Yes, we can all learn from other people. I believe no one can truly know everything. If people just learnt to respect others opinions and thoughts, it'd probably be a better community. No one can truly know everything about anything, it's constantly differential. Exactly. Giving helpful tips and tricks is one thing, but taking the image and making it better to give to them is another. This is also another reason why in my tuts (not that I do many, mind you) I leave many things vague, so people can experiment and, as you said, learn on their own. *banstick'd*

I have aquaphobia :( I don't remember drowning, but I was abused alot in the swimming pool by my older brother and sister. I never wanted to swim, but they still threw me in the pool and ocean. For any nit-pickers out there, technically you can drown and live. Drowning means only getting water in your lungs... which generally results in death. My earliest memory was when I was about... 4 or 5. I crashed the car. Into a tree. It was my dad's idea to let me try to park it, honest. :-$

kekeke, noob. As for the wallpaper; it's a good idea and I think you almost got it perfectly. Just a few nitpickings; The outer circles, they don't look quite right. Perhaps just use a silver gradient? It seems like you tried too hard on them. Perhaps blend the element's name into the picture? Or place them under but to match? (I.e. Place the word fire under the flames in a flame effect.) Emphasise the soul picture. Some may not know the quote that "The eye is a window into the soul". Perhaps saturate and sparkle the colour of it? Other than that, it's a nice simple piece. Not my favourite though. ;)

I've seen many people here post some bad work, and some good work. Now usually they ask for comments and constructive criticism. There are people who post very detailed and well thought out criticisms and comments. Then there are others who just quote it and put "+1" or "what he said ^". And I hate it. Not only do these posts look spammy, they don't add towards anything. Fair enough if you quote something - just add or reply to it. Although post count does not increase on these forums, I see it happen elsewhere and it needs to stop! Does anyone agree with me? I'm sure I can't be alone here.

Yes, let's ban our members for something outside of a game. Although they reserve the right to ban no matter what, I doubt they'd ban someone for a ripped entry. And i'm sure more than one person might rip the same image which they'd spot and just no enter either of them or warn. Or just ask for proof that they made it, i.e. change text or character etc. I'm glad you posted this Hypnotic, i'm sure it may have saved some people.

I'm not sure what I could say to improve on. Perhaps a faint, slightly-blurred duplicate render? Just moved slightly left of the original? 9/10, though.
