  1. I think a player's success should be based on his exp, not level. If someone has 99 woodcutting, and has 26 million wc exp, but left all his other skills at or around 1, he would be looked down upon by a lot of the mid-combat-leveled players, while in fact, he would have put a lot more time into the game than they would have.
  2. For getting your amazing artwork selected by TB@JT for the players' gallery! For everyone who's dying to see it, here's the link.
  3. That's amazing, especially considering it's 1 year's work!
  4. Well, I'm here from the GES to flame you for leaving. JK, it's your choice; I may not agree with your reasons, but I'll accept your decision to leave if you think that's what's best. See you around!
  5. My personal favorite is buying either steel bars or their iron/coal equivalents and making cannonballs. Decent exp, and you make a ton of money if you do it for a long time. You could also buy iron ore and rings of forging and make iron throwing knives. I'm not sure which one's better in terms of exp.
  6. Cook lobsters till 94. then get cooking gauntlets and cook shark to 99. That's the most expensive way. Other methods include buying trout and salmon from people who powerfish at Shilo, cooking monks, or cooking lobsters all the way to 99.
  7. Some people like them and some don't. They can hit fairly high, but if your mage and def are decent they shouldn't pose much of a problem. My best advice would be to try them for yourself. See if you like fighting them, or if they do too much damage to be worth their possibly excellent drops (mud battlestaff i think).
  8. Nope. They hit high, but not that high.
  9. Rings sould be visible, I agree. And why can't you wear more than 1 ring? I mean, you have 10 fingers, right? If you don't count thumbs 8, which means I should be able to get 64 dueling-ring teles without switching out. But seriously, think about it....
  10. If I recall correctly, you need one piece of soft clay per teletablet you make, but I could be exactly wrong on that. I do know that you get the exp for making the tablet, not for breaking it. In essence, you're teleporting when you make the tablet (i.e. you get the exp then, it takes that many runes, etc) except you don't go anywhere. To answer your last question, let me put it this way: if you have 1 law and 5 air, you would make 1 camelot teletab; if you had 500 law and 2.5k air, you would make 500 teletabs. I hope that answered it sufficiently.
  11. If you want to make money, go to yews, which give decent exp and good money. Personally, I suggest you stick with willows, as the exp from them is loads better than yews.
  12. I've been meaning to take a picture of this one... Examine the ribs on the side of the Rag and Bone Man's house: "Now where can I find some barbeque sauce?" That's gotta be the best one in all of RS!
  13. Security Stronghold almost exclusively. If you are fairly high lvl, you could try lessers on Karamja instead of ankous in the SoS. But other than that and mossies (which I hear have been un-nerfed with the safespots taken away), go to the SoS and train.
  14. I would have to agree, though I'm going to point something out: the only powerslaying is using a cannon in a multi-fight zone. Otherwise, you get slayer exp per monster HP, and the only difference in speed is the quantity of the monster, and the defence of the monster/attack of your character.
  15. Sorry I wasn't more clear.... I meant comparing fly fishing with fishing for leaping sturgeons/salmon/trout.
  16. With the new barbarian training update and the leaping sturgeons, what is now the fastest fishing exp? The sturgeons give 80 exp per fish, and it seems they also provide their own bait. So my question is: is the experience/hour yielded there better than that acquired at Shilo Village?
  17. You just listed the most popular ranged training spots. I can't think of any others off the top of my head.
  18. I've numbered your questions. 1. maybe 1 prayer pot, 2 anti-poisons, 3 or 4 super energy restores 2. If you can make the pots, go ahead and use those. If you have the sweets or if you have strange fruit, it'll take around 20 of those. 3. Whatever you can get, I didn't poison the demon and it took less than 30 rune arrows 4. 5-8, maybe 10 5. Yes, which is why you should range with protect from mage on 6. 2 or 3 hours for me, using the quest guide when I was stuck. But then, my stats aren't great, so you should be able to do it (with the guide) in less than 2 hours. Please note that all numbers provided are approximate and vary according to your stats (higher = smaller numbers), skill in playing the game(higher = smaller numbers), and whether you are using a guide or not (if yes, the lower numbers).
  19. It looks more realistic, but makes powermining slower.
  20. Yeah, I guess you're right. A Queen dragon would be cool, I guess, but you already have the KQ and BA boss. Maybe a Emperor Black Dragon, or Supreme Dictator of the Universe Black Dragon? Nope, KBD is no longer King. And the droplist of the mith dragon is better than that of the kbd too.
  21. Here, let me offer you a translation: "If I were you, I would go try myself, but get ready for everyone to call you a noob, as you are taking their dragons. It's fun to do but gets annoying when the chat box has so many noobs in it that you don't see when your potion has run out, which means you will die." Seriously, people, take the time to write something out and maybe use those little marks called punctuation. OT: Cannoning there would be like cannoning at barrows (well, almost). You can't steal others' monsters b/c it's single combat, I personally see nothing wrong with it. Sure, you can get the next monster before anybody else, but it's not that big of a deal. However, because the dungeon will be crowded for the next couple days, I would hold off on the cannon until Sunday, just as a courtesy to everyone else.
  22. Yeah, stick with the scimmy, it's your best bet. Anchor is too slow and takes both hands.
  23. If you don't care about speed, minotaurs. Lvl 1 SoS, you should be able to make a profit ranging them with iron arrows.
  24. I agree. And besides, talking to him certainly can't hurt your chances, right?
  25. It would help if you could let us know which question  If you still need training help, just build crude chairs in the parlour until 20.
