Or they could do something like, doubling the amount of knives you get/bar.. That would nearly half the price of knives, and allows you easily to compare adamant knives to broad bolts. And since it would half the price of knives exactly, it would also make smithing *a bit* more profitable..

Is Runescape becoming too much like other mmo's?
pulli23 replied to Nagrom_17's topic in General Discussion
Enchanting armor has its usefullnesses: it allows them to "upgrade" armour without making new armour/new drops (and thus making the old droppers obsolete).. - This is something I still am wondering how they're going to solve: before any higher hits can be introduced to the game, health-increasing items/potions ought to be standardized.. But what would happen to the armour like barrows/bandos/armadyl as it is today? - It will simply be useless (no armour can protect you from being 1-hitted currently, if armour would allow you to, they would be immediatelly be best). If we could enchant the old armour to give a health-boost it allows old armour not to be "useless"... Also notice runescape already has lots of enchantments (apart from the old jewellery, there are now bolts, "rings" (+i) shields (sigils could be considered enchantments of the bss).. However a better explanation would be "armour has a definite stat set", no random differences within the same armour piece.. WHich RS still doesn't have. I would actually like such a change. I also play the "single player" game diablo (where I trade quite a bit).. The main fun is actually hunting for the best boosting items, and I like the hunt for that a lot! So I believe armour with "random" stats (either through enchantment-increases, or because of simply random armour) can be fun, and allows for a much wider variety of game styles. -
Or make your butler bank for you. Or that. Still, is it a bad thing or a good thing that you can make your own woodcutting training spot? Well with 80 summoning you can do the same (using the hydra scrolls + gnome patch)

Lol this is so wrong..... Higher in rank people only shove the problems away to the people who do the real work for a company.. The top-managers (only the word "manager", it shows void of activities and unnecessity) of any company are often only people with a fast tongue who don't feel anything for their company, and only feel their pockets. And once it goes a bit bad with a company, they simply vanish, with the only help they give to the company is a demand for a "reward".. The only thing they can is blow their own ego up and talk about how important they are! Yet they're often so dumb, and know nothing about a subject they work for - But how can they? - They only have a short-term (<10 years) profit in mind and are even planning to leave the company in that time again, how can they ever become knowlenged in such a short time?

of course Damage is mainly done like normally.. Only it is increase by +10 * level in a role.

If a player mod talks to me while I have private chat OFF I hope it's a very serious matter, not something simple as wether I bot or not.. You know: maybe I have private chat on for a reason? (I don't want to be bothered by questions).. If a pmod asks me such a question I consider that very rude, and I will probably simply ignore the pmod! What? Are you serious? Wow... uhm isn't it common sense not to disturb one if he doesn't want to be disturbed? You should also notice, I very, very rarely don't react to others.. (as friends around me will quickly tell: I'm one of the first to help new (clan) members out). - So if I don't want to be disturbed, I really don't want to be!

Stop firemaking? There's no point in doing something you are BORED with to do: aren't you gaming for FUN? If something is boring, it should at least bring more fun in the end: and I can safely guarantee an inferno adze is useless! (if working for ivies, you won't need the burning options, and if you want to collect logs the burning option is annoying)!

In the glory days of the duel arena: you would earn (or loose) many, many items and money! - This explicitly was a minigame that was about rewards!
-
Weird, I have now exactly done 100 herb patches: and 583 avantoe.. So 5.8 herb/seed.. And that's including falador with shield, and trollheim patch!

Well kalphites/scarabites/dagganoths should always be cannoned Bloodvelds I myself find kind of relaxing/easy afkable to simply range them with broad bolts. - Ranging the mutated bloodvelds from safe spots. Also abberant specters I dislike to cannon: I bank all irit and up herbs, using macaws.. This means I stay down for very short times, and I find a cannon to be too much of a hassle running around etc. - With this method abberant specters are like 400-500K /h (profit), and still not "bad" slayer experience.

Well when I said I lack any high level stuff I ment also prayer/herblore.. Anyways: 86 att, 90 str 89 def 91 hp 88 range 83 mage 72 pray 83 summon 65 herblore (guess super antifire isn't possible with boost is it? ;) ) @aeil: Who said I didn't have a slayer helm? - I just haven't taken the time to buy a focus sight/hex crest yet. Would've waited till they crashed to the sub 1M barrier. (Since they are the same idea as black masks, and the monsters who drop those will in time probably be more often be killed).

