  1. That's pretty much right. Make a few extra stews, because you won't get that +6 boost straight up.
  2. Fingers crossed that there will be a decent Christmas event this year, Shanty Claws's event was a little bit dodgy last year. And please, something better than a reindeer hat!
  3. [hide=Quotes] Because this is where it was decided we'd put them when everyone complained about leaving the Announcements board open for replies. That decision was mentioned in Forum Suggestions I believe... which goes to show that putting this thread there would mean it wouldn't get read just like that decision didn't. :P This here is a perfect example of how you can't please everyone all the time. no, its a point to show some people walk a line above the law. if we cannot do it, why can you? or anyone else? if your going to dictate rules and then abuse them your selves(all authority figures) perhaps you should suffer the same consequences. seriously, it bothers me. these forums are moderated loosely, and thats fine but when figures whom moderate it break rules... saddening Post your well wishes here. : what does this have to do with runescape discussion...? seriously Well it's not really a 'Forum Update or Suggestion', is it? yes, it IS an update. and hey, its specific only to the forums. [/hide] Honestly, why do you have to complain all the time. This is supposed to be a thread congratulating people who have put a fair bit of time and effort in to get to the point we are at and all you want to do is complain. You've put a dampener on an otherwise positive thread. If you've got such a problem, take it up privately with an admin, not in public.
  4. Locking at Request. ~Mamong
  5. Sounds pretty good. I'd leave black salamanders alone if I were you. They're in the Wildy so they're too risky and not much point going all the way out to hunt them.
  6. Once you get so many levels above the combat level of an aggressive monster, it will leave you alone and stop attacking you. Rock Crabs, however, are aggressive at any level. Just leave the area, then run back and they should be aggressive again.
  7. Locking this. The price posted by Gold_Tiger and Inuashakent are both correct. Next time, post in this topic for price checks. Post your Price Checks here
  8. Nothing beats Red Chinchompas from lvl 80 onwards. Upto level 80, you have a few choice like Falconry, Salamanders and even Grey Chinchompas. But from 80 on, stick to Red Chins, at 5 traps they come in nice and quickly. Don't even bother with the Impling minigame. The xp is horrendous and you get an inventory full of junk really quickly.
  9. Here are the base repairs by using Bob or another repairer. * Barrows Helmets: 60k * Barrows Bodies: 90k * Barrows Legs: 80k * Barrows Weapons: 100k * Total repair cost: 330k Now you have 52 smithing and 99 smithing gives you 1/2 price, so I guess at lvl 52 you'll get about 25% off normal fees. So, recalculating that we get: * Barrows Helmets: 45k * Barrows Bodies: 67.5k * Barrows Legs: 60k * Barrows Weapons: 75k * Total repair cost: 247.5k A decent saving there.
  10. Its not hard as spy Guise -> Stab -> Cloak -> Guise -- repeat i forgot to say: he said himself he got 20k life, he had a name like AAAAAAAaaaAAAAAaa and he owned all that didn't backstap him :ohnoes: Sounds a bit like hacking to me. (If TF2 has hacks out yet). Insane scores with not many deaths often means hacking.
  11. I wish it'd snow here for Christmas. Never going to happen. You don't really get the real Christmas trees in Australia, you just get your fake one and cover it in lights. I've always wanted a traditional Christmas with snowball fights, snow, a real Christmas tree and the like - but until I move somewhere where it actually snows, I'll keep dreaming eh?
  12. And what will you be wearing as main armour? Also, 30k will buy a pittance of food. (About 800 trout) Which probably wouldn't be enough to train effectively with.
  13. The way Barrows Armour works is on time. After 15 hours IN COMBAT, your armour will degrade fully. In combat means fighting, so it won't degrade by just walking around. You will find it will last a fair while before it degrades fully. The amount of hits you take has nothing to do with it. I can't really help with the second question, as I never died with Barrows armour on.
  14. Really is your decission but to compare fishing on P2P and F2P i must say then you will waste a lot of time with it on F2P fishing somewhere on karamja when you on P2P with your stats can use something like big net for fishing in begin, which is not so slow exp and i think for you enought good food ;) then you can much more easy get your stats up, it's only up to you! While that is a good idea, he will need some food when he trains his combat and it would be unnecessary to waste money of food. Maybe, do a little fishing in F2P, enough to get food to train your combat and then when you go P2P, do the rest of your fishing, as Agira is right, it WILL be faster than F2P fishing.
  15. I'd say about 80k an hour. It depends on how many your burning, but you won't consistently go at 1k logs every hour because you'll lose focus. (Unless your quite focussed.)
  16. 5k trout and salmon won't make enough money to buy "pimpy" gear, you'd only get basic gear for that cost. It is better off using those fish to heal when you train, it will make your training quicker and easier.
  17. Yes, Von_Goon really nailed it. It will save money and make your life easier to get the fishing/cooking goal first so that way all fish that are successfully cooked can then be used in your combat training. If your lucky, you can then sell any left over fish at the end if you don't use them all up.

