I figured out that this topic could be removed if I get ABSOLUTE CONFIRMATION that Rune Mysteries was released after December 9, 2004 - the date this letter was posted. But I didn't find any news on Rune Mysteries being released, so... yeh. I'm not really expecting them to release a new quest for us anytime soon (or later, for that matter) but it can't hurt to dream and hope for it, right? This idea rocks my socks off. Look, they landed right into the laundry pile!
Yeah, this shouldn't really be in Help & Advice. But I don't know where it would go. If you only want to get 40 ranged, don't get a cannon though. It's not worth it for only getting 10 levels.
Hmmm... you misunderstand? I'm not asking for a new quest, I'm just looking at information that might lead us to believe that there might be a new quest. So, others have found this and posted it, huh? That doesn't seem correct.
Oh, really? I guess I didn't do all of my needed research... I'll double check that then. EDIT: I don't think Rune Mysteries came out after this... I can't find any news on it at all. Can you confirm this?
Well, I got bored after doing the holiday event (love the hat) and logged off to explore the Knowledge Base. Then I found these "God letters" way back from '02-'04, mostly RSC stuff I believe. But I found something very interesting... And the answer: So, this leads me to believe that in time, occasional F2P quests WILL be created. But very rarely. He says it will "not be soon" and it's been 2 years. How much longer? will it even happen? Thoughts? Discuss! : And don't tell me "pay to get more!" That's senseless, idiotic spam.
Greetings, one and all! I'm nerdattack16, and I've been playing for about a year now, F2P for the entire time. Feel free to drop me a message/ingame HYT if you ever want to say Hi/have any questions, especially for F2P matters. Oh, and I've never gotten an HYT unless I gave it first, so... find me! USually Varrock west bank/Minotaurs, world 34. \
They're new, so prices are crazy. It'll take awhile for the prices to settle down and become constant. Basically, they're a stackable food that heals 2-4 each and restores a set percentage of your run energy.
Green dragons are lvl 79. Dogs can be found in Ardounge. Oops. I looked at the wrong thing, I guess. Maybe I shouldn't have answered... Hey, I'm Bear Fur! \
He said yesterday that he was gonna catch me in the wildernes with 10 mages when I was in rune... as if. He's just a typical moron. And only 2 people were attacking me. Thank God I didn't get ambushed or anything, heh.
Congratulations for getting membership! 1) Lost City + Heroes, for the basic dragon weapons, plus charging glory amulets for teleportations. Priest in Peril is good, since it lets you into Morytania. That's all I can think of now. 2) The Karamja member's dungeon, and they're level 63. 3) Green dragons are level 87 or so, a great substitute for lesser demons, plus you can sell their bones/hides. But they are only found in the wilderness, watch out for annoying PK'ers. Bring an anti-dragon shield! Tz-Haar monsters are good to kill, I hear, especially since they drop Obsidian capes! (NOTE that I'm not a member, but I know quite a good bit about P2P stuff : )
There's also a great guide somewhere that gives excellent advice on what to do with your bank if you go from P2P to F2P. I'm not sure where it is though...
I could make a list... sandwiches, lasagna, pizza, spaghetti, candy corn, steak, a baked potato, ice cream, pie, pancakes, bacon, toast, chips, Cheetos, Chips Ahoy, Oreos, and anything esle I can get my hands on. I like eating. Currently, it's a steak quesadilla and a Monster energy drink. :XD:
Not a bad idea. Let's stack this up though. ME: level 71 combat 58 attack/strength, 56 defence, 55 ranged, 52 magic. MELEE PURE: level 71 combat 66 attavk, 86 strength, 1 defence, 70+ magic. MAGIC PURE: level 56 combat 74 magic. I'd lose. And I didn't except to get this many replies. Woot!
How he not only wasted his time, but the time of 2 other peoples too! :-w I waste all my RuneScape time on a regular basis. Almost losing most of my wealth is much more fun to me than skilling.
I thought it was a very funny story. And since I beat a lurer, nobody should be getting lured. You just have to pay close attention to their skills/mannerisms/requests/etc. But you didn't have to reply if you thought it was pointless. :) I wish I had gotten video... I didn't know you could report them. I would have... item scamming, I assume?
