Sure people can tell him they think he should go to the doctor, but medically, I don't know of any doctors that post here that could have any idea what's going on. If you want medical advice this kind of board isn't the best place to ask.

It could be pleurisy or pneumonia from a viral infection. If it is an infection you might as well take aspirin or ibuprofen and you'll be in less pain. Really though this isn't the place for any of this. Try webmd or do what I said and just go to the ER.

I don't know, you might want to consider going to the ER. I guess if your symptoms don't change at all you could wait it out til Monday, but I'd only recommend that if it's an issue of insurance. Any pain chest/lung related you probably want checked as soon as possible.

During lunch we had a new janitor a lot of people gave a hard time, but I felt pretty good that the guys I sat with at my table would always clean up and talk to him. By the end of the year everyone at the table became pretty friendly with him. Most janitors have a lot of nonsense from kids they have to deal with but I'm glad we gave him actual kid interaction that he enjoyed.

I got the other two books (I think one was on monsters and one just magical history?), and I'll definitely be getting this one. I really want to know what everyone does with their lives. Smart move on JKR's behalf not revealing too much on the epilogue. Potter fans everywhere want to know more.

I don't see why anyone would think this was a bad idea. Granted you won't ever find me in that area (especially on a f2p server given the type of people being there), but for those people it'll be a great 'hangout' spot to spend hours on end running around shouting nonsense and getting free stuff. Sounds like a f2p's dream to me, and a good piece of enticement for jagex to lure f2p over to members. It doesn't get much more win-win than this.

[hide]I loved the slight intricacies that I at first missed, like how Snape wanted to look into Harry's(Lily's) eyes. Lupin was one of my favorite characters so I was pretty upset about that, along with the other deaths. There was some great humor in the book. I laughed out loud a lot. From the sarcastic dialogue to just funny images like the house elves uniting with weapons in hand, JKR did a great job not only with humor, but as a whole this definitely has been the best book I've ever read. ... I really meant it. How are we supposed to know if the dog wants a metal limb or not? How do we know someone unconscious who has a heart attack wants to go through an operation and live? We don't know for sure but we have common sense. You do what's best for animals/humans when it's a pretty obvious black and white situation. There's no reason a dog would dislike having an artificial limb over no limb at all. If it feels different for a few days they'll get used to it either way. I think you think this 'issue' is a lot deeper than it really is.

Don't forget that in arguments just because you feel like you're using logic, doesn't mean your logic is more logical than the other person's. I wouldn't let your new-found use of exemplary logic get to your head.

Nothing major here. At my house we've been gradually replacing light bulbs with the spiral ones and we turn most stuff off when we're not using it, but we're not going lengths to bike instead of take a car or anything.

This definitely isn't the place for advice on this, but why do you think you have one anyways?

Bubsa did I'm almost certain. I remember it was a hedgehog that got its head stuck in a McFlurry. :lol: I think it was bubs anyways, could be wrong. I found it. :P Glad I'm not going crazy. Sometimes this forum feels like a blur of memories. Anyways I wonder what it is about hedgehogs getting stuck in food packages.

Good luck. My advice, because I'm unintentionally not gaining weight (and should be), is to do what I do. If your summer is pretty loose schedule-wise, get up pretty late, around 12-2. Then when the rest of your family is having lunch, you have breakfast. Then have dinner at 6-7 with the rest of your family. The wait isn't too long. Then go to sleep at whatever time works or when you start feeling really hungry. This'll cut down the amount of meals you have a day. Inbetween meals just have really small healthy snacks to keep your metabolism going. Go for jogs or whatever exercise and eat granola/protein bars that taste good to you. That's my advice, but don't take it too strongly. Personally I'm trying to gain weight but usually I'm too lazy to make my own meals so I only have breakfast/lunch and dinner during the summer. If you do try this though let me know how it works. Whatever plan you take I'd talk with some people though to make sure it sounds good. Again, good luck. :)

Look at your life in an optimistic light. You have no worries and you have all the opportunity in the world to have fun. You need to take some initiative yourself if you want to do things beyond passively sitting on your computer all day. Don't expect a parade of friends to just ring your doorbell and have a great time. Call up friends and make things happen. Just enjoy your summer. Enjoy life. Later in school you'll be stressed out of your mind wishing you could be in this state of mind. So enjoy life as it is right now and make the best of it.

