Since it hasn't even been 24 hours, I don't understand how they could have a set price yet to even question whether they'll stabilize at it. Give it a month then start wondering, because they'll probably keep dropping for awhile now.

For starters, thinking you have a feminine rather than masculine mind is pretty limiting. By thinking you can't act masculine, you're setting yourself up for awkwardness. Rather thinking that you have a girl's mind trapped in a guy's body, just acknowledge that you're different in the sense that you don't like how society expects a male to act. Right now you're setting yourself up for a victimized by society defensive type act, which I'd try to drop. Just be yourself, but don't categorize your mind that way.

Any word yet on how rares were effected? I'm guessing there was a definite drop, but unlike for getting skill capes, no items/gp are removed from the game so over time rares should be boosted.

Don't worry about how you should react. There are two things you can worry about. Things you have immediate control of, and things you don't. There's absolutely no use worrying about things you have no control of, and rather than worrying about things you do have control of, get working on controlling or taking care of your worries. In your place, you have no control over what things will be like at your school, so don't worry about it. Just talk to people, be friendly and make friends. Don't sweat it, you're there to have fun, make friends, and learn.

I don't think it should hurt rares too much. It might hurt whips or other weapons/armor but whenever money circulates hands it's a good thing for the economy. When whips were first obtained rares actually went up after awhile just because of all the exchange of cash.

I was going to make a similar topic with a different approach later today. My spin on it was that I read an article saying that within the next 50-100 years, we should have the technology to build simulators advanced enough that the creatures/people in it fully believe they exist. If we'll have that kind of technology and millions of people have their own simulations running where the people in it are convinced they exist, whose to say we're not one of millions of simulations already running?

I don't know how you could even group the two in the same topic. There's always an explanation to why you thought what you saw was a ghost. It was dark and your irrational mind jumped to the first emotional response. Or convince people easily enough by putting badly developed pictures in a montage with scary music. Usually works. I'm not interested in buying a sound card, I think the one I have is good enough. I'm just asking if using Bose headphones would make a night and day difference compared to the ipod-like free ones that came with my computer.

I picture it being in another dimension. The floor is misty, and everyone I ever knew or wanted to know is always available. Everyone looks the best they ever looked to everyone else. And people just chill and talk with each other. I don't have much else envisioned. Unfortunately though, there is that whole shortage of chairs issue.

I was thinking about getting $100+ dollar Bose type headphones because they sound so great at stores where you can sample songs with them. What I was wondering was for people who already own expensive headphones. Does it make the same difference as those samples at stores with whatever computer you have? Or does it depend on your soundcard? I've got a pretty decent soundcard right now and normally use the headphones that come with my laptop but I'll buy Bose ones if the sound always sounds as good as they do in stores.

I dunno. I'm not sure if its a firmware thing or just a software thing. If its the later, they can upgrade it and we can have something other then friend codes. I haven't done anything online yet. So far no games I've seen that are worth it. They need to make more rpg's quick..... and proper fps.... Metroid's coming out this month I think. The first good game in a long time. I haven't played since winter really, and now with college starting I won't be able to play Metroid for awhile. :(