Hi, Well I got my first mithril dragon task (ever) now from kuradal.. Only 6 of them though :P What I am wondering is: what is the best set up to kill them? I don't own really any "good" equipment, and have only 40M in bank.. -So yes I could buy armadyl + a full slayer helm.. However I'm doubtfull if that's a clever move.. Is that equipment so much better than void in all cases? - Wouldn't I be better off -for slayer- to buy something like amulet of ranging + dfs? Also: should I aim to beat those 6 in 1 go, or rather split them up (2 * 3)? - And use either terrorbirds, war tortoises or bunyips?

There's no point in using heavies and trying to win since you can get max 12 ranks/hr. It's better to just AFK it. That's true; forgot about that. Speaking from experience, I would suicide but don't spend all your time looking at another window or tab. Before you know it, you'll have been killed early by a greedy person looking to get better reward credits. You must survive until the 26 minute mark to get a rank. Uhm isn't the game supposed to be about winning (as fast as possible)? - You make it sound as if it is bad to try to beat your opponents

What computer do you play runescape on?
pulli23 replied to nightshade53's topic in General Discussion
uhm don't play for so long? Simple answer, and as long as your RSI isn't working up while "doing nothing" the simple remedy is to not game as much.. As soon as your body starts complaining about the bad habbits: stop them! Really playing for more than 1:30 hours is unhealthy, and I strongly advise anyone to take a break of 5-10 mins after playing for so long! But don't forget to put your computer off while taking such a break (go outside)! -
Well it's going to be hard to not max out before 99 slayer (if you stop training a skill after you max it out)...

wow, you guys have any idea how much power those LCD monitors use? And then I bet you don't even put them out when leaving the room for like an hour >.< -
#-o how do you think overall accuracy is determined It's a combination of attack bonuses and level obviously, them multiplied by any multiplier (prayer, void, etc.) I don't even know what to say to that lol Simply don't be so selfish and see that you are incorrect: void DID increase my accuracy against steel dragons after testing around 200 of them.. - At level 85 ranged, with other outfits optimal (no access to extreme potions or the full slayer helm at that time though)
-
Why would you use EE for specs when your praying? I've always used whip + fally shield 3 for prayer bonuses. Cause I figured once they're unaggressive I hardly ever have to pray with my stats - whenever my hitpoints drop enough to warrant another EE spec the bar is filled to 80% again: so I effectively only pray 20% of the time!
-
Well I've got another task of dagganoth.. And I'm still wondering: what is actually better at CT-dagganoths? (I'll be praying + fire titan for some extra kills) The special weapon "balmung", or the "whip + defender" combonation? (using EE for specs in either case)

If you look again you will clearly see the 200,000,000 mark is just before level 126 (the column labeled Intermediate), not level 149-150. You are misplacing your commas. I admit I could have formatted that a little better. The Level label is a bit misleading; as the XP matches to the points for the next level (i.e., 83 gets you to 2, 13034431 gets you to 99) I didn't come up with the formula, but it matches every level from 1-99; I have no reason to believe it's different above 99. Ah, so it's offset by a level, meaning the true formula XP(L)=XP(L-1)+FLOOR(X-1+6.1224*(x-1)^2)/4, or rather that the xp difference is FLOOR(X-1+6.1224*(x-1)^2)/4. being a function of X-1 rather an X definately would break the lagrangian formula. Kudos to the one who developed it For the record, i meant that from 149-150 there is a 200m exp difference. 149 = 2,033,749,558 ; 150 = 2,245,441,392 Uhm: by noticing every 7 levels the amount of xp doubles you should be thinking about "powers" f(x) = n ^ X type functions... Otherwise you'll never get the idea that every 7-levels the xp doubles.. clearly not a polynom

then socialize first and AFTER that do the quest? This wasn't really a problem at all when the quests came out, people were way less goal focussed back then..
-
If you're also going for lumberjack, gaining talon beast charms on the run would be a nice addition: otherwise they should be ignored..

War tortoise always or yak if you can. The tort allows you to make back alot of the money that you'll lose praying. It's also more efficient because you don't want to have to bank only killing a couple of drags. I can kill about 30 before I need to bank with a tort which is epic, and I make ~500K+ from the task. So not too bad. Lol I take it you recommend keeping the bones then? - Well I'm not really into that: rather would do the whole task in 1 go (and I believe a war tortoise wouldn't stay the whole task -75-, would it?)
-
Well I want to kill them because I dislike the idea of being able to skip task for such a relative low "price". Anyways: if I go meleeing, what kind of familiar would I take best? - Simply a fire titan (highest familiar I can take)?
