I'm trying to come up with a list of all possible rewards from the crystal chest in taverly and I need some help. I have opened the chest 50+ times (I merchant half keys sometimes), but I still get a few new rewards occasionally. Possible loot: -Dragonstone (100% reward) -nothing -gp (not sure of amounts) -spinach roll -5 raw swordfish -100 iron ores noted -200 coal noted -3 rune bars -rune legs -half key -50 of all low lvl rune + 10 of all medium lvl rune + no blood or soul runes -2 cut rubies and 2 cut diamonds this is all I know of so far. Are there any other rewards from the chest?

Just wondering, why don't you want to do barrows or runecrafting? Barrows is actually extremely easy at your level and above. Anyway, the best moneymaker that I can think of off the top of my head is collecting whiteberries and selling 1k each. Theres a spawn of them somewhere in the elf lands and you can bank in Lletya using the elf crystal teleport. The only problem is you need to start Mournings end part 2 to do this and recharging the crystals is annoying. It would help to have a few extra crystals to be efficient (10+)

Yeah, this method sounds good for very high levels. I wouldn't try dharok without pray without 90+ def, cause guthan has almost owned me in full guthans withe 74 def, and dharok has a much better attack bonus. I still think you should add pray pots to this. Can't you un-note a prayer pot or 2 in mortton? Also, i got a similar idea for very high levels that could let them go to the general store less and be safer. Use the general store only for un-noting pray pots, 4 at a time so you only need to go back every several trips. To heal, instead of using lobs, use bones to peaches in the tunnels, and use peaches and prayer to heal at the brothers.

Yeah, this is probably a good way to go if you're ranging the trolls, but I prefer meleeing them. You left out a few major details. First of all, make sure you say how dangerous the trolls are. Even though they are relatively low levels, they hit HIGH and OFTEN. I think the trolls are really level 120s in disguise =P~ The yak hide armor from the quest makes the male trolls hit less often, but still pretty often at my defense level. but I prefer to use proselyte armor instead for its prayer bonus. I also wear the fremmenik shield because it lowers the females max range hit to 2!!! I also wear a black mask since i mostly kill these trolls on slayer tasks. I kill the trolls just north of jatizo since there are lots of them very close together and there are honor guards that help you kill them. I use melee protect the whole time, with a few monkfish to heal from the constant 2's that the females hit. Generally you need 4 monks and 4 pray pots for a full inventory of good drops. Good defense isn't important if you can wear proselyte armor. 43+ prayer is required, but the higher it is the better. Also, 60+ attack and str is a good idea, but 70+ is a better idea since you can use a whip. a 120 troll slayer assignment took me a little less than an hour, and I made about 300k in drops after taking off the cost of food and pray pots/ super sets.

Well here it goes, I'm sure its gonna stink but its worth a shot. This is my first tip.it blog. I have lots of goals that i've been thinking of doing, but not many people to brag to. I guess blogspace is my solution. If anyone can think of ways to improve this thread, your help will be GREATLY appreciated! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A little bit about my runescape career/ Me I discovered runescape about 2 years ago (I think) through miniclip. I was bored and thought "what the heck?", so I started a new account. At first, I didn't really like it. I guess I played for about a week, then played on and off for a few months. Eventually I realized that runescape had its OWN website, and ditched miniclip (waaaaay too many miniclip noobs) I'm not sure what happened, but I slowly got hooked, and haven't looked back since! I got most of my skills to respectable levels while still f2p, beat all the free quests, and even got 70 mining and crafting and a few million gp :P . By summer 2006, I was a complete runescape addict, but still not a member. In august 2006, I finally got to experience full membership, and I've kept it going ever since :thumbsup:! I made most of my friends since then, and probably logged most of my hours online since then also. Ikraz55 is my only major account. Ikraz66 was supposed to be my range pure, but it got locked at lvl 7 during the infamous "tip.it password leak" :wall: . I also have a lvl 3 nub account, "iron chef102" that I only use during holiday events. In real life, I'm a high school senior in Connecticut, USA. I have a hard time balancing my life with runescape oftentimes, but it hasn't stopped me from joining the track team, or having a girlfriend. i really think people underestimate quests. Sure, most of them are pretty easy, but if you DONT "cheat" and use guides, it takes a lot longer. I have had a quest cape for about 2 weeks, and it took me 7 months of on and off questing to get it. It would probably take longer to get a quest cape starting with a new account than, say, 99 fletching, cooking, or possibly even thieving. Heck, even a construction cape would be faster if you stumbled upon a 500m drop pile on your first day :shock: . At least THIS cant be denied: Questing is the only "skill" in all of runescape that gets HARDER because of new updates, instead of easier.

