  1. Still need help here.
  2. Mamong replied to Drakolord7's topic in Tech and Computers
Did you try out those things the message told you, that may help...
  3. 7/10, used to see you in game and seen a few of your posts.
  4. They were better before they were well known. It's too pop now. Three Cheers beats The Black Parade. I've got both, I can listen to Three Cheers and like it, I can't listen to Black Parade, I hate it.
  5. 8/10 Made my sig and seen a few of your posts.
  6. The first card Joe recommended (the 7600GT) will be fine for playing PC games. I just got a 7600GT and it plays CoD4, Bioshock, all source games and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars very well (just to mention a few games). A good card at a good price.
  7. Pretty much me to the dot. 1. I like basketball 2. I'm 14 3. I'm just over 160cm lol. 4. I can't.
  8. Try this guide That one should help. It's a guide on Pyramid Plunder, very good Thieving xp.
  9. Unfortunately, there have been no patches released yet for Bioshock.
  10. Alright Joe, added you into the list. Let's keep this alive people!
  11. Just thought I'd post an update as I am still having problems. I have tried all of the following: Updated to the latest drivers Changed the page file settings Turned down the resolution Turned down all the flashy effects Tried other games Checked the PSU (400w) Changed monitors Taken out an old stick of RAM Removed Norton's And Bioshock still won't work. Any more help would be greatly appreciated.
  12. I'll have to try that speedfan program. The thing I find odd is that it is just these two games. I even installed demos of Overlord and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and they run fine. No problems, just like CS:S, Halo and Fifa. They all run fine. However, Bioshock and Spellforce give me that problem. It's odd. The latest drivers are installed by the way.
  13. Just like to post an update. I've tried Counter Strike: Source, Fifa 07, Halo and Quake 4. They ALL WORK with my new graphics card. However, Bioshock and Spellforce2 DON'T! Is this a specific problem then?
  14. You may have read my other posts, but I recently bought a Leadtek 7600GT AGP card to put into my computer. I had a Geforce FX5200 and upgraded to the 7600GT. My computer runs with: P4 2.8ghz Single core, 1.3gb ram and the new 7600GT video card. We also bought Bioshock. After installing both Bioshock and Spellforce2 (came with the card) both games will start, show the developers credits, get to their respective main menus and then the computer will crash. The monitor says "No signal" but the computer keeps running. I have to turn the computer off (hold down the power button) and when I turn it back on I get my signal back. Windows runs find and it accepts my graphics card (installed with both the drivers that came with it and the latest Forceware drivers. Neither worked), just the games don't work. I would REALLY appreciate some help with this. Thanks.
  15. Yes, Australia has different ratings to the US. We have M15+, whereas their M means Mature, for over 17's only I believe? They have a 'T' category (teen) which I guess is the equivalant of an M15+ rating here in Australia.
  16. I found that as soon as you've done most of what F2P offers, your ready. By the time you finish all the F2P quests, your skills should be fairly reasonable and ready for members. As others said, being a member means you can train much faster as you have access to bigger and better ways to train to get those much needed levels.
  17. When you play Barbarian Assualt, you choose one of the four classes to play in (Attacker, Defender, Collector, Medic). As you play, you score points for how well yo do your job. Do it well, you get rewarded. Do it bad, you don't. To get the Fighter Torso, you will need 375 points in the aforementioned jobs. It takes a good 6-7 hours, time depends on how good your team is. Get a team with people who don't know what they're doing, it'll take longer and it will be VERY annoying. Get a good team, with good quality healers and players who know what they're doing and you'll not only have fun, you'll knock down the torso very quickly.
  18. Mamong - 988 Watermelons - All Farmed - NFS Mamong - 693 Weeds - All Raked - NFS Both in a pic.
  19. First off, the Orange Box is US$50 on Steam. Probably a little more in the shops for a boxed copy. Second, Team Fortress can be bought on it's own through Steam for US$30. Third, it should run fine on a 6100. I can run Counter Strike Source (similar specs) on a 5200 so it should work fine on a 6100, you'll just have to turn the graphic effects down. Lastly, there is no monthly fee for the PC version. Of course the Xbox version uses Xbox Live. The Xbox and PC versions CANNOT play together. You can only play with people on the same console as you.
  20. I used to pay by credit card and I never had to worry about my members running out. When it got low (less than 5 days), Jagex would take their money and bump my membership days back up.
  21. A stick of RAM may help speed the computer up nicely. I have a 2.8ghz PC with 1.2gb of RAM and it runs really well. Also, go through and uninstall programs you don't need and defrag your hard drive. (Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter). By removing clutter and unneeded junk from your hard drive, this will speed your computer a little bit because it will read quicker.
  22. I hate the commonly used "chat abbreviations". This includes things like "plz", "rofl", "jk" and the like.
  23. Vincent pretty much nailed it. Obby items are hard to get. They are pretty rare drops off the TzHaar and they are overpriced in the shop considering the tokkul takes a while to get. Don't worry, most TzHaar weapons aren't that good anyway.
  24. I personally use K-Meleon. It's a lightweight browser which loads pages well and is easy on the system resources. I tested three browsers (IE7, FireFox and K-Meleon with six tabs open) Firefox - 48,068K Memory used Internet Explorer 7 - 54,524K Memory used K-Meleon - 21,800K Memory used As you can see, K-Meleon uses far less of your memory than both Firefox and IE7. For slower computers, this can be a great help. It takes a little getting used to, but it is fairly easy to use and is similar to the Firefox layout (same engine as Firefox) K-Meleon doesn't have all the extra bells and whistles like Firefox has (Add ons and the like) However, K-Meleon does well and has what it needs. It views websites well and Java, Flash etc all work fine. I highly recommend this browser for your system.
  25. Updated again, the list is starting to get some good numbers behind it now.
