  1. So, I was thinking that I'll get a red salamander for Barrows and assorted killing when I get membership. My question is: If I select the mage style attack on a salamander, will it attack like a mage? (Otherwise, it'll be kind of lame for Barrows ) Or should I stick with normal mage attacks? And anyone know the max hit for a red salamander? 60 Magic, 60 Range, 68 Attack, 68 Strength.
  2. I actually quite liked your story. Actually, I really liked it all. Great work, everyone! Is there any chance I could make a few comics for this one day? :
  3. Let's see... eh, I was level 40 or 50, poor skills, low money, 10 ranged (hee hee), low magic, no skills above 50, low total level. Now... well, not rich, bot 650k or so in cash, 60 ranged and magic, most skills at 50 or above (curse you, runecrafting!), level 83 combat, 1010 total, or sometihng like that. My skills still aren't that great. Oh well. And one year ago, I had a few "friends" but they weren't really great. Now, I've made many friends and a few friends that I'd do anything for. It's a lot more fun with friends. :)
  4. School's out, so if I get my own computer back... well, it'd be quite a bit. Something like 1-4 hours a day, depending on my work schedule. Although these forums are somewhat addicting... :
  5. Stage 1, I agree with. Stage 2, well, I did once use slang, but then I learned to type out my words, because all the "urs" and "u"'s and stuff got annoying. I don't think I tried to annoy other people. Maybe. It's fun sometimes. :P I think I skipped Stage 3. I was always the most mature of my peers. I never really insult anyone, unless they're really bugging me. Then I call them a moron or imbecile or something. Stage 4, I hit around... well, at least 8 months ago. Level 50-60ish. Man, I'm a slow player. 17 months and not a whole lot to show for it (except for the friends I've made :) ).
  6. not gonna ask how you know this... if it really is true In my younger days of impatience, I nearly downloaded a combat autoer. Nearly. Didn't actually after hearing a few stories about people that got hacked from downloading keyloggers.
  7. Wait, what? You're saying that when you Runecraft a full inventory of air runes, you get... 2k? I'm not sure what you're saying exactly... there's no way you can runecraft 2k air runes a trip... umm...
  8. Glowing bone prayer thingy = Holy wrench. I think you get it from Rum Deal.
  9. Meh, if you have a million GP to throw away, then get it. But you could spend a million GP on better things.
  10. Well, if you ain't doing anymore quests, just stick with the Dragon longsword and Dragon dagger P++.
  11. Well, every time I go to lessers, I pick up the coins and come away with a few thousand. It adds up, I'd say.
  12. Umm, totally disregard nerd's "help". Wearing such items will: 1. Decrease chances of succeeding in spell. 2. Decrease your ability to handle magical attacks. Ouch. My "help" is actually help. Not sure if you know this, but even if you fail a spell, you still get the base XP. Since curses don't do damage, you still get all the XP regardless if you fail it or not.
  13. A trimmed skill means that you have more than one 99 skill. It also gives a +4 prayer bonus, and it's obviously harder to get. :P
  14. Eh, I think the "official" world is... either 2, 6, or 12. I'm pretty sure 6.
  15. It's quite long. Just bring the best and lightest prayer-boosting equipment you can get. Also, bring 4 dose antipoisons. You want the best ones you can get. Get a lot of energy potions too, it'll save loads of time when you can run everywhere. The tunnel was easy, I just used a few doses of prayer potion and a few energy potions. Just keep run and Protect from Melee on. Don't bother avoiding traps, just bring some good food. Easy. And Ardougne teleports would be the best. That, or Varrock teleports so you could use the Spirit tree to get back to the Gnome Stronghold. Teletablets own, in this case.
  16. Well, since you mentioned MM... you actually could do it. You already have Protect from Magic, just buy 100-200 adamant/rune arrows and range it. I killed the demon easily enough with 57 range. Just don't stand too close or you'll get melee'd.
  17. Use this sticky: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516149
  18. Well, usually, auto combat programs are designed by clicking a certain color... so dressing in green dragonhide might work.
  19. There's this Monk of Zamorak caged under the main stairs right in the entrance of Varrock Castle. Even if you do curse him, it wears off practically instantaneously. Just make sure you're wearing a full set of metal armor, no magic-boosting amulet, and the Stronghold of Security boots.
  20. Not terribly, just get 150 points in all four classes. If you go through the beginning tutorial and pay close attention, you'll get it fine. You don't even need a queen kill :)
  21. Yeah, I decided to use PayPal. Only 3 months instead or 5, but it'll actually work. This can be closed now or whatever. Thanks to all who tried to help. :)
  22. I called the number; they said that it was activated and should be working.
  23. Well, the website confirms a $25 balance, so the issue's not there.
  24. I've done this twice now. Bought a prepaid debit card, signed up for membership. Easy. Now, it doesn't work. I know it's activated (that's what the card websdite says) but it keeps telling me: Help?
  25. Since bronze arrows have almost caught up with iron in price... ouch... your best bet would be probably iron, generally 20-25 each. Steel is 30-40 each, and raises your max hit by one, I believe. But yeah, bronze through steel is best. I generally use irons and go back to the Stronghold of Security and kill minotaurs if I ever need more.