I think we should get trimmed quest capes (quest cape is my only achievement cape). However, you need 2 level 99 stats to make it trimmed. That way, it takes just as much work to get your achievement capes trimmed, but you have the option of wearing a quest cape instead of a skill cape.

I can solve all the counterarguments in this topic with a new idea. Instead of showing combat level, we should see TOTAL level. Unlike combat level, which is arbitrary and can be manipulated by pures and others, total level shows everyone exactly how much of a nerd you are :P

I have a few questions about the black sally, for anyone with experience in it. 1) Does changing the attack style affect how well you hit? for example, when fighting someone in rune armor, use the mage style to hit harder, etc. 2) does each style depend on your individual stats? For example, can you hit harder with mage style than range if your mage level is higher? 3) what should i use it for?

I had a hard time with that quest no matter where i got the guide from. The best tips i could find were from runescape's built in quest help system. Check the knowlege base.

i like ampellix's reply on page 1. It tells me more than the actual guide. I've been looking for a good MAGING guide for metal dragons for a while. The melee guides are good, but my stats really arent good enough to melee the dragons.

It's considered the "easiest" to buy because when you attempt to decide which skills are easiest to buy, you assume an infinite amount of money. Assuming that infinite amount of money, it's quite possible to buy 99 construction in about a day or two. Obviously you've never trained construction before... 10k oak logs from lv50-lv70 took me 5 days playing 3 hours a day. That's 15 hours. It takes 200k oaks to get from 70-99 Lets say every 10k logs equals about 15 hours So basicaly from lv 70-99 that would take roughly about 300 hours and last time I checked there's oly 24 hours in a day. Even if you waste almost twice the money to use mahogany logs it would still take a rough 150-200hours of pure work. So exactly what is your construction level? last i checked, some people managed to get 99 con within a week of its release. That's less than 300 hours btw. Even if they used mahogany logs (which werent widely available yet), they still wouldn't have managed it in under a week. (52 con here, tears of guthix ftw :XD: )

Its pretty annoying, but you gotta give the scammers some credit for creativity. I certainly wouldnt have thought of doing that. Scammers seem to take advantage of every single update somehow. Of course, i guess most of them are just copycats. Good thing i never get scammed.

I must correct you. You can only get tree seeds from nests, not herb seeds. :wink: Actually, the nests from the giant mole (trading claws and mole skins to wyson) can hold allotment seeds, tree seeds, and RANARR seeds. They also dont stack in your bank with seed filled nests from trees.

if you want nests so bad, cutting trees isn't the best way. Try killing the giant mole, or the new slayer monster, molanski, or just get them from your kingdom. I've collected over 500 nests since becoming a member, and only about 50 of them come from trees. However, oaks seem to drop them much more than other trees, at least for me.

the long bones give 1500 exp. not 1000, not 500.

while you are correct in saying it is the closest furnace to a bank, i have been told by several people that you cannot right click and "smelt x", thus making it very inefficient. You don't right click to smelt x... i think he means that you don't get the bar making interface, you have to use each ore on the furnace so its rubbish. Good for making glass tho from seaweed as there is a cooker right next to it. The lack of a smelt x feature was a glitch. Jagex added it a week later. Trust me, I smelted 1k steel bars and iron bars there recently, and you can smelt x.
