If it's true that the RoW increases the drop rate of items with higher alch value, then I think it would affect the drop rate of the clue, if only a little bit. Not by changing the rate of the clue, but by changing the rate of everything else. Too bad your reward wasn't any better, good luck next time!

I don't have any specific proof, but I assume no. That wouldn't be fair to be able to hit 30+ monsters with one chinchompa. I think they hit just the ones on top.

I've gotten it once, while Firemaking. As you could see if you looked at my stats, I've woodcut more logs than I have burned.

There are two spots to catch them, both of which are crowded on most worlds. Good luck finding a world that doesn't have anybody already hunting there. No, there's nothing in that jungle that can poison you, except for the obvious Strange Plant, if you don't pick the fruit in time (shouldn't be a problem if you're hunting).

I think it would actually be best if you then proceeded to make all the bars into either throwing knives or arrowheads. That way you could get more smithing exp and possibly quadruple the value per ore.

I don't think Jagex will raise the cap in RS2. In RS3, definitely, they'll have to, but not in the game as we know it.

Slayer, hands down. I myself am considering going for 99 farming, for the exact reason as has been stated so many times. You don't have to sit at the computer all day, paying attention to what you're doing, spending money on food/pots. You plant your trees when you get online, go train another skill, and come back a couple hours later to find free exp virtually growing on trees! Farming may take a long time, and it certainly isn't the cheapest 99, but it's definitely the easiest to the extent of actual time spent farming and number of clicks.

You act as if this is a debate over what should and shouldn't be allowed in the Duel Arena. It's the wildy: Jagex designed it to be this way, a free-for-all area with no rules. IMO, it's all in the spirit of PKing to use all the utilities at your disposal to defeat your opponent. If they run, cast bind or range/mage them. If they want to tele, tb them. If they want to pray; either continue with whatever you're doing, pray against them, or switch combat styles over and over. If they want to eat a lobby when they take more than 12 damage, more power to them. Essentially, if you tell someone to "stop safing," you're telling them to "let me kill you."

What is it exactly that you can't find? If it's the lighthouse, it's been explained already. If it's the drawers, well that's pretty much dummy-proof. If it's the guard, again pretty much self-explanatory.

I think it would be neat to interview Priscilla44, the current #1 in smithing. She has over 119m smithing exp.

1. No clue really, I do know that it would take you less than 1k tickets at the agility arena, so it shouldn't take more than 4-5 days. 2. If you're doing blue dragons for slayer and don't care about drops, kill baby blues. They're easy to kill, plus you get some prayer exp. If you're meleeing the big ones, make sure you have access to the shortcut so you can go back for food. They're ok, but I don't see why you don't want to range.

Hmm, I kinda like the idea.... But that may be just the fact that there's nothing in my measly bank that would warrant a PIN for one item. Most expensive item (or group of items in 1 slot, for that matter) is d axe at 2.9m. I support.

My suggestion is to write your guide in Notepad. It doesn't have a spell check, and it's all plain text. Just write the guide with all the coding included; when it's finished,just copy and paste it into a new post. I'm looking forward to this guide, as 99 Agility is one of my long-term goals.

Here is my opinion on what you should do: If you want exp more than money but you want money now: Mine coal in the Mining Guild and sell for 180-200 each. If you want exp more than money and are willing to wait for the money: Power-mine iron to 85 mining, then mine runite. If you want money more than exp: I suggest merchanting coal. Buy it for 175-185 in-game, then browse the RSOF to find a member buying a bunch of coal for 200 each. Lather, rinse, repeat. Welcome to Tip.It!

I think what he meant was where do you get it. I think some of the monsters drop Bandos' armour, but I'm not sure. And Doom, you may want to make more of a distinction between sarcasm and sincerity. Your post sounded sarcastic, which is contrary to the general attitude of these forums.

I know someone got Spiritual Rangers as a slayer assignment, so I would assume they drop them.

You need to have started Troll Stronghold, to the point where you can go up on the mountain. I thought that was pretty clear from the article.

From reading the KB articles this morning about each section of the God Dungeon, it seems that the easiest way to complete this assignment would be one of the following: 1. Wear something Saradomin-related and go into that area. IIRC, the monsters won't attack you, so you'll be able to pick and choose what you want to fight. 2. See #1, except substitute "Zamorak" for "Saradomin" Or the obvious 3rd option: Burthorpe

Well, I suppose the main reason so many people (including myself) continue to use a MSB and iron/steel arrows is the old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I myself see nothing wrong with using a bow, nor is there anything significant that I'm missing by not using a crossbow. I guess I and many others have just not bothered to make the effort to switch over. If I were presented with some empirical reasons, such as exp/hour with MSB vs. exp/hour with rune x-bow, I'd switch.

The d long and scimmy are interchangeable when it comes to training attack. If you're training it more than about 5 levels, go with the scimmy, as its quicker speed will mean more exp for you in the long run. If you just need to do a couple slayer assignments, the longsword will work.

It's neat to be able to see the top players' playing styles and strategies. One thing I'd like to know: just out of curiosity, how do you arrange interviews like this with top players? I mean, their private chat has to be set to friends, and you can't send them messages any other way related to RS.
