heard of it before, so I doubt it's really buyable- (9 gp/hp) 4th cheapest food is tuna, but it suffers from the low hp (10 hp/inventory spot, and also 10 hp/bite) (10.3 gp/hp) The first high-healing food -of 15- is "tangled toad's legs", at 23.50 gp/hp (compared to 3.64 gp/hp for wines) Also what's surprising is that rocktail is actually pretty cheap food: Cheaper than tuna potatos, manta rays and even see turtles (Ow and even than anchovy pizzas). Chocolate bombs are the most expensive food with 240.67 gp/hp Funny thing to note is that a bunyip -if healed "perfectly" for 44 mins (in total 44*4*2 = 352 hp) it still is more expensive than watermelons: it's 7.72 gp/hp..

You can get eek easily back for diango or your treasure chest in the pow... (Why don't people check this out lol)

Like I said I would rather use a combat familair (it gives faster xp + bunyip is often "wasted"). - Am currently compiling a lit of all food + prices (all 10+ healing food)...

Another method (which is faster + it always circumvent the revenge system, no matter how much memory it has) is to do this: Round 1: A kills B C Kills D Round 2 (A Has to get killed himself, B has to kill somebody else before revenge is gone): B kills C D kills A And back to round 1. (This way you don't have to wait for some kill before you can fight again. - in the 3-way 76k-trick always 1 person is doing nothing) Also B never kills A, and D never kills C (yet all have the same amount kills + be killed).

Well I'm using these things in case where either bunyip overheals me a lot (gargoyles and the like), or where I need extra food alongside my bunyip (waterfiends when starting up). I'm using baskets already, however I find them a bit too much hassle to use.. Rainbow fish indeed look nice will check them out (though they heal a bit little in 1 inventory spot).. Is there some way I can get a list of ALL food?

Hi all, I'm looking for "decent" (more than 10 hp/inv spot) healing food which is also relatively cheap (pineapple pizzas suddenly turned to be +1.5k)

The broad sword (that slayer-sword) also has a high stab attack bonus...

"Spider Queen." "Who's the Spider Queen?" "Queen of Spiders." That spider and Eek were my favorite parts of the event. :thumbup: Was also funny when talking to that spider while wielding eek :P. - they're alsmost the opposites (eek being very talkatize/"hyper" & open- that spider being gentle & closed)

Of course it will, it'll probably -like all other new high-quality items- drop with around 500k-1m a month now.. Wether that drop is worth it is up to you..

You mean not fighting death spawns and just continuing on the next nechryael? - wouldn't that cause a massive amount of death spawns (atm about every nechryael creates 1)?

melee, just whack them with whip and defender, using best armor you got, and using any ealging u can (bunyip, guthans, sgs, ect) range, there is a safespot behind the table at the north end of the room. Uhm wouldn't ranging be better then (if there's a safespot)... Also: what armour (karils, black dhide, guthans, veracs).. - And is protection pray usefull (again, melee or magic pray?) -Or maybe guthans + buny? (don't have pony/sgs) Ow and last but not least: what place (slayer tower or chaos tunnels?) Thanks for the fast reply though :)

So let's say Jagex shuts down the publicly advertised clans... do you not think they will go underground and keep on merching? There will just spawn 10 new ones.... The demand for these clans is there: and as long as that demands stays high there will be people creating those clans. You know that's the only requirement for 90% of the real life jobs out there? (Being president, bank people, investors).. You only need to have a good talk and people will always follow you as sheeps. - Really, that IS intelligence.

But as said many times, prices aren't rising in the same rate. High-class weaponry and armoury has risen with about 75%.. Yet alchables (since they're tied to a certain "alch price") - and indirectly also runes only rose 40-50%.. THAT is what's making the already big gap between combat for money and skills for money even bigger than it used to be! - really it seems to me that combat is mandatory, and that nothing is helping other skills anymore.. (Being allround becomes less and less good, and it's more and more becoming a game where you need 1 money-making skill, and then just buy the rest with the money you made!)

Guthan's most essential effect is the healing bonus: so unless you have other good healing bonusses (bunyip, pony, sgs) it's a piece of armour you can't miss. I've used it very, very much for slayer tasks (beats having to go to the bank). But even if you don't need the healing, guthan's body provides amazing defense, and I still use the body/legs as my standard-pvm outfit: so it's definatily worth the money... I've got too little experience with barrowing to really comment on guthan's usefullness there....

I can confirm this, and it takes ~10 seconds to craft the runes if you're good. This does, in fact, mean this method is better than the abyss. easy != fast. it requires around 30 seconds to make 1 load (14, but for easiness sake let's say 15) - and that's even "fast", so each teleport uses about 1/4th extra seconds + it requires a gold bar (about 200 gp, or 25 gp/tele).. Still not much, yet it adds up! - Banking takes (when using all 4 pouches + abbys leech) exactly 20 seconds, tested after lots and lots of crafting.. Crafting takes about 15 seconds (crafting + teleporting), then the teleporting takes another 2 seconds, meaning the final time is about 57.25 seconds. Still a good 25 seconds faster than the abbys on average takes, thus if you can make more than 3600 gp/hour (which cosmic crafting is) the slayer method is better.

Actually even for natures the difference is very,very minimal.. (It's more slowly, but with leeches you can take more by the abbys + the pouches cost a lot less. With graahk your profit was -measured 2 weeks ago with 91 rc, 80 agility- only 5k higher than abbys hourly).. rcing (apart from zmi/special ways) is all about getting most profit/hour: so when calculating the time using slayer rings, don't forget you also have to take the time to make slayer rings into account!
