  1. There isn't a huge market for chinches, so around 9 times out of ten, you won't find anybody buying them in w2 fally bank. The forums is the only place you'll be able to sell them.
  2. ToG takes a long time to gain any significant lvls unless you have a lot of QP. It cost me ~700k to go from 14 to 55 using mainly oak larders, running my own planks, and cutting my own logs (boring!). Yes, you're gonna need a lot of money.
  3. You'd be better off firing them at the monsters near the portals in PC. But CW will work.
  4. I'm willing to bet that it doesn't take Daylight Savings time into effect. Wait until November and see if it gives the right time. Don't worry about having it set on the right time zone, it doesn't matter.
  5. I think this is what you're looking for. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=598884 It's in the AoW > PMG: money-making, monster-killing, etc.
  6. I did it at ~70/60/60, with 60 ranged. Just range him and protect from mage. You won't even need a prayer pot, but bring one just to be on the safe side. Use rune arrows for the best results.
  7. Cut gems (I have 200+ sapphires), rune javelins (I keep waiting for the price to skyrocket....), and some addy ore I've gotten as a drop. One of these days, I'll be able to use it in smithing!
  8. I wouldn't "love it," per se, but I definitely wouldn't dread using it every time I went on there. I like it the way it is, but it'll be just fine whichever way you guys put it. In case you haven't guessed, I put "no opinion."
  9. You could try the catablepons (sp?) in the SoS, I've tried fighting them before and they don't hit too high. But if your fishing is high enough to catch your own lobs, just go fight lessers.
  10. Do you mind my asking why you're dissatisfied with the fansite we have here at Tip.it? I think's it's fine, and it'll take you either a really long time or a whole lot of people to make your own, especially if you want it to compete with Tip.It, RuneHQ, Draynor.net, RuneVillage, RuneWeb, RSBandB, and all the others. There's massive competition.
  11. Heck yes! OT: I wouldn't suggest hunter, as it takes time to find an empty world. You could woodcut, and here's a hint: try woodcutting while doing homework. I found that to be effective, and if you turn off the music but listen to the sound effects, you can focus on homework except when you need to switch trees or something. It works!
  12. I haven't tried, but I would assume not. It says "2x restore rate for all stats excet hitpoints and prayer." Since energy isn't really a stat, I'm guessing that you would be wasting prayer.
  13. Train herblore, it's sorely lacking. Other than that, just set a goal for yourself (i.e. 70 fletching, 70 defence) and work until you get it. That's what's worked for me, and I'm going for 99 hunter, wc, and fm.
  14. For cooking exp? That'll take forever. You'd be better of catching your own trout/salmon and cooking those. Training fishing, it doesn't matter if you get caviar, roe, or whatever the other thing is (can't remember the name atm). Statistically speaking, you should get enough bait to keep fishing indefinitely.
  15. I don't know about a guide, but the respawn time is 12 minutes on a full world. Now that Jagex named "official" worlds, try mining on the CW or PC world. They're heavily populated most of the time, and the ppl aren't there to mine.
  16. I seem to recall that there was one by the entrance to the stronghold. Check there, just nw of the doors.
  17. This doesn't seem to be a great way to get money, but it can work. Good find, I haven't heard of this method before!
  18. This is an amazing guide, I can see nothing that needs to be added or changed. Except maybe the first training section. 20/20/20? If you've even looked at a barrows guide, you're probably at least 40/40/40. 9.5/10, nothing's perfect.
  19. What's the point of a Role-Playing server? Isn't RS already a RPG? Could someone please explain this to me?
  20. You're in luck, I timed this once. I smelted 512 steel bars into cannonballs in one hour at Port Phasmatys. Divide 20k by 512 and you get approximately 39. So 39 hours of smelting to make 20k bars into 80k cannonballs. That doesn't take into account buying and selling materials, so I would go with 40 hours for the whole thing. If you're on summer break right now and don't have anything else to do, you could put in 4 hours a day without no-lifing. So 10 summer days or 3 weeks during the school year (figuring around 2 hours per day). Good luck!
  21. The same amount of exp you would get for casting the spell normally. So if you make a teletab for Cammy, you get 55.5 exp (same as if you tele'd to Cammy normally).
  22. Shhhhh, don't tell everybody to go there or I might not have a spot! OT: catch sharks. With 94 fishing, you shouldnt have any trouble at all.
  23. The major advantage you'll have if you level mage through non-combat spells and range with a cannon is that you'll be able to use any attack spell, including spells that hit in the upper 20's, while remaining at cb 58. When your quarry runs at you to melee, you can switch to a d weapon and pwn them. When they start to run away, you can either switch to a bow or hit 'em with another magic blast. If you get those levels, you'll be virtually unbeatable in the wild.
  24. Well, not exactly.... But yes, go to the guy under Edgeville until you can wield dragon weapons, which is a necessity for doing tasks that Chaeldar assigns you.
