Really, magic is pretty much a waste of time.. At around 1/10th of the original xp it takes ages to level a little bit.. Also notice that "gp in dungeons" is not like "gp outside".. The gp is so common: it's hardly worth 'anything'..

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
pulli23 replied to forestfrolic's topic in General Discussion
Used heal other a lot at bandos (someone went with lunar + guthans and healed himself at the minions.. Then he heals the tank when needed) That was before gs became common, and before summoning batch 2 though.. -
Why Dragon Bone prices will keep increasing...
pulli23 replied to Deltaer's topic in General Discussion
Lol even the fact that these topics popped up, showed that the price was "above it ought to be".. Apparently the high price isn't "trusted": thus meaning it isn't the price in equilibrium. (and above the one) -
dungeoneering one only has to be able to get to 80-82... Prayer to be "usefull" one has to get to at least 92... That difference is really what makes me thinking dungeoneering is more usefull to get (at first).. especially with the possibility of a new batch being released..

Like it should ....

Remember that the "resource lvl" in the dungeons depends on your average levels.. So if you have for average a low slayer lvl no high-lvl slayer monsters will come up..

Even though I would love such a feature the chances of jagex incorporating them are near 0.. They want runescape to be accessible for each person, also "game" illiterates: those who haven't played any game before runescape. These people you have to give a clear, simple interface, and features such as these (even when hidden) will make the interface more complex, and will alienate a part of their user base!

He explicitly said the item doesn't have to be sellable...

You knew stomp will "break" the rocks if you stand futher way from him - He will throw at you which breaks all rocks around you? (from the pic it seems like that wasn't the first time he dropped rocks..)

hmm dust devils can be safespotted in the original dungeon if I remember... Greaters can be safe spotted in the ogre enclave, or in high level f2p wilderness. Abyssal demons could be a bit of a problem..

The journals: yes... The notes on each boss (I believe each boss has a specific "journal entry") not

Not really. For every person who pays more for a raw material, someone else gets more for producing it. Things go up in price, and it also gets easier to make money. The only areas really impacted are ones related to high alch prices and the like. Most of the rest of the impact of it is psychological, not real. Natures, iron, coal, sharks, yews, magic logs haven't increased the same percentage like whips, high end armour etc has. I started training runecrafting while it was the best option for money -by far-. (before the gwd I had it to 85, I stopped after the wilderness removal since I felt it made rcing another "repetitive" boring skill).

Shades are basically weak vs anything..

04-May-2010 - Fight Knights Clan Tournament Announcement
pulli23 replied to Myu's topic in General Discussion
Again jagex falls for the big clans, leaving the regular-players (who play only a few hours a week) completely out! -
You're awesome <3. Anyways - Yeah, I plan on nolifing the hell out of slayer. What's the expected increase in xp assuming use of Rapier? Considering most of the damage is done from the cannon(balls) and summons.. I guess a 5-10% increase?

Ice elementals are very, very strong vs any magic Dragons are just like their surfaced counterparts (hide / ice ones weak vs stab & slash, metal vs stab & magic)

Uhm what's the problem with giving out date of birth etc? Heck there's even a field in the forum software to state it! But then again: who cares >.> Last few birthdays from me wen by without anything.. It's just another days you know

It's the softaware that makes it impossible. The max number possible in this system is: (2^(32-1))-1 , if I remember correctly, and it's equal to 2,147 something B. The total amount of xp is just a sum, so it doesn't take that into account. Xp has decimals, so you need to divide it by 10, meaning that you should top at 214M xp, brought down to 200M for the sake of simplicity/whatever reason that made Jagex do that. Well that just means they got to use unsigned integers. (2^32 - 1) - doubling the range. Or long longs (2^64 -1) - for "infinite" numbers I'm pretty sure it's already unsigned integrers, or it'd be( 2^31-1)/2 in both positive and negatives as max numbers. For the 64 part, changing their whole system to 64-bit would be a bit overkill only to make the max number of xp go up for the few people who actually care. lol not with modern computers... The whole "good" idea behind "integral" (int) values is that they were the native size of of computer blocks. (16 bit in win 95 time, 32 bit in post 98 time). Using native size memory blocks means that computers can work faster, and garbage collection works smoother. Currently we are moving towards a 64-bit systems. Meaning the fastest would actually be a "64-bit integral value", however to smoothen the intorduction of the new CPU and prevent backward incompatibility CPU's still have 32-bit memory allocation as "integral".. Meaning for modern systems an "long long" (forced 64 bits) would be actually work more efficient as an "int" or "long" (forced 32 bits)

magic :P (I never miss with my 88 magic while having "0" magic boni)

Well I'm not maxed out at all.... But really it seems being "maxed" is a requirement to play this skill Yes I know I can always solo, but isn't the game supposed to be about team play? Currently having even stats of around 80-90 gets me into no teams at all... (other than the ones who have been shouting like half an hour / random strangers who don't trust anybody and hog up all resources). Really: 43 pray & 99 are almost the same in effectiviness (not too many people use turmoil on bosses & you can refill pray easily). I always mage (even though magic is my lowest stat), and I literary hardly ever miss (while wielding prome plate), the monster styles are so weak against each type that "accuracy" is hardly a problem (so attack/magic stat is quite useless).. Also defense is pretty useless (there's more than enough food + prayer always at hand) But despite these: isn't it absurt you need 13M in 4 skill before you are accepted? - Really why do you have to "beat" the game before you are accepted. This way casual players (who only play several hours <5 a week) are going to be completely left out!

why everyone forgets that the level of enemies depends entirely on the average level of your group Meaning: lower levels in your team will simply make the dungeon easier! Also the above sounds really "bad".. Of the type: "I sent my man to talk to your man". I've tried IRC, the forums, w2, and various chats.. Yet I hardly ever finds a team that accepts lower levels! - What is it, if I am in the team I have to beg for them also to include lower levels to start a map faster! - I want to play, not wait..

not everybody is 130+ combat >.>