You honestly think games such as Mario, Tetris and Yoshi's Island are games of 'little substance'? Likewise WarioWare is a mini games collection (bassicly) so I don't know why you'd bother putting that in. Also a DS really only needs an R4D4 (and the micoSD card to go in it) for most of that stuff. The EZ Flash 3 in 1 is only needed if you want to play GBA ports. No, I said kiddy or little substance. Games like tetris, are little substance. Jazz it up all you like, all you are doing is playing the same puzzle over and over. A friend of mine has a DS, and I have played some of those games, and I can say, from my own opinion, that they are too kiddy in my opinion. See them as you wish, that's just me.
  19. Not a good idea in my opinion. Private parties are all but gone in the Party Room now. Members just say "Go to your POH", but F2P got the party room, so know instead of enjoying a fun event where you can't use tele grab, now people will have to go to different locations and risk tele grabbers. A step in the wrong direction here.

I'm going to have to go with PSP on this one. I've had mine for quite a while now (I think about 2 years almost) and I am very happy with mine. I have a library of quite diverse games that give me a wide range of games to play. One thing I will say though, if you DON'T have a PS2, you will enjoy the PSP more. I have a PS2 that I barely use and I prefer using those titles (the ports) on my PSP because I don't use my PS2. I'm agreeing with Biabf here, I don't like the DS library. It seems too kiddy for me (say what you like, that's what I believe) and presented with libraries from both, I would be able to pick more games that I would enjoy on a PSP then a DS. I've looked at Nadril's list and bolded all the kiddy/little substance games and there are a lot of them on there. [hide=Nadrils DS list]1. Mario Kart DS DS Nintendo 77 8.9 92.0% 2. Not having an iPod, my PSP not only plays games, I can also listen to music, videos and surf the net without needing to buy a bunch of different things. (DS needs all those things you mentioned, PSP needs a Memory Stick and away you go) It is simpler to just plug in my memory stick and away I go. Just my two cents worth.
  21. I recommend running Disk Cleanup. Also, run through the Add/Remove Programs list and get rid of things you don't use. Even if they are small files, get rid of stuff you don't use. Where all your icons are in the bottom right corner, these are all programs that are running. Expand them, and close anything your not currently using that isn't a system process. One last little tip, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and look through the Task Manager. Under the tab "User Name", have a look through the things under whatever your user name is. LEAVE THE SYSTEM APPS ALONE, unless you know what your doing. Then, close off anything that uses up a large amount of memory. Make sure you know what your closing though. (For example, my msnmsgr[Caution: Executable File] program (MSN Messenger) is using 22,608k of memory.) Programs like this, if your not using them, should be closed as your PC will speed up. If these don't work, then as others have said, it's most likely your infected with adware/spyware/virus etc. Run Ad-aware/Spybot: Search and Destroy and your Antivirus scanner to make sure everything and anything problematic is picked up. Good luck!
  22. Alright, updated with both of your names added to the list.
  23. I'd recommend not going in and fighting the bosses if you are lagging. You need a smooth connection otherwise you'll miss the colour changes.

Then try creating the 'rscache' folder on your main hard drive in Mac and see if that works with the signed applet.