No reason to flat out remove it. All the xp aside, it's still a fun minigame for people. As long as people are having fun, that's what the game's meant for.

That was pretty inspirational. :) I had an incident like that back when party hats were 4-10mil. The guy didn't give the money back but we'd routinely see each other and have awkward chats but we ended up being friends after awhile. It's great to hear the guy came around.

That's pretty cool. :) By the way is it just me or did someone else a year or two back post a topic just like this with pictures of a hedgehog they found too? I vaguely remember seeing something just like this.

Alright, I'll needlessly elaborate. Self importance - You're taking this nonexistant issue as being an important one. You're saying you belong to a group that people are being racist to. You're creating a conflict that doesn't exist and talking like you're here to try to reinstate order to a world of hate. Insecure - You're making a big deal out of what in my opinion isn't really an issue. You're acting upset like you've been wronged. If you actually take offense to what people say to you, that means you believe some of it to be true. If you actually believe that you're worth less because of your levels that's pretty insecure. Activist - Acting like one, using flowery words like racism to describe the interactions of kids in a game just isn't necessary. This whole thread is unnecessary. Me typing this out is unnecessary. You're not going to change the fact that sometimes a level 100 won't take a level 20 that seriously. Putting in a rule on these forums that punishes people for being borderline impolite won't effect how people post. With just a username, avatar, and signature you don't need to show your level here. That's what's great about these forums. People treat you a certain way based on your maturity and how you act. Not on your level, unless you want to show it. I said you're storming in here because you're the first person I've heard acting like this is a pressing issue. I didn't say you were new here, nor do I agree that new people make mass pointless topics. It sounds to me like you're taking a few isolated incidents and generalizing them into a nonexistent problem as if it urgently needs a fix.

I don't think bringing back the ban on no 'what-if' type threads is the right thing to do. While most are pretty useless, I have seen a few really good threads get locked because they were on hypothetical issues. The topic was filled with great debate, but the issue was hypothetical, so the thread was soon locked. I do agree though that something should be done to the general board so that both types of threads can keep going on. Just preferably separately.

Look up the word racism. I think you'll find afterwards you'll be pretty embarrassed. This "Rs racism" term you've coined is the most ridiculous thing I've heard all day. Whether or not people are judging people differently based on their experience in the game has nothing to do with race. So please stop using buzz words like racist when someone being level 3 has nothing to do with their race. And think about changing the thread title too if you want to retain any credibility on this big important issue. You're thinking of discrimination here. I wouldn't call it a real issue of discrimination, because the word already has a needlessly bad connotation, but what you're talking about has nothing to do with race. Just you being self important about groups in the game you may fall into that really for some reason you're insecure about and think people actually care one way or the other. This activist act you're trying to pull is pretty lame. People will always pick on new guys or give them a hard time. You don't need to storm into here bringing nonsense political correctness about racism that doesn't even apply.

This technology could clone animals with healthier meat and clone animals for organs to benefit society. 6. Do you agree that the cloning of animals allowed in other countries would disadvantage the companies of your country? Why/why not? If our country isn't allowed to clone and others are, we would be at a disadvantage because we wouldn't have the technology to do things other countries do.

If you force yourself to 'quit,' you'll still have an unquenched desire to play. The only way to really lose interest in this game is not by quitting. You just have to get so bored of it that when you log on you have absolutely no interest, and then you just log off. That's really the only way you can 'quit.' Cold turkeying it just makes you want to play it after a break that much more.
